Grantham Home Hardware is a little different from other hardware stores...when I walked in the door there was and always is someone there to say hi and great you as you walk in, they make you feel welcome and comfortable...the store as pretty much everything a Hardware store can offer from the sink in your kitchen to the toilet in your bathroom to nuts and bolts, so if your ever in need of anything please by all means visit Grantham Home Hardware.

Grantham Home Hardware is my neighborhood hardware store. The staff are very helpful if you need assistance finding anything, or advice on your project. Like shopping their clearance aisles. Often go to just look at what is in stock or on clearance. Since I was a child I adored the aroma of hardware stores and still do... TeeHeeHee ????????????

Unlike the soulless big box warehouses, this is a real hardware where friendly, knowledgeable staff actually ask you if they can help, take the time to give you tips, assist in finding the right product, and seem to genuinely enjoy their work and workplace. I know -- occasionally you have to wander around Home Depot searching for a piece of lumber or particular trim item you can't find elsewhere, but whenever possible, I head to the Scott Street HH -- I know I'll feel welcome, find expert advice, and be able to get everything from ironing boards and ladders to stains and hinges.

I used to love coming here. The staff are usually very friendly. I’ve been here several times during the pandemic. But this last time most of the staff were not wearing masks/ were on their chins or weren’t keeping their distance. I even had to ask a unmasked worker for some space. I get it masks are annoying I’ve been wearing them everyone of my shift during this thing for 10 hours a day. I won’t be returning until for the forswebable future.

Rudest awful staff. Woman named Dalia ran out across the street to jims variety to accuse my mother of stealing plants when we have never entered property. Swore and insulted her then refused to get the manager. We went to hartzel road where they are aware of the terrible employee and terrible customer service of that store. Even employees at the other location advise you to stay away! Terrible people who come running out to verbally harass an old lady who has not even been in the store????

Home Hardware is always a better option than Home Depot not necessarily because you'll save a whole lot of money, but mainly in the time. The people that work there actually know where stuff is and will take you to it, rather than the neanderthals at Home Depot that basically hmm and haaaa and point you wherever.

There is a pandemic, so this is mostly about the careless attitude they have toward reducing the spread of COVID-19. Their disposable masks often slide right off their noses AND mouths, and they seem too dim-witted to grasp the concept of protecting themselves, let alone others. And if its explained to them, the explanation is met with rudeness from them. But part of the issue is that the local enforcement is non-existent. There should be no excuses from the store.
