Extremely unprofessional walked into my home and got upset that I had a few glasses in the cabinet before pest treatment I told him I’d remove them which would take me seconds as I had just moved in. Pest tech began screaming at me in my home and stated that I don’t listen and that I don’t follow directions. He was also very adamant about me not being home, which raised a few red flags, although I would have gladly left once treatment started. He’s a short pest tech with a scruffy beard didn’t catch his name he then left my home without work being completed still screaming at me. I have video monitoring all around my home which recorded the entire encounter I can’t say I’m displeased with the company but definitely not happy with the people they hire.

We initially brought them in to address ants and bats...then a nest of white faced hornets put me into the ER . I bought the 27 foot wasp spray but chickened out considering that if I screwed up I could die! I called NW Pest Control to gt a price and they informed me that my maintenance contract for the ants covered me for the hornets. They sent a tech that Saturday, who dealt with 2 soccer-ball sized nests plus about 5 little ones at various points. That tech said he would schedule a follow up for the worst nest. Good thing he did because the follow up visit found there was still some activity in the big nest. He killed the last of the hornets and removed the nest. All covered by the maintenance contract. They are literally life savers!

I contact NW pest control for mice problem during morning, and John responded to me very quickly and came over the same day afternoon. He showed up with his son Paul. They checked both exterior and interior, provided a detailed inspection and explained everything to me patiently. They identified 8 potential entrances in total, and they setup all the baiting and finished proofing works. The whole process is easy, transparent and smooth. They are very professional, kind, and easy to communicate. Highly recommend!

NW Pest Control is the best! I was having a big issue with mosquitos and ticks at my house. After signing up for their monthly maintenance plan, they came out that day and treated my yard. I saw results immediately. I went from not being able to go outside without getting bit to being able to enjoy my yard without even having to spray myself with bug spray! When I called to schedule an appointment, they insisted I be there to let them in, so I found time where I could miss work. They showed up at the house, never called me or rang the doorbell, looked around outside and left. When I called the office, they "had no idea" why I was waiting to let them in. Said they could do all the work from outside. They had no consideration for my time. Will not be using them again.

Scheduled an appointment for inspection / estimate to have work done on Friday 4 May at 9:36 am. Was given a window of 3-6 on Monday 7 May to be available for the appointment. Took off work early and rescheduled sports practice, only to have no one showup. Called the office and found out I was never even put in their system. Very frustrating having people waste your time / money due to their lack of attention and customer service.

One of the receptionists I unfortunately had to deal with was beyond rude and completely unwilling to help. When someone in a customer service position responds with: “I’m not really sure what you want me to do for you” Id say that’s a clear sign that some major training needs to take place. When I called back to speak to someone different they were able to instantly help and send me the documents I was looking for... Shocking! Aside from that one customer service representative (unfortunately didn’t catch her name) everyone else was pleasant to deal with. Hopefully management can correct this for other future clients experiences with this woman.

I have used NW Pest Control numerous times at my home and my rental properties. Brad and his crew are not only honest but very thorough. Three times now they discovered that my suspected issue was actually not an issue at all, or a much smaller and far less expensive problem than was expected. They also handled a very difficult tenant with professionalism and great tact. They are my "go to" for pest control. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Updated Aug 28th, 2015 I got a call from the owner, and that it was a misunderstanding by the receptionist. The $90 does cover the following 3 month period (until Nov), after which the service will end. It makes sense, the owner called and explained the situation and seemed sincere. --------------------------------- Original review Aug 28th, 2015 Terrible service. Avoid at all costs. I canceled an annual contract before the renewal date (canceled in Aug, it was supposed to renew in Sep). Yet, I got charged $90, and was informed that I wouldn't get the service either. You can't have the money w/o providing the service.

I called nw pest control for an estimate. They said they could have someone out for an estimate two days later but would need a 4 hour window. I thought that was a bit much of a time frame for an estimate but I accepted. I took the day off to wait and have them give me the estimate. The window was 12-4 pm. At 1:30 I had called to check in to see if they where thinking it was going to be on the later half (maybe I could get something done this day). They said they could not get ahold of the inspector. At 3:50 I called back to see if the inspector was on his way, they called him and said that he was to far away to come today and that I was not in his paper work for the day. This company wasted my time and I would not recommend them to anyone.

We had a bat flying around our first floor 2 times in a week. We called NW Pest Control and they came right out and looked all around, quoted a price and came out shortly after we accepted. They put in 1 way doors so the bats could get out but not return and capped our chimneys. I waited a few weeks before posting to make sure it was successful, and I'm happy to report that it was. The price was reasonable, the service was excellent and the people I dealt with were nice and very helpful. A great company to deal with.

I really like the service but because my landlord wouldn't call the place to have them spray I was only able to get someone to come out and tell me what was in my apartmenr. That's why they're getting a three because they would not call the landlord for me and my landlord would not call them therefore I had to find a place that would do it without my landlord's permission. The kicker was, I am responsible for Pest Control because I live in a single-family dwelling and Northwest would not take the time to understand that either.

Never answers emails. Send a different one each month for several months with no responses. They leave traps with unfilled out labels no date of insulation ect... Did not see them put any pesticide or traps for cockroaches, just some squeeze paste them called bait. Spaces like in between cabinets doors above counter tops were food preparation is done. Pest situation has not improved. When they came they rushed themselves, like they did not want to be in building in first place. Like they low balled themselves on a bid to do my building and they were really feeling regret. Given the lack of communication and the vib more likely never see them again. Wish things went better and or they were responsive, tentative, informative to improve quality and understanding of service.

I have called on the NW pest team several times in the last few years. The techs that come out are always on time, kind, and extremely knowledgeable. My first experience was with signs of termites. They were able to eliminate any further signs of termites and installed an in ground system to continue to keep them at bay. 3 years later and some periodic check up services and we still have not seen any signs. They also have helped us eliminate issues with ants and spiders. Pest control is one thing you don’t want to cut corners on. I can’t speak highly enough of NW Pest! If you have a pest problem, they solve it!

I had a major mouse infestation. NW was referred to me by a friend, but they use them for annual bug spraying. I paid the fee and they put bait boxes round the outside of my house, my basement and in certain areas inside (under stove, sink, etc.). They came out a couple of weeks later to check the boxes. The boxes inside the house were untouched and only 2 out of 5 of the outside boxes had been slightly nibbled at. The came again after a couple of week, same situation. In the meantime, the mice are taken over my house, chewing inside my walls, making holes thru my walls, up thru my wood floors, you name it. I called them again and a rep came out and he agreed that the boxes weren't working and offered no other solution other than to "be patient". I told him I no longer needed their services, basically firing them. It has been almost two years since this incident and they keep sending me invoices to pay. I explained to them that I PAID them, they didn't resolve my problem and I canceled their services. I should have requested a refund since their methods did nothing to solve my problem, let alone help it. Any reputable business guarantees their work and ensures customer satisfaction. Not this company. They actually have the audacity to want even more money from me. FYI, I had to take measures into my own hands and build a better mouse trap. I found bait on eBay that the mice actually ate, I sealed all the interior gaps in my house (heating pipe openings, etc.) with steel wool AND spray foam insulation. But before I did that, I filled all the opening with the bait. Keep in mind that mice will eat thru foam insulation, but it helps you to easily see where they've broken through so you can fix it. After a while, the maggot flies came. Hundreds of them. Gross, I know, but there was no other way. Over time I got most of their openings, but there were a few I couldn't find. But what I did know was their path, so I blocked it with large glue strips. The whole ordeal was awful and the process gruesome and traumatizing but in the end I won.

Tech sprayed my exterior windows , doors, and siding, plants etc with pesticide without telling me what he was doing. I had just washed my windows. I’ve used NW Pest for almost 4 years and no tech had ever done this before. This guy said he does it differently and he was more knowledgeable than the other guys. I cancelled my contract with them.

John and his son were amazing. John answered my crazy questions promptly all weekend and dealt with my panicking about a possibly mice/rat situation. We made a plan for an initial inspection and they came out first thing. They both explained everything to me, walked around the whole house and yard thoroughly and set the right plan up for me. After thoroughly explaining the plan and why it would be the best they set the traps up right then and there. They also did not try to swindle me into anything I did not need and were not pushy. Worst company I've ever seen.......waited 4 hrs for them .....had to call them to find out what's up...receptionist hung up on me. Called back to talk to owner she wouldn't take my call. Tech guy showed up and told me if I gave him check he would be back tomorrow. He came back sprayed 10 cents worth of chemical and was gone in 5 minutes.......didn't even spray foundation for ants.,......worst company I've ever dealt with.....
