Had bed bug infestation in one of my rooms. I already threw the bed frame, and emptied the room except mattress and desk/chair. I called them, and a staff came for assessment. The staff checked all the beds, and identified there is infestation in one room only. He did like 10min chemical treatment, and charged $125. The staff didn't inform me that there is NO GURANTEE OR WARRANTY with the treatment(didn't even give proper receipt), and said it's something that I have to talk with boss.
2 weeks later, I got a tenant in the room, and the tenant reported bed bug bite & bed bug that he found near the bed. I called the company, and a guy answered the phone. I asked what do I do now as there is still bed bug AFTER their treatment. The guy suddenly raised voice and yelled at me by saying it's clearly written "there"(despite I didn't get any proper documentation from the company regarding the treatment) that there is NO GURANTEE OR WARRANTY.
He said he has best crew and best chemical, and there is no way that there is still bed bug in that room. He said that's what I get if I choose cheaper way(=$125) to treat the bed bug through their company despite the staff was the one suggested the one room treatment after checking all the bed. He offered either I pay another $125 for another treatment for the same room, or get the whole house treated properly. I WILL NOT have this company treat the my whole house when the company can't even deal with bed bug in ONE ROOM, and take NO RESPONSIBILITY with the treatment on the room. If the outcome would be same whether you don't do anything or do it w/ $125 treatment, then I wouldn't do the treatment if there is NO FOLLOW UP.
