I hired CleanStart BC to haul away detritus from a shipment of goods I received at my residence. My experience was optimal from start to finish. The office staff communicated clearly and efficiently. The crew arrived right on time; they were kind, professional, and worked quickly, finishing in half the time I had estimated, despite bad weather. They helped me carry heavy items from the shipment into my house, taking care to protect floors from dirt and scrapes. After they hauled everything away, they found an important document among the junk, and dropped it back off at the end of the workday. That gave me a chance to give them more packing materials to haul off. Throughout it all, they were masked and did their best to observe WorkSafe BC COVID protocols. Overall, I would recommend them highly for all your hauling and clean-out needs.

Found a link to this service through the City of Port Coquitlam website. This was a great experience from start to finish. Communication was quick and Alec was awesome to deal with. The team arrived on time in a professional looking vehicle and efficiently carried out the task. CleanStart BC is a company that cares. They do the same work as some other companies out there but there is a big difference. Right from the first inquiry, I was treated very well and my questions were answered. They picked up on my schedule, not insisting it had to fit theirs - which was the experience I had with 2 other companies in Vancouver. Also, their price was the best. The pick up team was actually early and were very kind and respectful. All around - CleanStart BC is my first choice!!

Awesome service!! Garry, the driver and the person who cleans up the junk, arrived on time, even earlier than expected. He was very courteous, friendly and helpful. I was shocked when I came home after cleanstart had done their job in my rental in Woodward's. I had spent days and nights sorting and organizing what I wanted to keep and what could go. I spent hundreds of dollars on totes and clear plastic containers for items that I obviously wanted to keep, not throw out. Other items to keep went into clear plastic bags, or were identified by type, for instance carvings, paintings, this table and all the items on it, luggage behind the bed, the stools beside the bed with these labeled bags on it. I thought I had done my job itemizing, packing, labeling and identifying, and thought that discretion being the better part of valour, it would be obvious that certain items that were perhaps hidden such as cold beer and wine in the fridge, a late model MacBook Pro computer wrapped in plastic and kept under the desk or a tabloid-transformer in a day pack, a MEC courier bag with content, any other high ticket item or items in a new tote with content is likely just missing the green 'to keep' sticker. Well, do not count on that and don't underestimate your prep time.

Gave 5 stars for the great service from the guys who came to pick up the junk. Sad I didn’t get to really organize more things to get rid of. When they came to my door I had already put out the junk that I had called into the customer service rep to check was enough. She had told me that it was more than 3 cubic yards but when the guys came they said it was only 1 yard! I had to scramble to throw out everything else last minute. I didn’t even make it to 3 cubic yards and still have things to get rid of. Thankful for the guys for being so patient since I wasn’t prepared which I feel so bad for. I got a groupon and was a great deal but with still things left to get rid of I’ll have to buy another groupon...
