Wasps under the front steps Sent an email to OWLS for an estimate to get rid of wasps under our front cement steps and received a reply two hours later that it could be done the same day with a estimate we were happy with. Nate came by and got to work clearing out the wasps. He was very thorough and we have yet to see any wasps around that area and we're in the process of filling it in now. Nate has a wealth of information and was quick to answer any questions and give explanations for what was being done. He also noticed there were some carpenter ants crossing our driveway and even took a look at our trees to see if they were setting up in them. We're now very aware of that and keeping an eye to see if we'll have any problems.

I recently purchased a new home and discovered I got far more than I bargained for. It seemed that a family or two of cute little field mice was already living there and had been for some time. They weren't into the food or anything yet but winter was fast approaching and I knew they had to go. A quick check on the internet for pest control brought up OWLS so I gave them a call. The owner, Nate Foster, was there the next day and did one of the most thorough inspections i've ever seen. He pointed out all the obvious access points but then managed to find at least a dozen more where I would never have thought to look. Nate then took the time to explain the behavior patterns of the mice and how to best go about evicting them and keeping them out. Nate was back the next day and spent at least 8 hours filling and sealing every last hole in the house and gave me a 3-year guarantee that they wouldn't be back. In the two weeks after Nate did the work I managed to humanely trap the mice that were remaining in the house and i'm happy to say I haven't seen any sign of one since. Nate is 100% one of the most professional tradesmen i've ever had to deal with. He is one hard-working individual who takes great pride in his work and is also one of the nicest people i've met in a long time. He provided professional advice and after installing a one-way door to prevent the squirrel from returning, he did an amazing job repairing the damage to the wood moulding on our heritage home. Nate has helped me out on three different occasions recently. Two rat problems and one bed bug problem (2015 was a bad year). He solved each problem quickly and efficiently and is very knowledgeable in how best to remove the problematic pest(s). I contacted Nate about a mice problem in May 2017 initially, he got back to me leaving a voice mail about 3 weeks later and I never followed up figuring I'd get in touch later in the summer. I called him in early September and spoke with him and he said he'd call me back but did not. I then called again a day or two later and got Nate on the phone. He said he'd come right over to take a look. He's a nice guy and enthusiastic, he seems to know his stuff and said he'd drop a written estimate the same day for the work I needed. I pinged him several times with text and he said he'd get back to me. I'm still waiting and still have mice. I really wanted Nate to work out but my wife stated it very well - it seems like when he is 'on' he is very good but he is often 'off' and hopeless. I'm guessing that is why you see such polarized reviews here.

Nate was amazing - he took our request as an emergency call and even came out late at night[after a full days work]. By the tiem he had finished all the unwelcome wasp visitors were gone and their nests destroyed. His calm and 'jokey' personality defused the panic and he was extremely efficient in carrying out the task... To exterminate our wasps he needed to be able to get high up on the roofline of a 2 storey house and both my neighbour and I have garden furniture, decks, fences, gazebo's and even a hot tub close to the house which made it difficult for him to access the wasps. However, this wasnt a problem for him at all, he worked around the garden clutter and he left our yards exactly as he found them. I especially liked that he uses more organic methods for wasp extermination so we didnt have to worry about exposing our house, families and pets to harsh or toxic chemicals. I know that Nate will understand when I say that I really hope that I never have to see him again :-) BUT.. if I ever experience any kind of pest problem in the future his company will be the first people I call.

We called OWLS for raccoon problem in the basement. At first they responded promptly and visited the house on the same day. The first service was exceptional, but once the problem re-appeared 2-3 days later he never wanted to acknowledge that the problem was back! He said that it was impossible that some raccoons were still in the basement. After days of calling he finally said that he would come back... Same story day after days, but he NEVER came back! Don't trust these guys! Once you give them money, they don't care anymore. This is not the type of company that you want to deal with.

Nate - the owner of OWL - set himself apart as being one of the only rodent proofing providers who was able to come to my house, do a thorough inspection, and then provide a quote for his services. I can honestly say I never met a person like him. Ever. The day I called him regarding the mice issue, the same evening he was at my house doing the inspection. The same night he sent me the quote and the next morning he was at my house rodent proofing my entire home. My wife is extremely petrified of anything that lives outside that finds its way into homes whether it's bugs, rodents etc... Nate was able to reassure her that not only the mice issue would be resolved but that the service he provides comes with a 3year warranty which no other company provides. Anyone who encounters pests problems, OWLS pests control is the way to go. The quality of service provided is above formidable. Nate and his employees are extremely friendly and take pleasure in satisfying their customers. I honestly feel I formed a great bond with them which is rare nowadays. I recommend this company above all others. 5 stars is the maximum rating which is unfortunate because this company deserves 10!!!

Based on the results, I opted to proceed with rodent proofing the premises, although there was no sales pitch for this service. Work was completed same week. OWLS is the company to hire! Don't make the mistake of contacting someone else! I had a raccoon in my attic and called various companies to compare services and rates. I got many high priced quotes with wait times of several days to even get someone out to my home to solve the problem. I phoned OWLS and Nate immediately picked up the phone and came out to help me. He installed a one way door and within 48 hours - problem solved! During the whole process he continuously contacted me to know the status of the situation and had lots of knowledgeable advice - this guy truly cares! No problem, wait until the next day, comes and provide the treatment and said there would be a guarantee for 6 months. Had mice in our attic last winter and wanted to stop them from entering our house before the cold weather arrived. I sent an email in the morning and recieved a call one hour later. He was able to come to my house that evening. Extremely knowledgeable, he identified all the areas that mice could enter. Recieved a free quote with no pressure. Very reasonable price. I ended up using him and was very satisfied. He did a great job,very thorough. Ended up being a lot more work than anticipated (under an old deck and bay window) but he kept to the original quote. No problems. Very happy with the work done and would not hesitate to recommend his services to family and friends.

Nate is a highly dedicated and hard working fellow and our experience with him was great. He was able to come to help faster than other companies we called, there was no charge for the evaluation, and he knows what he is talking about. In our case we had squirrels in the attic and after two attempts to get the pesky little guys out of there (they were very determined to keep chewing their way in through some rotten boards) Nate and his crew not only ensured there were no repeat visitors but he repaired the cause of the rot that let the squirrels in in the first place.
