I dont think I've ever had such a knowledgeable and friendly individual come out to our house for a service for anything (not just pest control). As a bit of backstory, we just recently purchased a new home and wanted to have a generic pest control to be taken care of. Unfortunately we bought a used item that came with cockroaches. John was able to identify the cockroaches, put an action in place and even find termite damage AND woodrot in our house that wasnt found during our escrow inspection. Since these are covered under a 6 month warranty after home purchase/inspection/escrow we'll be able to get it done for free (saving us thousands!!!). John was very cautious in suggestions of roaches, termites, and how we can protect our house in the future. He was relatable and great at communicating what needed to be done, next steps, what to watch out for and how to save us money. John went to our attic and suggested an insect netting saving us another few hundred dollars since its expensive to just have someone come out and install a simple netting with a staple gun. Needless to say, I'm going to get regular treatments from this company and suggest John every time. Hope this helps someone avoid a home catastrophe by scheduling GreenFlash. I have no fricken idea what I would do if I had waited to call them or not at all...

We had termite fumigation done recently. They tented the whole house for 2 nights and 3 days. The whole process was very smooth. They provided us with bags to fill food and medication. Everything else can stay as is. They were professional and on time. They scheduled gas shut off with SDGE as well. I compared the quotes for fumigation with other companies as well and Green Flash were very reasonable. They sent out a person to check the house if there were any dead rodents after the fumigation was done. Very impressed with the service. Highly recommend for pest control and termite fumigation.

Firstly, I have to say, I really wasn't thrilled that I had to have my place fumigated. They are spraying a (safe?) poison in your home and it is a hassle to remove all your food and plants. However, the drywood termites were eating up my home and pooping all over my kitchen! And really the best way to get rid of them is fumigation. And honestly, Green Flash is as professional a company as you could hope for. Fair pricing. Great initial representative. Great communication. Always on time. Plus, most importantly, thoroughly got rid of the termites!

First off, Chris brought his own shoe covers! I was impressed that I didn’t have to ask (I don’t allow shoes to be worn in my house). Chris is very knowledgeable and explained everything from the type of ants that invaded our home to the products being used inside/outside our house. To be clear: I did not use this business. I asked Green Flash Pest and Termite to come out to my house to do a termite inspection and quote me for any termite removal. The reason I didn't use them was because I had just purchased the home and an initial inspection had been done by another company for the bank's home inspection, and Green Flash's inspector advised me to go through them to make any repairs. That being said, Eric, the termite inspector from Green Flash, was helpful in advising me what to do and how much I should expect to pay for the repairs to the house and termite mitigation. This information and valuation was well below what was suggested by the bank's termite inspection company and another large chain termite inspection company, Terminix, that I called out to do an evaluation as well. This allowed me to save several thousands of dollars off the suggested work that Terminix recommended: whole house fumigation. I was also able to ask the bank hired termite company to reduce the cost of termite-related repairs and saved myself hundreds of dollars. I am grateful for the advice, information, and money saved, Eric provided and am glad that I called Green Flash. I would go back to them for any future pest problems I have (gophers).

Update: Changing the rating to one star As of April 17, our broken roof tile issue has still not been addressed or resolved after a few email exchanges with "Green Flash Pest & Termite Control." We had to spend 10 hours of our time and money gluing and repairing 40+ roof tiles that they destroyed. It's frustrating that we haven't even been offered a decent apology from them, let alone any solutions to their mishandling. Their customer satisfaction is clearly not a priority. ---------------------------------------------------------- 2/15/2021 They did a great job on fumigating the whole house. John was friendly, knowledgeable, and gave us a reasonable quote. However, the biggest issue we have is that they ended up cracking and destroying over 40 concrete roof tiles on our roof. Originally, John assured us that their team might accidentally crack 2-5 tiles at the most during the procedure, so there would be no need for us to pay extra $250 for insurance. When we also spoke with the team on site about the roof tiles, they assured us that there would be no problem. Destroying 40 tiles is just absurd. In the past, we've gone up on the roof and worked, and never broke more than a couple at a time. It appears that they rushed and ran carelessly all over the roof so that they could get the tenting job done as quickly as possible. We always try to support our local businesses, but after this experience we would not recommend this company if you have cement or clay tile roof.

The woman who scheduled it proceeded to say I was remembering things wrong and she was sure I said termites. I never said termites. I've never had termites here. I did not want any pesticides, since they have potential environmental and health implications, but due to highly aggressive Argentine ant infestations, I had no choice. Green Flash answered all of my questions (and firstly they answered the phone- no bots) and gave me information on the pesticides they use so I could do my own research prior to the appointment. Jonathan, the technician, is knowledgeable, informative, kind, compassionate, patient and competent. He alleviated my anxiety while resolving my infestation. He is a top notch professional. Initial inspection request was for RODENTS! We were informed we did NOT have rodent issues, however during the inspection termite issues were found. This required a second visit from a termite specialist. Troy (termite specialist) arrived on time and in Covid-19 Protocol. He was professional throughout his visit and performed a very thorough termite inspection. He found significant termite infestation in a couple of different attic areas, and felt we needed a visual of them, which we were able to do. He expressed options available to mitigate issue. We are 100% satisfied with the inspection services that Green Flash Pest and Termite Control have performed for us.
