This will be our second time using Pro-X pest control services and I can’t say enough good things about them. When we first moved to our house, we were concerned by a few ants in our kitchen and Mike came and put our minds at ease while also spraying for other critters (centipedes, spiders, etc.) that may annoy us later. Mike is such a ray of sunshine, with a real passion for his craft, we were beyond pleased with him and his services. We were so happy we saved his contact info just in case we need them again. Yesterday we arrived back after a week at the cottage and found some very small mouse droppings in our basement. We knew who to call and so glad we did! Dennis (a Pro-X exterminator) came the very next day and was so quick in finding the entry hole and sealing it all up, I couldn’t be more thankful. He checked so thoroughly around our house that I feel I can rest easy now. Thank you Dennis for the preventative measures too like the poison in the attic and in the sheds. I HIGHLY recommend you give Pro-X pest services a call if you have any sort of pest problem! They are the only guys I trust and have found to be so thorough, professional and kind! I highly recommend Pro-X. I had Dennis stop by today for a mouse problem in my attic. He quickly identified the entry point and placed a large amount of bait around the entire house. He took the time to explain how the bait worked and assured us if our cat caught one that ingested the poison she would not be harmed. I was extremely impressed with the level of knowledge and professionalism this company provides. Hopefully I will not need their services again but if I do I know I can count on them. Friendly, Promt and Knowledgable. I called Mike at Pro X services with couple of questions regarding termites. I had a situation where I thought I might have termites on some wood trim I had stored and was ready to install in my house. I wanted to get some expert advise before bringing what could be a nightmare in to my house. He suggested I snap a picture so he could examine the photo. He was very promt at reviewing the photo and got back to me within minutes and confirmed It wasn't termites. Such a relief. Don’t call Orkin call Mike at Pro-X! Wow! This was a relief! I had bees in my basement ceiling. Every other day I’d find one or two of them in the basement. I called Orkin. The guy came by and I showed him the bee. He said it was a carpenter Bee, I will have holes in the 2x4s and if I wanted them to spray inside I had to vacate for 6 hours. Also if I wanted him to come inside to see the basement ceiling I would have to pay for the assessment $75 and schedule another visit where I could take my family and pets away for 6 hours! I decided to just reschedule. He said that the office would call me. Two business days later no call. We are talking about bees here, busy busy bees! They don’t stop. So I called Mike at Pro-X! I explained what had happen with Orkin on the weekend. That the bees were identified as Carpenter bees, I had killed up to 7 of them and they sounded like there were several of them. He said his guy in the field, Dennis, would call me in 20 mins to line up a visit. He quoted me a price and guaranteed his work. Dennis and Ryan arrived about an hour after the called me and about 90 minutes after I had called Mike. They discovered that this was actually bumble bees. They were angry big bumble bees! Dennis and Ryan backed out, regrouped, prepared for dealing with a different type of bee and removed all of them. The bees were making a nest in the insulation. After treatment, my family and pets only need to avoid the area for the next 24 hours. We don’t have to evacuate our home. Thank You ???? so much! I am ???? relieved to be ???? bee free!!

I don't know what to say! I called because I found ants in my kitchen! I wanted them gone!!! I spoke to mike who was awesome. Instead of me quickly spending 300 dollars on having him come spray he suggested i try something i could buy at home hardware first. Mike has answered my many texts and calls over the past hours. Annoyingly I wanted to know which product to buy and sent him pictures of products ensuring i was getting the right one! He never lost his cool even though i was a non paying customer! I got the pre treatment this year and they honoured a free follow up spray for some pesky wasps that found their way around the treatment. Friendly, Knowledgeable and Professional! With both squirrels and mice running around in my living room and bedroom ceiling, I was very frustrated and concerned. Having run a successful business, Vaillancourt Plumbing, in Oshawa for many years, I always look for certain markers when hiring other services. Mike at Pro-X delivered in spades. I hired a local pest control company, once before, and received very poor service - quick in and out money grab and lack of proper response to my questions. I was, therefore, cautious and skeptical of the industry. However, my concerns were quickly but to rest after speaking to Mike from PRO-X. He answered all my questions when I first spoke to him by phone and again gave me a lot of useful information when he came out to my house. He was very thorough and checked my house from top to bottom (on the roof and in the attics), giving me tips to prevent future problems. He located the entrance point for the squirrels, which had eluded me, and put his equipment in place to get them out. Further, he strategically located mouse baited containers at several locations. I've done battle with mice for years with limited success. The Result from Mike's Visit: within less than a week, the squirrels are out and free and the mice, presumable, all dead... I don't hear a thing. Mike is coming back in a few days to remove his equipment and permanently seal the squirrel entrance point. I am delighted this situation resolved without what I thought might be costly removal and repairs to a section of my house. Would use PRO-X again without hesitation. Great service!

I called Pro X about some bed bugs and getting rid of them. I spoke with Mike and he was very knowledgeable about what needed to be done. I followed his instructions and took a couple treatments but finally got rid of them. There cost was very reasonable, but most of all he was honest and took the time to make sure it was done right. I had great techs, answered all my questions (several times), they were well informed and educated of procedures to clear spiders from our house. They were courteous and friendly. Mike the owner came out to meet us during the day they sprayed and was super friendly and helpful. They were also available on text when I had some questions and responded promptly. No one could beat their price either, we called 4 different places for quotes and they were the best. They were on time and fit us in before anyone else could. Hopefully we won’t ever need them again but I’d call them first before anyone else.

My wife heard what sounded like scratching coming from our attic and so I started looking for pest control companies right away. I called a large company and they came out the following day. I felt the consultant was nothing more than a salesman who was trying to make another sale. His investigation didn't seem thorough enough as he looked at the attic for only 3 minutes and used a drone to inspect the roof! He also couldn't provide me any concrete proof of actual animal activity. This is when I called MIke at Pro X. He came the very next day that he was available and his inspection was thorough and informative. He also explained everything that he was going to look for before he did it so that we would know exactly what to expect. He spent a good amount of time looking at our attic and even used an infrared camera. He was honest and said he didn't see any evidence of animal activity, which I appreciated very much. He spent an hour here and didn't charge us for the consultation. He was even kind enough to use his infrared camera while here to look at the source of a water leak we had in our basement. In summary, Mike is a very knowledgeable, professional and kind individual, highly recommended.

Yesterday June 21/2019 I called Mike at PRO X and left him a message.He called back shortly there after and I told him of my problem. I thought I had Termites but he assured me that it was ants and to try to get them myself because it was relatively easy and if I had problems after that to call him.He guided me through the whole thing and told me what to expect as I was going through it. He told me that he want to make a living but doesn't want to just take someones money. Well I did what he said and what I was to expect happened exactly as he said. When searching for a pest control company in Whitby, I found Pro-X Services. Not only did they have great reviews, their pricing was competitive as well. My home as well as my adjoining neighbours had Pharaoh Ants and although they are tiny, they were very annoying! I called Pro-X and spoke to the owner Mike who was very be informative about these annoying insects and explained the procedure used to eliminate them. Mike’s team came out and assessed the ants and set out bait stations. Even during the COVID-19 situation, everyone was very respectful, professional and a pleasure to deal with!! I have had bug and rodent problems and Pro-X has always done a great job and taken care of whatever issues came up. We had dealt with another company (starts with an Or) prior to finding pro x and they were absolutely awful, horrible customer service, ignoring our calls when the problem wasn’t going away, lying about warranties, ignorant on the phone and seemingly only wanted our money! We ended up finding Pro X after getting no help from the previous company and let me tell you, they’re worth every penny and I’m SO glad we found ProX!!! We had a bed bug problem and Dennis was here so promptly to help deal with the situation on such short notice.
