I suspected I had bed bugs. I asked around people for recommendations and a college friend suggested hug pest. I called them up and asked them a lot of questions. The customer service rep was friendly and told me about bed bug encasement bags. I bought one bag and it came with a lifetime warranty! I checked some bags to compare prices from walmart etc and found out that the bags that hug pest is selling have a no-rip 10 year warranty and that was a huge bonus to buy. I have one bag from them and my sleep has gotten a lot better. No more skin rash or whatever I was getting during sleep.

We bought a new house with 1acre land and a house that is 60 years old. The place was infested with rats and all kinds of creatures. Often they would get into the kitchen cabinets. The hug group did an amazing job with overall clean up. The guys were efficient, fast and explained to us in great detail how to deal with the problem. We had a problem with wasps which had infiltrated our house bricks and made a nest in the walls of our bungalow and were coming inside our home. From calling the number to talk to Gord for a consultation, he was very easy to talk to and very knowledgeable about pest control. My family rental property in Toronto was infested with bed bugs. I contacted the company and was greeted by Gordon over the phone. Gordon was great with providing all the information on what to do, how to prevent another investation, as well as answering any other questions I had. During the extermination process, I had the pleasure of meeting Gordon, Hassan, and Alberto. They were very professional and kind to my family and I. Gordon and his team went above and beyond and was willing to spend additional time to speak with other tenants to ensure they are aware of why bed bugs occurred and how to prevent it. The previous company (Addison Pest Control) we hired did two exterminations and left without ever contacting us back or answering our calls when the infestation reoccured. There are companies out there that will do a simple extermination and leave quickly without keeping tabs or responding to their clients. On the other hand, Gordon went above and beyond and was willing to spend the additional time explaining and teaching the tenants including my family which I found thoughtful. Even prior to my family agreeing to the extermination, Gordon spent a fair bit of time explaining and helping me over the phone to ease my worries. The company sells encasement to protect mattresses from bed bugs at a good price in case anyone needs them to stop bed bugs from inhabiting the bed. During the extermination, everyone will need to vacate the premises for safety reasons. After the extermination, I was given some powder that was non toxic to use on surfaces and beddings after the extermination to kill any remaining bed bugs once they come into contact with the powder. We haven't seen activity anymore and hopes that it stays that way. I've called multiple companies in the past and notice that there are dishonest ones that prey on the consumer's fear of infestations and overcharge an insane amount to those who experience infestations for the first time. The pricing Gordon offered me to exterminate the home is cheaper than other exterminators and I find that the HUG Group prices their exterminations fairly and competitive. If you choose to find an exterminator, I highly reccomend that you contact Gordon, Hassan, or Alberto and they should be able to resolve your worries. My family has had poor experiences from other exterminators before but we were glad to have contacted the HUG Group. If my family ever experiences any infestations again, we would definitely contact The HUG Group again.

When we recently found several dead wasps inside our basemen, we called HUG Pest Control. Gord, one of their senior techs, arrived quickly and did an intensive explore of our home. He found an enormous black nest of wasps inside our large breaker (fuse) box in our rec room. They had been coming in through a small opening along where the electrical cable came in from the outside. If we had opened the door to the box to check on a breaker switch, hundreds of wasps could have swarmed out throughout the house. Very scary!!! Gord covered the box, killed the wasps, removed and discarded the nest and closed up this hole to the outside as well as any other holes from the outside brick walls. We're so pleased with HUG's service timely and efficient response and recommend HUG highly.

Our pantry/laundry room plus the adjoining bath room and hallway became infested with grain beetles. We arranged for a pest control treatment from another company which after 2 perimeter sprayings did not get rid of them. Our contractor suggested HUG Pest control. We called them and they arrived in about an hour. Their technicians ended up carrying out three aggressive treatments before the pest problem was solved. HUG's service was great: friendly technicians who were very professional and knowledgeable. Terrible customer service and very bad attitude of Mr Gordon. Charged us for full service prior to Covid just came for inspection once and then started avoiding calls, we understand Covid restrictions but the only time he received the call was when it was from a different number. Once you have paid it will be very difficult getting in touch, so can't comment if the service is good. When we finally get in touch with him a lot of sighing on phone, not a question of 250 dollars, but a big question on integrity of your business

Gordon Walsh - name you should write in your address folder. I had bed bugs. I have a very good idea where and how they came from, but that doesn't solve the problem of getting rid of them. The kids were eaten. Just awful. My soon-to-be-wife also bitten. Horrible. I replaced almost everything. You name it - I bought new. King sheets/duvets/everything - at least 3 times. Big money. No results. Gordon came in, walked me through it, educated me, and after 2 applications, I know we are 100%. On the recent August long weekend, on a Sunday no less, Gordon texted me around 8pm, out of the blue, wondering how the kids were. He texted me 3 days later, just checking. If you are looking for someone Professional, who actually gives a damn, who knows what they are doing, Gordon is your man. It's the best money you will spend.

I travel a lot and always scared to pick up bed bugs and bring them home. And then it happened - after I stayed in a hotel ; and I brought them home. A few weeks later I saw bites on my legs. Then I caught a live bug in my bed. I was scared and started calling pest control companies for help. I got some weird answers until I reached HUG Pest Control and a very nice guy with a calming voice helped me calm down. I decided to get HUG to carry out the pest control for me. I had this company come out to my place of business to take care of bed bug problem we were having a very difficult time with. I am very pleased with the service provided by HUG Group Pest Control. Noticed an insect problem in my house, and no amount of Raid bug spray, vacuuming or cleaning eliminated them. I came across HUG after reading all the amazing reviews, and I'm so glad I did! I spoke to Gordon over the phone, and he was very patient, informative and walked me through the procedure and cost I was looking at for this type of issue. I was able to send a few pictures and videos of the insects I saw, and Gordon was able to identify the type of bug as beetles through the entomologist on his team. The booking and treatment itself was very quick and efficient following that. Hassan completed the treatment very thoroughly throughout the house, and within a week there is a HUGE improvement. We followed the advice both of them gave as to what we could do on our end to improve the situation as well. And as a result, there are no clusters of beetles nor any noticeable insects at all following the treatment! I'm very impressed, and highly recommend this team for any pest control issues.
