Theresa there told me the earliest appointment would be at least a week out but offered to hold a date/time while I looked for more immediate help. While I did this, she called back to let me know that she would divert Derrick, who was at another job 3 miles away to meet our needs. Many thanks, Theresa. Derrick arrived shortly and explained what he would do. We agreed on the price and conditions. He went about laying out baits and boxes as he specified in a prompt and professional manner. He came out for a free inspection for a brown recluse infestation in my home and gave me an appropriate quote and a thorough explanation of all that would be done to take care of the problem. After the first treatment, I noticed a significant difference in the number of spiders but still quite a few in the sticky traps in our bedroom. The only others I have seen were all dead so I know the treatment has worked. He came back out to spray again and focus on problem areas! Lee was very kind and answered all questions I had during the process. I feel so much safer in my home now, especially after having been bit by a brown recluse before we got treated; not fun! Lee is great! I chose Augustine Exterminators based on being a locally owned family business, around as long as I have been, and no contract requirement, and I like their website as it is easy to navigate and is inviting. They are not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. Lee listened to my concerns and helped me brainstorm additional prevention measures, providing ideas I had not heard of. And, when I called the week before to set up an appointment, because I was moving into the residence the following weekend, they arranged the schedule so he could come out the day before the move and provided me with the first appointment of the day to accommodate my work schedule.

Using Augustine has been a wonderful experience. They come quarterly, but its a very automatic process on my end. I usually don't have to think about whether or not they are coming to service because they beat me to the schedule. I've only had to call 1 time in the 3 years that we've used them to ask for an additional service outside of their normal maintenance. We have an older home and spiders love our nooks and crannies, since we've contracted with Augustine, we have yet to see a spider or evidence of one. I have little children and this puts my heart at ease. They are very professional, they are very thorough, and they are very easy to work with. I can not get used to the new procedures that do not have the technician or the office make an inside appointment. I live at a place called Lake Forest. Anyone want to guess how many critters of all kinds I see or see evidence of inside my house. Mark from Augustine's called ahead and gave me a time frame for when he would arrive. He wore covers on his shoes when he entered the home. He did an inspection of the exterior and then the basement to look for termites. I was happy to hear there were no active termites in the home. He told me I could call every other year and they would inspect more at that time. He was very courteous and I was happy with the service. I would call again.

Checked the bait traps around our house. Found one that had been hit by termites so replaced with the stuff they will take back to the colony and kill them all within a few weeks. Augustine originally the Sentricon system 21 years ago to rid us of our original termite infestation. The bait stations on the other side of the house were hit a few years back when the neighbors on that side had an infestation. Now the neighbors on our other side say they just recently porched the house an found termites. Without the bait traps that they inspect and service quarterly, we would have had to notice that termites were again attacking our home. The annual fee is a small price to pay for the peace of mind that our home will not be destroyed by termites.

Well it all started with I think I have termites. Augustine exterminators were the first company to come out and perform the inspection. This was a good thing if you look at all the reviews. Tim came out and had a wealth of information, set my mind at ease and offered a couple of reasonable options. When you need information regarding your problem and you get someone with many years of experience it's a good thing. Anyway chose the quicker option and Augustine was out the following week.
