Last May (2014), Kenny came to bat proof our home. We started hearing rustling sounds again in the wall a few weeks ago and called Kenny. He promptly came out and installed a bat tube on the roof. He just came this morning to remove the bat tube and told me that the bats had been trying to roost under the roof vents (they can't get in, screening prevents them from entering the attic). He checked all the vents and re-caulked. Kenny is wonderful. Customer service is a priority for him. If you have a bat issue in your home, don't hesitate to call him.

Two summers ago we had the unfortunate experience of a bat flying down from our the third story of our heritage house and entering our main living area. Kenny of Bats Canada Inc. did a very high quality job of ridding our house of bats and then cleaning up the attic of bat droppings in preparation for it to be insulated. I went up to the attic and inspected the cleanup work after it had been completed. I knew what had been there beforehand and therefore I could see that the job done was excellent . I was very pleased with the results and so was the insulation install crew. It's two years now and no bats have returned. Our house was built around 1880. The job done was well worth the price. I watched Kenny work and was able to interact with him quite a bit as I'm retired. For some people quality work is who they are and that describes Kenny exactly - he's someone for whom doing quality work is very important. Recently we had siding added to our second floor facia and soffits and again I got to know and talk to the installer as he completed the job. During one of his breaks we were chatting and out the blue he asked me who done the caulking job up on the second story. It was Kenny who had done it since this is one of things that needed to be completed to keep the bats from getting back into the attic. Anyhow, the siding installer went on to say he had never seen such a good and through job of caulking as had been done on our upper storey. This is work I wasn't able to inspect at the time it was done yet it was top notch. I was very pleased to hear that - yet it didn't surprise me. So pay a little less and you'll have your bats back before long or pay a little more for Kenny's high quality work and that won't happen.

I called Bats Canada regarding to remove and prevent bats from entering my house. They spent a long day on ladders and the roof installing screens, caulking and additional flashing. Since then, I have heard no scratching in the walls and there have been no bats entering my living space. Expensive? Well, that depends on how much you like living with bats flying around your house. This is not exactly easy work. Certainly ,not something most home owners could do, especially in one day. As an extra bonus, they also looked into a rain water leak I had around my chimney. With the application of extra caulking in that area, they cured my water leak, something United Roofing was unable or unwilling to do. Thanks guys. Great job. Worth every penny.

We were bat free for almost 5 years, unfortunately due to a roof repair done by another contactor the bats got back in. We have had bats inside our very old house a number of times a year for a few years now. After being awakened by a bat flying overhead for the first time this year, I decided that I was not willing to wait for another sighting. Instead, I stayed up and spent hours researching why bats may be in the house, where they might come in, and how to best bat-proof our house. I kept coming back to Kenny's website for Bats Canada, and realized that all of the services that his website promises were backed overwhelmingly by the numerous reviews. As a result, I had high expectations, starting with my initial call the same day...and Kenny didn't disappoint me! Kenny answered my call promptly; and with confidence and patience, he answered all of my questions. When I asked about the price, he checked my home on Google Earth while we talked, asked a couple of questions about our roof, and was able to give me an estimate range. He offered to come the next day, and I was thrilled. He called to let me know when he was leaving London; and then while en route, he called to let me know when he would arrive. From the moment that I met Kenny, I felt confident in my decision to hire him, he is obviously a professional. He arrived in a white van with no mention of bats on it, and in no time was ready to start the job. Kenny and Banos are both easy to have around, they are very professional, courteous and quiet, and the neighbours also commented about this. They worked nonstop for about 8 hours, with only a brief lunch break. In that time, Kenny was caulking, filling holes, making sure that flashing beside chimneys was adhering properly, adding mesh inside attic vents... He was able to find a number of places where bats have evidently been getting into the attic. He left one-way vents in those locations, after sealing the areas around them carefully. He also found a place that if it got larger, could let a squirrel in. He took time to make a mesh basket in order to stop this problem. I feel confident that Kenny has thoroughly bat-proofed our home, and we are hoping that within the next night or so, the bats will all have headed outside. We had none visit our living space last night! I was impressed that Kenny was able to stay on the lower side of the price range that he had suggested on the phone. He actually called today to ensure that we are happy, and to ask if we had had any bats come into our living space last night. I am confident that Kenny will stand behind his 5 year warranty, and know that he is just a call away. I know that many people may think that the cost is high, but one needs to consider that they had to drive to Owen Sound from London, and had to deal with a 100+ year old 2-1/2 storey brick house with a very steep roof, and another house that was very close. I read they took calls late at night so I called late one night and got Kenny on the phone He was great answered all my questions assured me he could get rid of our bat problem and guaranteed his work for five years. We live in an old house and when we moved in we had a terrible problem with bats. I tried three other companies first. All of them said they would get rid of the problem. None of them did. And none of them would come back. As soon as I spoke to Kenny, I knew I should have gone to him first. He was excellent. He came right away. It took him about 10 minutes to determine where the bats were coming in, and what needed to be done (none of the other companies even got that far!). He removed the bats in a humane way and we have not had a problem for years, though if we did I know he would come back and fix it. I recommend Kenny without reservation. He is the best there is.

Not only did he arrive quickly, but he did a thorough job of caulking the house and setting up "bat doors" to let the bats escape safely. I called BatsCanada in July of 2018. Kenny explained he was super busy, took my number and said he would call me the following week to book an appointment. I called again at the end of that following week and Kenny said the same thing, that I should expect a call from him the following week. I then waited three weeks to call him again. When I politely spoke with Kenny explaining my situation and that we had spoken previously, he started getting defensive then simply refused my business. Very unprofessional. I would not suggest working with a business that operates this way.

Kenny is very knowledgeable about bats. Our house is not an 'old' house. It is 25 years old brick raised bungalow... 55 feet deep and 25 feet wide. There is a lot of soffit. We had bats flying in the basement family room which is finished except for the furnace room. Also bats flying above our bed at night when we were sleeping and in our living room which has a vaulted ceiling. I checked the attic expecting bats to be hanging from the rafters and could see no bats and no bat droppings on the insulation in the attic. Called Kenny and they set a date and came and checked all the soffits and roof etc., for entry points. He said they were not in the attic but in the walls and coming down into the basement. He found 2 entry points between the soffit and brick and installed tubes for the bats to exit and also caulked all the soffits around the whole house. He installed mesh wire in the weeping holes of the brick above the foundation all around the house. He checked the roof and vents and installed a aluminum box where the slope of the upper roof joins the lower portion although this was not an entry point. It cost $2500 in case you are wondering about the cost. It has been almost 1 year and no bats so far. Guarantee is for 5 years. I was just asked for a referral to remove bats and have recommended Bats Canada for the job.

Last year (2018) we had noticed droppings on the lid of a recycle bin that was placed at the side of my house where bats were entering my home. I phoned Bats Canada and left a message explaining my bat problem. ( I've had bats in my attic previously and spent many hours after dark trying to block the bat entry points with some success. In May of this year we started hearing scatching noises in our bedroom wall and soffits) Kenny returned my call later that evening. Last year we discovered that the many bats we'd seen flying around were living in our house. We found Bats Canada on the internet and were impressed with the 5-year warranty, so we phoned and left a message. Kenny returned our call promptly. Our 100+ year old Victorian-style home has a steel roof with many angles and openings, but they worked diligently, sealed every one, and didn't leave a mess behind in the yard. As promised, the bats left through the "bat doors" they had installed and could not get back in. Our house even felt cozier over the winter with all the gaps sealed. This spring we checked the attic and it was bat-free. They were living in a bat house that we had installed on the outside of our barn, still eating lots of mosquitoes but no longer living in our house. Kenny returned to remove the bat doors, seal the openings, and do a final inspection. Bats Canada did an excellent job and we are very pleased.

I called Ken from Bat Removal late in 2020. I had a problem with bats in the soffits of my house. Ken showed up within a couple of days and installed temporary doors that would allow bats to leave but they could not get back in. They sealed all access around the roof space with caulking and screws. This worked perfectly and we have not seen the bats in the soffits since. I called ken this year to ask if he could come remover the temporary doors and install permanent covers, again he arrived quickly to complete this. I highly recommend them and would gladly call them again if any issues ever arise again.

I found Kenny on a google search after having two bats inside my house in a residential area (new area). He was so professional and knowledgeable. I had first talked to a general wildlife company who tried to scare me to fix my house and then sell it!!! They also wanted twice the price that Kenny was asking. Kenny bat proofed my house, I may have written a review then (July 2014), but just recently I thought I found a dead bat (was in a corner and could not see well) I called Kenny and he was ready to come out the next day. He could not see how one could have gotten in. A friend came by right away to dispose of the rodent and it was a mouse,,,,, no need for Kenny, but it certainly made me feel good to know how he stands by his guarantee. I'm writing this review for Kenny from Bats Canada. We discovered we had bats on a Tuesday. The following day was a holiday. I called Kenny and heard back within an hour. I wasn't sure if his company would service our area since we live in the Midland area and Bats Canada operates out of London, ON. Kenny had no problem with the location, he looked up our house on Google maps while I was on the phone with him, and was able to give me a quote right then. He came to our house at 8am two days later as planned. He was on time, and very professional. He got right to work, and worked all day, only taking one break for lunch. To say Kenny is a hard worker is an understatement. He had all the required equipment to safely work on our metal roof, and that was where the majority of the work was done. It is now a week later, and as expected we have not seen any further signs of bat activity. Kenny was able to remove them from our home in a humane way which left both us and the small brown bat population happy! There were no hidden costs, the quote we were given was accurate. And it was worth every penny. Bats Canada are an expert in the field. We are very happy with the service we received. Kenny will be back in a few weeks' time to remove the one-way bat doors. Fabulous job! We have had bats in our roof for many years and last summer was the last straw. I found Bats Canada online and then spoke with Kenny who immediately assured me he could eliminate the bats from the house. Kenny worked tirelessly from 8:00am to 6:00pm sealing up our entire roof, including garage. The same evening, we watched bats trying to get back in, but they couldn’t. What a relief. We had a problem with bats and called Bats Canada. They were professional from the first contact, asking questions and explaining the problem and the solution. They Google the house and I was given an estimate. Bats Canada was on time and very professional. They sealed the house and blocked off any areas of concern. They are experts so were able to identify where the bats were getting in and installed one way doors in those areas. The sealing was done very well and after the sealant dries you can't tell. Bats were evivicted .. problem solved! Happy customer. While on the roof it was discovered that the squirrels had gnawed through the vent cover. Kenny removed it sealed it up to prevent any damage and told me what to buy as a replacement and he will install it when he comes back to remove the bat doors. Sure enough when he was back he remembered and repaired the vent .. above and beyond what was expected. Fantastic experience. No more bats and my vent fixed. Great service .. use Bats Canada if you want professional service and the job done right

If you're having troubles with your heart...you go to a heart specialist. If you're having trouble with bats...you go to a bat specialist. Originally was going to call a wildlife company for my bat problem. Glad I second guessed myself and called Bats Canada. Bats is ALL they do. Kenny always returned my emails. He worked quickly and efficiently and cleaned everything up. A little worried about removal of bat entry doors and final seal up..when you pay in full for a job without it being finished completely...you always wonder will they actually come back to finish,especially when company is out of town. After an email,Kenny assured me he would come back to finish. I believe Ben came out to finish the job. Perhaps the two partners work together to finish each others jobs if they are in the area.
