There are a great variety of plants available and all of them are quite healthy. My wife and I visit at the start of the season (and often a few more times throughout the year) to add to our perennial beds and vegetable garden and pick up new annuals. The staff are always very pleasant to deal with and make helpful recommendations about how to care for plants when we are clearly trying something new. We always make sure to pick up a small planter of cat grass when we shop here since a donation is made to the SPCA for each cat grass purchase.

Amazing garden! It maybe a largest garden in this city (Saint John). It is wonderful for flower lovers and gardener. Here, you not only find many kinds of plants, beautiful flowers, cacti,... but also all that is needed for your nice garden. Acceptable price. Friendly staffs.

The Other View

My wife and I shop here quite a bit. I was overcharged here this past summer and E-mailed the shop which responded in a really fast, friendly, manner. I explained what I purchased and yes, after checking agreed I was overcharged approx. $20. I said we would come right in for the refund and was informed the tellers would be informed. When I got to the teller I was told, by the teller, that I was not overcharged. I mentioned the price was clearly written out back on the table they were sitting on. I told her I had spoken to a lady that was supposed to tell the cashiers that I was coming in for the refund. I guess that never happened because I had to basically ask her to take a look out back at the price listed on the table as she didn't seem to believe me. She still said that I had been charged the right price. She really didn't want to go back so I let her know exactly where the plants were on the table (luckily they were at the end so it was easy). After a while she came back and issued me the refund, minus the tax but that was no big deal. As much as I like Cedarcrest and their quick E-mail response, it was a bit off putting to have to argue for a refund in front of other customers that I was told would be readily available from the cashiers. For that, and the apparent lack of communication between staff, I give them a three star.

If all your staff were like Joanne (in the greenhouse) u wld be very fortunate. She is very accommodating very experienced always smiles and is wonderful to her clients and always willing to help and give suggestions. There was another Joanne there that I went to for many years and I find she's not there this year and she was also of the same caliber as this Joanne...... it must be something to do with the name! I don't know why you have a system on your phone where people can leave messages when they are never ever returned and no one ever answers your phone you need a new person in your office!! My 5 stars is for Joanne!
