We hired their services a few years back and were very pleased. Recently, We called them again and were told that there was a change of stuff. I sent them pictures of what we saw as a problem and later discuss possible solutions. My overall impression was that I am dealing with honest upright people who will not take advantage of you. I was given some advice on the phone but was told that they cannot identify the problem and therefore will not be wasting my time and money. They could have easily charge us for the advice. They could have booked a visit and charge for it. Instead , they told the truth and did their best over the phone. This is one company I will employ without hesitation.

We called in September for a wasp nest removal in the front garden. The website says $145 but my wife was given a bill for $200. A month later, I received my credit card bill and saw they charged us $1200!!! I have lost count of the number of calls we have placed to them. They won't call back. When we do reach someone, we get promises that someone will come by with a cheque or with cash, but repeatedly no one comes. We have reported them to the credit card company and preparing a report for Police and a civil suit. UPDATE: I have reached a company owner who was shocked and apologetic. The overcharge was rectified within hours, as well as reciprocation for the time and frustration. Based on this followup, i believe this was an unfortunate and unusual experience. I would consider using this company in future, should the need arise.

Called to have a wasp nest removed. They built the nest under the sofit on the house. Over the phone he said it was 200 to use a ladder for second story of house. Informed him he can stand on the garage so they had charged me 140. Think its silly to charge 60 dollars to pull a ladder out. Embo shows up and the guy said he can't get on the garage he does not have the tools. He did not bring any ladders. They will have to come back with his other truck. The following day another service shows up All corners pest control. He got out a normal step ladder and climbed on the roof sprayed some powered and left. 4 days later wasps are still flying around. Can't get a hold of embo and all corners bills me 200. Save your money and just call skedaddle wildlife they do pest control for bugs also. More money but are professional.

A friend of mine in the Hamilton area needed his bug problem solved. I didn't really know anyone out there so I took a chance on these guys. I'm not sure what some of the others are mentioning below about the poor quality (maybe a disgruntled employee?) they were quick, good priced and were patient dealing purely with me over the phone and giving all the details I expected to get to help my friend who has trouble with this type of stuff.

I have been an Embo Pest Control customer for several years. Recently my cottage property had a flying ant invasion inside. I contacted Embo and they responded to my property within an hour. Once there they determined the source and treated that area and the problem was OVER. They did not spray the entire cottage with unnecessary sprays. They found the source and eliminated the problem.

Embo was hired to get rid of bed bugs in my small one bedroom apt. I was hesitant at first because i didn't have a problem. They insisted and came in and heated the apt. I didn't want pesticides so they said the heat would get rid of them, even though I said I had none. The next day, I started to see bed bugs, and it's been hell ever since. They've been here 6 times and I'm still getting bit. They continued to make excuses, and even blamed me for the problem. They did one or two other apts. at the time, because they were complaining of having bugs. The only thing that I can figure out, is that they, Embo brought the bugs in with them most likely in their equipment. I would not recommend this company to anyone

landlord called embo pest control to remove massive infestation of bedbugs and cockroaches. the 1st time they came they did the heat treatment, which is basically using propane heaters to raise the tempature in the apartment to about 180 degrees f. this did not solve the problem of the bed bugs and it seemed to make the problem of the cockroaches even worse. at this time he said he did not bring the nessecary spray for the cockroaches. 2nd time he did not use heat treatment or steam he used boric acid diatomaceous earth and again this did not get rid of the bed bug or cockroach problems. 3rd time again he used his spray of boric acid and diatomaceous earth. and again we are still seeing massive amounts of cockroaches and bedbugs. meanwhile i can and have been using boric acid, diatomaceous earth, steam, vacuming, and every other method of removing these pests for over 9 months with no results. this company was late to every scheduled appointment, unprofessional, and has yet to get ride of the problems in 3 seperate visits that span a 2 month period.

There was also another problem I had that I thought was the same pest and he said it wasn't and gave me suggestions and what to do for different things. He is very helpful. We were horrified to find a rat in our basement. With a newborn baby in the house, it was especially troubling. EMBO came and set up some locked bait boxes..a few weeks later we found a dead rat in the basement. Upon checking the bait box, the technician showed us which bait box the rat fed from and kindly refilled it to our satisfaction.

Excellent service! Had mices inside the walls and vents. Embo pest control came and left poison inside the vents. Most of the mices were killed within few days. Called EMBO Pest again to give them an update. They came by again and covered more places to put the rat poison without any extra cost. Highly recommended!

We hired this guys for pest control of cockroaches. After you paid full amount than it's very hard to contact them. They are not communication well. We have to keep calling and send an emails, still we are not getting any responses. I would say better to pay hakf for six months and remaining half for bext six months becouse once you paid full and if you want service back from them than no success. I m Not recommending this embo pest control. It's better to pay more to someone else and get proper service.

I used Embo Pest Control to solve a wasp problem - I had no idea of the size of the colony that had invaded my home. All it took was one application and problem was gone. It took a couple days to see the results, but the treatment did work. Today Embo came back for a second problem and installed a one way door for raccoons as they had torn open my roof vents. Both times they were prompt and reasonably priced, I highly recommend them.

Embo Pest Control was on time, polite and effective. I had a very active stream of yellow jackets entering under the siding at the top of my brick. I tried a foaming wasp spray from the top of a ladder twice with little success so I called Embo because a friend recommended them. They treated the entry point with a powder that the wasps would track into their nest and said they'd be back if the rain washed it away. It didn't rain and the wasps were gone within a day. I'll call them again in a flash.

A month ago we called about a mouse problem at our house. We were referred to him by my sister-in-law as he has been to their place for the same problem a week before. He was very prompt in showing up the first time and said that if we see any signs to call him back and he would be out within 24 hours. I called on a Sunday afternoon and was told that he would be by on Wednesday (well over 24 hours), but he never showed up. Thhat was 3 weeks ago. I have tried to contact him multiple times since then and he doesn't answer or return my calls. When my wife was able talk to him, he told her that he had already set up a time with me, which he hadn't. I have given him enough chances now. Next call this afternoon is to the OPP to report this fraudster.

Firstly,on Dec 11th 2016, 2 men came to my home to exterminate or poison the mice i had, i think they were here all of 15 minutes putting little black boxes down . Two weeks later i still have mice, i have called the fella that came the first time umpteen times , he finally said he would be here today Jan 2 between 10 & 12 noon....He still isnt here , i called him earlier and he said he would call me back. STILL hasnt happened!!! I would like to speak to the boss of this company before i have to call the BBB again............. ty for your time to whoever reads this. Today Jan 3 2017 they were to be here between 10-12 am, not happening no one has turned up. Do they just expect me to stay in everyday listening to mice, not gonna happen either . does anyone know a number where i can reach the boss of this company, all i keep getting is the guy that was here in the first place..............................If i have to use the bbb again i shall!!!!!!!!!!!!!
