I had a great experience with this company. They were extremely helpful and prompt during a stressful time. First thing I learned is make sure you take photos of what you are having issues with then they can truly identify if you have bed bugs. Sheree was very professional and very informative and put me at ease. She contacted me fairly quickly and was good at providing advice on what resources to use since we did not have actual bed bugs. They are specialists in detecting bed bugs and want to share proper information about them. Thank you Sheree for all your help. We will not hesitate to go to them for the canine-assisted service if we have an issue in the future and I recommend them for anyone that has bed bug issues.

I had a great experience with using the services of Bed Bug Mutts. I decided to go with their service because of my initial call with Sheree, and also previous reviews online. Sheree took the time to listen to my concerns and give me lots of tips and information on what to look for. Her patience on the phone was so calming, and made me feel that my situation was important. I was still concerned, and decided to book an appointment, anyway. The booking was prompt and I had a next day appointment in Vancouver. Ken and Lilly Loo arrived promptly, even showing up early! Ken’s professionalism during the inspection was incredible. He was super informative and collaborative. The goal of their company is to make people informed, rather than beside themselves. Ken’s information in person was so thorough and enlightening. I would highly recommend this service if you live in the Lower Mainland and if you think you may have this issue.

Amazing service, really lovely people who talk you through everything. Very professional, and their pup was amazing. I'm glad that I went with them, everything that I needed to do was clearly written ahead of time and sent to me so that I wouldn't stress out or need to ask too many questions. If you're planning on going with a bed bug detection service, these guys are the best.

Summary: Call Bed Bug Mutts first. Their only business is finding bed bugs, and they do not provide treatment. You can trust their unbiased report, unlike pest control outfits who have a vested interest in selling you treatments. I can't speak highly enough of Bed Bug Mutts, our experience with them was incredible. Sheree was super nice on the phone and a wealth of information. Her calming demeanour was reassuring. She went out of her way to adjust the schedule and fit our house inspection in the very next day. On site, Ken and Alley Oop were fantastic. Ken was also very well informed, and with all of his experience in the business, his competence was obvious. Alley Oop was cute, and so eager to get to work to find some bugs! Together they performed detailed and incredibly thorough inspection of the house. Thankfully, they found absolutely no evidence of beg bugs! Ken then took the time to help point us in the direction of what might be producing the bites and how we might be able to figure out how to identify the pest. I am so glad we called Bed Bug Mutts for a second opinion and I recommend starting with this service before you panic, or call any pest control companies. We called a service who came in the day before and inspected our bedrooms. During the inspection he claimed to have seen one (but it conveniently hid before I could see it), he pointed to a blob on a bed slate and said it was a dried bed bug (when I came back after the inspection I found out it was a dark chunk of tree resin embedded in the slat) and found a dead insect in a drawer and called it a bed bug (it did not look like a bed bug when I compared it to photos online). I highly recommend getting an unbiased opinion from Bed Bug Mutts: their only business is finding bed bugs, so they have no interest in misleading you.

This is one of the few, if not the only, independent bed bug inspectors in Greater Vancouver. This is very important because the free inspections by exterminators are not necessarily accurate or honest. When the bed bug bites and panic first set in, we were going to hire an exterminator right away. Thankfully we didn't, because it would have cost us a fortune (not to mention trouble with the strata council). We hired Bed Bug Mutts, and to our huge relief, turned out there weren't any bugs. It cost us less than $200 and we were now much more educated about bed bugs, how to prevent them, and how to detect them. They were extremely professional and answered all of our questions. They explained the training that both they and the dog went through. Dog was very well-behaved and did not make any mess in our pet-free home. I would recommend anyone to call Bed Bug Mutts to get an unbiased inspection if there is a bed bug scare, instead of calling an exterminator.
