I HIGHLY recommend Grand River Pest Control! I called numerous companies in an urgent search of someone to help us immediately with an ant invasion in our home and this company was the only one to respond. They were on site within 24 hours, knowledgeable and quick to resolve the issue both indoors and out at a reasonable price with the assurance that they would return if the problem persisted. I trust that won't be necessary as they were thorough and diligent but I would not hesitate to use their services again and will recommend them readily to anyone with a pest control issue. 31-May-2021: I booked Imtiaz for 29-May-2021. First impression: Imtiaz knew his job pretty well. He was on time and made sure kitchen stuff was placed as per his requirements. He made sure that his instructions were clear to us and kept us well informed about the process. He then identified some areas and sprayed. He mentioned that we might see some roaches even after 2-3 days of service and he would come back to spray again in 15 days to take the count to 0. As of now, i can certainly see that 90% of roaches are gone. And expect rest 10% to be taken care by Imtiaz after 15 days. 29-June-2021 I am editing my review exactly after 1 month i.e. on 29-June-2021. Imtiaz was supposed to come in next 15 days and he did come on time. He sprayed as per his understanding once again. The impressive thing was he stood by his words. I could see the count going down but slowly. I would say 95% is gone but I can see roaches even now after 1 month from initial spray. Will post another review when 100% roaches are gone!

After having my home treated for ‘Bed Bugs’ on 3 different occasions with NO success. I decided to take this into my own hands and choose who I wanted to get rid of these bugs! The other 2 pest control companies treatments did not work! Why? Because they are using products that might reduce your bed bug infestation population a little but they won’t get rid of your bed bug problem. Most of these companies just like to make work projects and us poor people suffer with these horrible bugs biting us night after night!!! Very frustrating I tell you! I lost sleep for over 2 months from this bed bug infestation! I think they should call them ‘Bed Biters!’ Because all they do is bite you in the middle of the night and wake you up… However, thank you so much Grand River Pest Control!!! They killed all of them in 1 shot!!! They use a wet chemical treatment that KILLS them Bed Biters DEAD!!! Not just some of them! All of them. The baby bed biters, too! You can waste your time and money on other pest control companies but if you SERIOUSLY want to get rid of your bed bug infestation then you need to call Grand River Pest Control. If I could give 10 stars to them I would!!! Thank You Imtiaz for getting the job done and for being an honest business to get rid of them nasty bed bugs… ahhhh finally I can sleep again and not worry about getting bitten NO MORE!!!

Imtiaz was excellent! There was a cockroach infestation at our rental property. Imtiaz responded to my emails very quickly. On the day he was scheduled to spray, he walked through with us and it was obvious he knew exactly what he was talking about - where he guessed they were hiding turned out to be exactly correct. He informed us that usually the first spray gets rid of 90% of the problem, and to plan for a 2nd spray. We requested a 2nd spray for 10 days following the first due to some time constraints on our end that would have made it difficult otherwise. Imtiaz was punctual and per his 6 month guarantee, did not charge us for the 2nd spray. I wouldn't hesitate at all to recommend him for a thorough and professional job.

I contacted Grand River after a so called reputable and recommended contractor didn't bother showing up. I was able to get an appointment for the following day. Imtiaz gave me a decent price for a single visit. He was professional, polite and on time. Before the work started we went through the house and area that had the ant issue. Imtiaz additionally pointed out areas that he thought could be of concern. The work was done quickly and we have not had any ant issues since that day. We might need a second visit the following spring but we still saved a substantial amount of money compared to the other guy. Thanks again.

Extremely pleased! I had a carpenter ant problem with our treehouse. I messaged Grand River Pest Control at 8pm and they responded by 10pm that they could come by the next afternoon. Mr. Imtiaz Choudry showed up as planned and clearly explained the process- he would spray the tree and treehouse, and leave traps as well. He also told me that he would also spray all around the outside of my house - a service included in the $180 flat-rate fee. He explained that if I had any further problems within the next 6 months, I could message or call and he would come back and spray again, free of charge, as part of their 6 Month Guanrantee. I work during the day but he said he could stop by and spray while I’m at work, and leave a card to show he’s been there. It’s been about 3 weeks and I haven’t seen any more ants around the tree. Would absolutely recommend- a small local business with great prices and service that the big pest control companies just can’t match! Thanks again! :)

Very thorough and told me that if there was still any sign of yellow jackets after 3 days to call him, he would come back out and finish the job for free! I contacted the company as there were rats in my basement at a rental property. They were very quick to show up and place down poison for $226. But non responsive after that. There is still a massive hole. I don’t know when they are coming back. I assume they need to come back? They didn’t respond to follow up calls. I don’t have a bill or explanation of services like with Abell, but I have paid them.

Wow. I was truly blown away today by the absolutely great service. I called at 11 am; he arrived at 2 pm and did exactly what he said that he was going to do (and a lot more) for the reasonable price that he had quoted. I have never encountered this level of service, knowledge and capability in any company that has ever worked on my home. I had both carpenter ants and mice that I wanted dealt with; he did both in less than 1.5 hours.

I hand some pest problem in Kitchener. All these big name pest control companies who depend on call centers failed to call me back on time or did not respond to my emails at all. Fayaz from Grand River called me back right away and did the spraying next day. I called him a week later for follow up, he was at my place again the next day and re-sprayed the entire building all over again, just to be certain, and at no additional cost. This company really does try to help you with your infestation. I had a mouse and rat infestation and they were able to come the next day and resolve the situation. Within days, I noticed less activity and within a week, no activity. I then had a fly infestation due to a potential mouse that died in my mudroom in the walls. I called and they said not to worry and to buy some insecticide from somewhere and it will kill them. So far, the fly infestation has dramatically gone down. I would highly recommend GRPESTCONTROL because they really do honor the 6 month guarantee!

On the Saturday of a long weekend we found ourselves once again struggling to controls ants in our home. This issue had been going on for months and we were becoming concerned that these were carpenter ants. We decided to make a couple phone calls to local pest control services and ended up in contact with GRPC.
