Amazing job. I hired this company back in November to take care of a mice problem in my basement and they are all gone. The technician closed all the points of entry put boxes in and outside of the house and we are still clean! Super happy with their services. On top of that I did my research they are the best priced in the market. And the technician actually had an university degree. Accidentally , we found a hornet nest in my kid's bed room when he kicked the wall accidentally at 10:00pm when he tried to go to bed. Unexpectedly, hornet came out, and soon filled the room. we closed the bed room door, called early in the morning to look for pest control service list on Google and phone book, and finally found one that promised to come by at 10:00am, however, the person didn't show up, according to Google review, the person always late, but worth the waiting, as good works. Then we wait and wait until 5:00pm, he never called us or return call to us. So we can't wait any more, we call again according to the google search list for all the pests control companies that we didn't call in the morning, most of them replied were too late to come, or only can come the next day. Then here is the best part that save our date: I called Pest Patrol Ottawa, he told me he will be here at 6:00pm, and he came just right at 6:00pm, and within one hour, he terminated all the hornets in my kid's bed room, and took out the nest under the window with environmental friendly chemicals. I will for sure to call him again if we find more hornet nests or need other pest control services. Pest Patrol Ottawa is very Honest, efficient, professional and very friendly. The best in town.

FOLLOW UP: Hi, I gave every information in review about date of service and amount paid but if you still claim that you can't find any information in your system then it is a false statement. I am giving details again: Address: Morgans Grant, Kanata Date: June 29, 2019 Time you spent on my property: 12:26 pm - 1:19 pm Neither I asked for any Invoice, nor you provided any Invoice. I paid you $500 cash. I have Bank receipt for it. You never replied to email sent on 2nd July at 9:18am I GOT RIPPED OFF AND WANT TO AWARE OTHERS TO PROTECT THEMSELVES. Please make sure that you compare prices quoted by him with others first. Also, make sure that solution offered by him for your problem is really worth for you. I called Pest Patrol Ottawa on Friday June 28th 2019 at 3:47 pm as I found couple of mice inside my house. I asked him if he has availability today then he advised that he can come on Saturday between noon and 2 pm as he is totally booked today. He told me that inspection fee is $75 and he will check all the points around house from where mouse might have entered. If I will choose to get them closed by him then he will waive $75 inspection fee. I got agree to it. On Saturday he showed up at 12:26pm. He started inspecting points outside and found 3 holes from where mice might have entered. He advised that I will need 6 BAIT boxes around my house to prevent mice coming inside again. He will charge $60 for each box and $140 to close those holes, so total of $500. I asked him that why do I need 6 boxes and especially outside. He told me that mice leaves trail behind and others will also come inside your house. To prevent them from coming, it is required to have 6 boxes. We got agree to it. He told me that I need to get them refreshed each year during October. I asked him what does refresh mean. He told that putting new poison inside boxes. If he will have to come then he will charge $130 to $175 and if I will bring boxes to his office then he will charge $10 for each box. He installed six boxes and installation time is within 5 minutes which includes putting poison inside these boxes and then putting them around house. He closed those holes by mesh. Once he finished outside, I requested him to have traps inside and he installed traps inside my house. He was done in less than 1 hour within his arrival. I have cctv footage which shows that he was on my property for only 53 minutes. Once his job was completed then I offered to pay him by Credit card which he refused. He said that he doesn’t take credit card. Either Cash, etransfer or cheque. I offered to pay cash and went to bank in my neighborhood to withdraw cash. I paid him cash by going to TD bank. Once I came back home, then I checked that he OVERCHARED ME FOR EVERYTHING. The box for which he charged me $60 including poison is available for $21.95 on amazon and poison can’t be for $28.05. Also, 0.8kg commercial poison chunks are sold for $48.99 in local stores. As mentioned above, putting poison is $10 for each box each year, I don’t understand on which basis he charged me $28.05 for it. I felt like ripped off when I found that this guy overcharged me and I didn’t even need 6 boxes for my house. I called him back saying that he overcharged and should have charged me genuinely. He started raising his voice saying that he came to fix my problem on weekend and because of which he charged that money. I told him that I asked you to come on Friday and it was you who said that I can’t come today and I will come on Saturday. I told him that please return overcharged money and charge whatever is genuine and refund my money. He hung up on me saying that he will call me later. I waited for 15 minutes and he didn’t call me back. I called him back but he didn’t answer. I texted him saying that I am ready to return his 6 boxes to his office, so that he can give back my $360 which he charged for boxes and can keep $140 for closing those holes with mesh. He didn’t reply me yet. I called him multiple times but no answer. At end I am left with no other option than to post this google review

We had a problem with mice in the small space between the roof and the ceiling in the back portion of our backsplit bungalow. We called Pest Patrol and on October 3, 2018, Auday Edan came to assess the problem. He did a cursory inspection, blocked one potential entrance point for the front portion of the house and sold us four baited mouse traps for a total of $350. Pest Patrol’s solution is not permanent. The mice do take the poison and die but new mice always return under the upper roof. Thus, we are obliged to periodically refill the traps at an additional cost and the entry point issue is never resolved. Pest Patrol’s solution is also inhumane. Auday assured us that the traps would only kill mice. He further said that the poison was stronger than household poison so that the mice die more quickly and humanely. However, this year we have found chipmunks in our yard which were poisoned and were suffering a slow painful death. When we called Auday on July 11, 2019 to complain, he said that the traps were designed to kill rats, too, a fact that he had failed to reveal initially. He said this was a misunderstanding but there was no misunderstanding; he deliberately misled us. In view of the above, we cannot recommend Pest Patrol’s services. Their method for controlling mice is not humane and is not a permanent solution. Furthermore, their sales practices are misleading. Neighbors have recommended Skedaddle Humane Wildlife Control and we intend to try their services. FOLLOW-UP: The owner's reply is again misleading. He states that we had to refill the traps with poison in the spring for them to continue to be effective and that we did not do so. That is wrong. On March 22nd of this year, I took three of our traps to Auday's place of business on Tremblay Road and paid him $30 to have them refilled with poison. He further states that we found one suffering chipmunk in our yard. In fact, we found two and I suspect there were more. He says the traps are intended to kill mice and rats and that the screws inside the openings are intended to keep out larger animals. However, if the openings are big enough to let rats in (which we were not originally told), then they are big enough to let chipmunks in. Since I refilled the traps in March, clearly chipmunks could enter and eat the poison. In the case of both the chipmunks we found, they had no attack marks. Rather, they were convulsing which strongly suggests they had ingested poison. It was a cruel death and, in each case, I was forced to euthanize the chipmunk to put it out of its misery. As you know, my wife was very upset by this situation and returned the traps to your office. We don't expect a refund but we do feel obliged to alert others to your misleading and inhumane practices.

So I called this company three months ago and after the inspection which cost $75 they offered treatment according to my budget oh, they were very efficient, waived the $75, closed all the little holes mice were using to come into my place and to date I still have not yet seen another mouse in my house. Edan first helped us get rid of our tiny pesky ants that were persistently in the kitchen. He sprayed the outside of the house and interior doors which worked right away. He also sold us a can of spray which was more effective than anything else we had bought!! Wish I had called him months before trying all the store bought stuff!! Then a few years later I happily, and surprisingly (because I lost his contact info) had him arrive as I was trying to deal with a mouse problem!! He was the only one who came (or even returned my call) the day I called and helped deal with the mice!! I had one stuck in a trap the night before who kept my kids up and we couldn’t find in the drop ceiling. We have used Pest Patrol twice at two different houses, for two different issues and we have perfect experiences both times. The first house had bees trying to make a nest in the siding of the house. One visit from Auday and they never came back. In our current home, we started having Carpenter Ants. From community boards and asking around, it appears to be a common problem in the area I live in. We called right at the first sightings and he initially gave us some recommendations over the phone to see if we could resolve the issue on our own. He gave us some indicators, and when the situation got worse he came right away for a consultation. After his inspection, he gave us his recommendations (inside and outside the house). We knew our options, the costs, and he tailored our project for our needs (e.g. selecting the treatment chemical best for us because we have a toddler....I even looked it up using Canada.ca resources and the datasheet was consistent with his commentary). Day of the treatment, we had the house ready for him with his instructions (I even forgot to do two things and he moved them for me) and he executed perfectly. It's only been a week but I have not seen any ants alive and our situation was getting bad. We still need him to come back to do the outside the house when it finally stops raining. He's always exactly 5 minutes early for scheduled appointments, truck is white with no markings, he communicates well & is transparent and lets us choose out of our options. Rates are always reasonable, and each invoice the price quoted was the price I paid. Most importantly the execution has been perfect. These problems can make you lose sleep, so I want to be able to call a contractor to "take care of it".

I had ants all around my front door and when I took off the frame, there were tons of eggs on the wood ????, so I immediately called a bunch of exterminator companies for estimates. Some didn't call back and some just wanted to come and charge for an estimate without discussing. This company was the only one to take time to give me tips and information over the phone before they even come to the door or get paid a penny. The guy I spoke with was super knowledgeable and saved my day. My experience was that they work with integrity and honesty, so yes I would definitely recommend them and hopefully I won't have to call again ????, but if anymore pests want to enter, I will.

Unfortunately, the solution involved outdoor bait boxes. These attract racoons who carry the boxes away so the solution is ineffective for those who live in the suburbs. He was fast in responding to my call though and did block one of the entry points he identified. A verbal 6-month guarantee was made, but the paperwork indicated no guarantee. Be sure to check the paperwork and clarify terms before payment. Response to owner: Your response below is inaccurate. You called last night when I was not available. I got your message this morning and will call you back. I did inform the technician I had racoons on the property. Tech told me to go online and order traps. I said I don't have a car to take them anywhere after they are trapped so that was not a viable solution. Remember, we joked about keeping them as pets or taking them on the bus! Technician convinced me to go with pay as you go, despite my clearly wanting a guaranteed solution. He did not say I'd lose the guarantee. My bad for not clearly looking at the paperwork though.
