Not a good experience. I should have known better than to accept work from a door to door salesperson. Lied to me about the pests not being killed, but was told they would be repelled away from the home. I now have dead bugs everywhere, especially grasshoppers and crickets. Cannot get someone to cancel my contract. I'm on a tight budget, and told that to the sales guy. He didn't inform me of any cancelation fees when I asked, just said it was a one year contract. Now I'm being told it costs $250 to cancel. So frustrating.

I found this company by happenstance, and I’m SO glad I did! With a brand new baby, I had been panicking about the spiders I was seeing in the garage and occasionally in the house. I assume they have always been this numerous, but my anxiety about the baby getting bit pushed me to finally consider having a company come address the issue. Brandon got me set up for service within the week. He was SUPER friendly to explain the process and all of the insects, and other critters, that the company helps eliminate. On the day of service, Michael was SO friendly! I can’t explain how refreshing it is to interact with someone who seems to enjoy what they do and who genuinely wants to help! Michael made sure to review the process and asked me about my specific concerns. He also reminded me that after the service, I may see more bugs for a couple days as they are trying to leave the treated areas. So far, I’ve seen an increase in DEAD bugs around the outside of my house (which is my favorite kind of bug). I would definitely recommend this WONDERFULLY friendly and informative company.

This service is great! I signed up about a year ago when they came around to our door when our neighborhood was having a massive wasp issue. I’d normally never sign up for anything that comes knocking on my door, but boy am I glad I did! As a major arachnophobe, the treatments (every other month) have made a massive difference in our house. With 3 dogs, it’s been great to have the additional defense against fleas and ticks too. David does our treatments, and he is so friendly and professional every time. He even makes sure to carefully close the gates in the fence, which most workers don’t do (dogs have escaped because of that before). We’re so happy with the service and David. UPDATE (11.13.2020) After leaving the below review (which was 1 star) I received a call from Travis with Romex. Travis is a superb communicator... We discussed my situation and he listened to my concerns, accepted responsibility for the service from others (not his fault) and we came to an agreement. Next Spring I will definitely reconsider using Romex for some pest control. I must say that Travis made things right with the customer and his company. They are fortunate to have this person on their team. Thank You Travis. Job well done!! I signed up for Romex pest control back in April/May of 2020. After listening to the salesman ramble for about 20 minutes, it seemed like a good service. At that time my neighbor signed up as well. The salesman stated that they would be out the next day to perform the first service (Spray the yard, spray the interior of the house, and remove any cobwebs from the exterior). Romex was a day late to the house and when they arrived the technician DID NOT remove the cobwebs. We were not impressed by the service we were assured of by the salesman. My wife called and canceled within a couple of days and all seemed good. November 2020 rolls around and I receive a phone call from Romex stating that I owe them money. I spoke with the kid for about 15 minutes and explained to him we were not that impressed and had canceled the service within a day or so of their first visit. This young man felt the need to argue with me. At that point, I said if I owe you any money send me an email and I will look at it. So, I get an email with a bill attached for $250.00 (read some of the reviews on here and you will see this is a habit this company has). I called their corporate office (11.10.2020) and spoke with Candice. I explained what took place and she looked in "their" notes and said my wife did in fact call and cancel because "she did not like seeing dead bugs" (Really? Isn't that the whole premise behind the company?) After speaking with my wife and asking if she said that, she laughed. Question answered! I requested that Candice listen to the call made to me and she said she would get with her Supervisor and call me back in 15-20 minutes. Today is 11.13.2020 and I am still waiting on that return call. I called them this morning at 1050 and was eventually kicked out of their automated system. THIS IS EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL. I'm sure this review will be met with some ridiculous responses from someone who has no clue what is going on. I will update this review as time progresses.

Dan came to my door to advertise about Romex as he was spraying our neighbors yard and advised that he could get us on the same schedule as them to keep the bugs from flooding to our yard. He provided all the information needed and the price was to go to pass up. Our Technician David came out the next day to spray. I have a fence around my house with an electric gate. I hear a knock at my door and there is a guy standing there. I open the door and he says he is from Romex pest control. I asked him how he got on the property he said he walked through the gate. I stepped out and looked and the gate was closed. He said that he pushed on the gate and it opened a little and he walked in. He then said if i wanted him to leave i just had to ask him. I advised that i did not ask him to come into my yard in the first place and he said for me to not get mad as he does it all the time. I then told him i was going to call the police for trespassing and he hurried out the gate and continued walking down the road.

William came and sprayed our home today. He sprayed the inside and outside or the home. He was very nice and professional at his job. He however did not take care of our problem for the small beetles and spiders getting inside our home. We saw more beetles and spiders in the house than we had seen before he sprayed. I called to let them know we were still having issues and I was not happy with my service. They sent Lance Walker out a couple of days later and we have not seen one beetle or spider in the house. He did a top notch job and sprayed and dusted every crack and crevice he saw. We are very appreciative and grateful for him. I will be asking for him to do our services from here on out. I have used them for 1yr at 1st they were really good and communication which is a big deal to me was really good, now 2x I have scheduled them to come by and they said they will be at my house btwn 12-4 okay, both times I waited all afternoon, no show no call and if someone did call they did not lv a voicemail. with all the spam calls u do not answer just any number u don't know so a voicemail would of been great, I called them the 1st time and gave them the benefit of the doubt, this time was the last straw, it seems like they don't respect you as a customer to have the decency to call you when they aren't coming but yet we are suppose to wait for them. Not a way to run a business and very poor communication, I have also told them to call me but yet they call my husband or text instead. The techs were professional and friendly when they did come by and customer serivce was friendly and not rude but unfortunately I do not recommend going with this company as they don't value you or your time as a customer.

I have a huge wolf spider infestation in my backyard and their quarterly treatments knock my problem out quickly and consistently. Most the reviews for this company are positive but our experience was much different. We had a salesman come to our door and I agreed to have them out for a first service and was told we weren’t locked into a contract at all. When the time came for the appointment we had to reschedule since we were unable to get away from work to go home and have them spray inside as well as outside. We never got a reschedule date from the tech they said the office would call, which I never received a phone call. They had ended up coming out to our home apparently when we weren’t there and charged us $300 for the outdoor spray which was 3x the amount from our previous company and not the amount I agreed to. I agreed to $120 for spray and mosquitos. It looks like the company has had pretty good communication with most their customers I just wish that we had gotten the same treatment from the them. Since I refused to pay such a large bill for a service I didn’t know even happened or not they send it off to a collection agency and I won’t ever use them again. I like to use local businesses but not if they are going to not communicate and then gouge people for refusing to pay a service they don’t have proof even happened but claimed it did. I own and run my own business and it takes a lot for me to want to leave a negative review especially for a fellow local business but I would never have expect payment on jobs I didn’t communicate and get approval on from a customer.

I have used Romex for about five months, and I'm completely satisfied so far. Pests are controlled, and Blayne's professionalism and attention to detail are second to none. My pest control needs are specific to protect my aquatic habitats, bees, and dog. Blayne delivers on this, I haven't lost any bees or fish, and the bugs dropped way off compared to me spraying inside and outside with retail bug spray. I fired Terminix because of the continually rising rates and a constant barrage of phone calls for an upsell and fired Armor because the office and the techs couldn't communicate effectively, resulting in no control of mice and the over treatment of my exterior. Romex provides the kind of pest control I was looking for, mainly because Brayden in sales and my tech Blayne are top-notch at what they do.

I was very happy with the experience as a whole. The technician was friendly, informative, and considerate throughout the entirety of the process. The house had several hot spots of bug activity that I showed the technician which he promptly took care of for me in addition to offering very helpful advice for how to stop future problems. I cannot speak to the results as of yet since I just had the house sprayed today, but I am by no means concerned since even if things aren't gone in the next two weeks, they will come back at no added cost to remedy the issue.
