Skunk gone! We had a skunk build it's den under our shed beside our patio. This was a concern over how close it was to where we sit. Patrick and Kim did a great job assessing the situation, explaining the options and outcomes and attempting to trap the skunk. When the skunk would not cooperate with the trap, we decided to remove the shed and they did this without damage, extracted the skunk humanely and explained how to rebuild the shed base so that the skunk will not be able to create a den again. First off, I never thought that I would ever need an exterminator at our home as it is less than 5 years old, and is kept impeccably clean and neat. We noticed that small ants were coming in from the patio door. I did a search online and called Abell. The lady on the phone was helpful and made a booking for a tech to come the next day. The next morning the tech arrived 10 minutes early to my home, which was much appreciated. He was clean cut, courteous and in uniform. I showed him where the problem area was by the patio door, and inspected the inside and outside of the home. He identified that the ant problem was a pavement ant, and showed me the area outside where they were coming into the home. He put 4 black plastic traps and some clear drops in the areas, and went out to his truck and put together a mixture of repellent. He sprayed the outdoor area where the ants were coming in, and around the 'entire' outside perimeter of the home and other areas. This was way above and beyond my expectations, as I was not expecting this to be a part of the service. The tech told me that the ants would not come back in, but to keep the traps for 2 months in the area he put them. I am happy to say that I have not seen one ant since. Bottom line, I was absolutely THRILLED with the service. You can be sure that I will be recommending your services to anyone that has pest issues.

I have to give Craig Mendoza from Abell Pest Control a huge Thank you for the services he provided us in 2020 and 2021! We had some uninvited guests running through our basement ceiling,after having this problem the year before. We used a local family owned business peviously. We called them back a year later they had changed hands and been sold to Orkin. Within 2 months our friends (mice)were back. I called the Orkin and they were not helpful whatsoever I had been told my service was guaranteed and then was told that infact it was not. I started calling around to check other companies and THANKFULLY I chose Abell who sent their Durham Rep. Craig Mendoza to my home. Craig had a wonderful disposition! He explained Abells services and excellent warantee. I had a 1 year service and Craig overexceeded my expectations! He returned for followups and offered me his knowledge and experience! He is even a Trainer for the company!! I cannot reccommend Craig enough to neighbours, friends and family and on Facebook and Nextdoor! Its funny, on Nextdoor other people are recommending Craig as well or agreeing because they have used his/Abells services as well! Thank you Craig for making a bad situation, a postive one! I dont want to jinx anything but we have been "pest free" since Craigs service calls and thorough nspection of our home!

Worked for this company for 9 months. Earned 20,000 stealing like everyone else. Everyone is lazy. Everyone is stealing your money. They rather have technicians that are over weight and lazy do half a** jobs and let the physically fit with good morals go. I told my manager that one trainer specifically told me "not to fix the problem because then they won't need you" my manager Adrian Brouwer told me I would never win in politics and that I was trying to impress people because I was doing a good job without being a theif. organic food plants having pesticides applied but not documented. Abell is the most fraudulent company with the most fraudulent technicians/people. Disgusting. Go with a smaller company

I used Abell for their pest services, and not only did they not rid us of the problem after 3 treatments (They said it would only take 2..), their customer service was very poor. After the first treatment I was shocked to return to my apartment in a state of chaos, everything was upturned and because it was done aggressively, there were scratches on the wall and drywall came off. When I contacted them about this they responded by saying that is normal service but they would provide me with mattress covers (which I had already paid for and they did not refund me). Secondly, after receiving the third treatment I still had bugs and I had followed all of their precautions, keeping everything in garbage bags for 8 weeks by the end of it etc. Still had bugs! I then tried to contact them to remedy this, and I called 4 times until they finally called back with no solution. Really poor service, I would not recommend them at all. I normally wouldn't post such a harsh review, especially considering the circumstances but I received service from Addison Pest Control and it was way better than how Abell treated myself and my property.

We have had a problem with rats in our area. I started seeing them during the daytime and by the time that happens, it's a pretty serious problem. I called another company first and they put a bait station in the yard ... came back a month later and refilled it ... then another month later said we were good and took their leave. Less than 1 week later we were seeing rats again. The company said they would come back and charge us for another round.... no thank you. So we contacted Abell. They sent Craig Mendoza from this location and we signed a full year contract with them (about the price of 2 rounds from the "other" guys). Craig double down and put down 2 bait stations, and came back weekly at the beginning as the rats were mowing through the bait quickly. Craig monitored the situation and came back as needed depending on loss of bait. Sometimes that was weekly.... for a while it went to monthly. I'm happy to say by the time our year was up, all we were getting was nibblings from mice (you'll never get all of the field mice outdoors). I absolutely recommend Abell. Craig was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in solving our problem. For a while we had issues with Raccoons getting into the stations and removing the bait. Craig tried multiple ideas with me until we found the best way to keep the raccoons away. Book Abell. Get Craig if you can. And go on a 1yr contract if it's a persistent pest.
