I hired Eric Benedict through Plunketts on three different occasions and every time he's been stellar. Very reliable and knowledgeable. Most importantly, he takes care of business so my tenants don't have to be terrorized by mice or roaches (my houses are mostly older properties that tend to have these problems). In addition unlike a lot of people in the trades Eric is a clear communicator so I always know when we have an appointment, what are my options, the pricing, etc.

Brian, the service tech, was awesome. However, I was not made aware that we only had 60 days with which to schedule him to come back. So when I called to schedule him, we only could get him back one time (on day #60). $325 for 2 visits is no bargain. With so many good reviews, I have to believe they’re good at dealing with pests OTHER than moths. I paid $100 for their technician to tell me exactly what I already found through a Google search. We have previously used another company to come take care of the massive mouse problem we have in our basement. Finally, we ended up just redoing the basement because we couldn’t find all the holes the mice were coming in. To our astonishment, after redoing the basement, we found evidence of mice. Seem professional and like they know what they are doing but when I explained we had mice (which we thought we had because we didn’t know any better) they set up several bait stations and checked back to see if there was activity. There was some activity but it didn’t make sense because a hole was chewed in my wall, they chewed through water lines on my fridge.. I explained this and they still set up for mice. Turned out we have rats. They now ruined our oven and have chewed through our dishwasher line. I reached out and they said it’s more money for rats. Although they probably should have known it was rats from what I told them, they didn’t look around the home or anything to check for themselves. Also checked our crawl space and saw daylight coming through from the outside, so it clearly wasn’t filled properly when he went around the home to seal any potential openings. Hi, Colleen From Fantasy Gifts here, we have used Plunkett's for decades at our stores and warehouse, our warehouse is near a marsh and several stores are near restaurants so even though there is nothing to attract critters in our stores we can get them and they are always prompt and the techs are great, I used then at my home when I had those teeny ants in the basement before I sealed everything up. Great experience with Plunkett's even though there was no need for the service. I called different companies for the treatment of what I thought was carpenter bees in my deck, but all of them refuse to check because they do not have bees in the pest list. When I called Plunkett's, the person answering the call was so kind and understood my concern, and said that they were able to help me, she proposed a window of time for the technician to visit me, and Nate (tech) came exactly at the expected time. He checked the deck and also saw the bees, and identified that the insects were no carpenter bees, he explained to me the difference with the regular bees, and showed me pictures from his ipad. After checking and realizing there was no need to control the bees, he explained to me the situation and did no charge for the visit. Nate was very professional and gave me his card in case i get into trouble with the bees. 5 Stars

Came home from working a double shift to find a home that looked like I had been robbed. Most cupboards open, all pillows, blankets and sheets (including fitted sheets) crumpled and hanging off my bed, couch cushions barely put back into place, dresser drawers wide open with the bottom one not even fully attached, lights on, etc. I was taking an inventory of my belongings when I found the little sheet of paper saying that they had been by while I was gone. Paper also said that there had been no dusting of mattresses or furniture, so why was everything strewn about? I'm exhausted and I have to be up for my next shift at work in another 6 hours that i'm now using to put my bed back together and yes, write this review. I knew they were coming sometime this week, but I didn't realize they would be sending a tornado instead of a technician.

The technician was nice and everything, but um not paying for nice. I was charged $104 for someone to come out and tell me i had to find someone to figure out where the mice were coming in under the house. The guy never even inspected the inside of my house for holes in any room. He spent 5 min walking around the outside and said he couldn't see where they were coming from. I even told him they may be coming in from behind washer and dryer and his response was "yeah could be". He didn't even look to see. I also had 2 dead mice in traps and he never even bothered to get rid of them. I was told he could put bait traps down and check on them every 3 months for $400. I can buy the same traps online for $2 a piece and throw them down myself! I don't want dead mice rotting away for 3 months! Why on earth would anyone pay for that service?

Was told the mice were coming through my backdoor. I don't think that's where they were coming from based on where the techs left traps. 3 or 4 month program and I still had mice afterwards with no explanation on how to stop it besides calling a tech out again. Update I went to the property myself, to see if I could spot anywhere the mice were coming in. I could see where their techs had caulked the foundation. When I got down on my hands and knees I saw everything they missed. So if you were just walking and looking down at the foundation you wouldn't see holes. I understand some were over the size that they said they filled. But there were numberous cracks/holes that I was never made aware of. I will go back to the property this weekend and post pictures as well.

The traps have yet to get a single mouse yet my indoor-only cat brings one down from the attic fairly often. Our “sealing” was laughable and far from thorough— a quarter-sized hole had a pinch of stainless steel loosely shoved in there with no sealant, a few globs of caulk were found splattered near and around some other small holes. No one has checked back on us despite being told they’d be back every few weeks. I guess we got what we paid for. I’m not writing this to be spiteful, rather a warning for people going with the cheapest option. We absolutely regret it.

Pretty disappointed. We ended up paying over $400 for them to trap raccoons that had gotten into our attic. They never caught the raccoons, but the price was still the same. I would think there would be a discount on the total price if they don't catch the animals. They also did not inspect the attic. I would think for that price it would be more than just setting traps every day to no avail. Just expect that your issue may not be resolved and to pay an exorbitant amount for the amount of labor provided. EDIT: 1 year later, the racoons came back to our house. We bought a live trap and were able to trap all 3 racoons in 3 days. They were not able to trap any of them. I would never use a service like this again. It's a complete ripoff.

Since I bought my house I had them perform an inspection and got into their year-round program. Called for removal of a live wild animal I caught on my property, was told it was 125 dollar trap transfer fee, decided to check around, couldn't find anyone else to do it so I called back 2 days later, now was told 250 dollars. Asked why it was now double the price, was told the last person must have made a mistake. I use orkin for all my insect problems and have had really good luck with them, unfortunately they dont remove wild animals so I decided to try these guys. Will never call them again.

The neutral: the gentleman that did the service appeared up early and because it house was "to cluttered and we have many Kids" he was unable to do any treatment inside and his outside treatment was done in about 10 minutes. He also called about 3 days later to ask if we saw anymore ants. We didn't so that was it. The bad: well for my $200 I expected to remain ant free till next spring. much to my dismay I've now had invasions of these same small black pavement ants (I think cause we weren't told what they were) in my bathroom and my living room (they weren't even in my living room this spring!) Over the course of a month. They treated in May. By the end of August we had them back in the house. Never was I offered any advice to help keep them out. I wasn't told where They might be coming in. They weren't identified. For that kind of money (cause it was almost double the other guy) I didn't expect to be figuring out how to treat ants in my home by myself again this year. I Will not be using them again. Maybe next spring I can find someone willing to do $200 worth of service that actually lasts.

I am still having issues with rodents, mice and spider after my 1 year of service agreement that included inspection and spraying my home at least, 4 times within the 1 year contract. I paid for the year because I wanted to make sure that I took care of the problems, but as mention before, I'm still having the same issue with the pests. The technician was great and he is the reason why it took me a month to leave a review. Also I received an email doing the beginning of COVID saying my home was just serviced and it was not, just the outside was done according to the customer service and I'm still not sure if that really happened. Plunketts did a great job finding the way mice were entering my attic on their first visit. They sealed up that entrance and I have not seen any evidence of more mice in the attic. However, they are still coming into the basement. Plunketts service people sealed up possible mice entry holes into the basement but the mice are clever and continue to find their way in. The service people came to my house four times after my initial payment. They suggested I sign up for their service plan, but they werent pushy when I hesitated. I liked working with them and would call them again if I had pest problems in the future.
