This Pest Control belongs to the category of Pest control service.
Tried to have them help with a rodent issue, but the technician that they sent out had no idea what to do. He said that there was no point screening openings into the attic because rats would find a way in . I asked him so what should I do, just live with rats in the attic? Called another company and they solved the problem on their first visit. The owner's response is incorrect. I had them out to my house for a rodent problem. The owner seems very defensive and doesn't seem interested in solving the customer service issue.
It was quick and painless! They got rid of the ants right away. Thank you Willards!
I called Willard's and they were very upfront about pricing and when they could come out. The service person arrived on time and was very professional. He did an assessment of the property based on my original complaint about wasps/bees but also explained why I was having the issue and what my options were and what the costs would be before performing any services. I appreciated his honesty and detailed feedback. Would definitely recommend.
Sam, Scot, Rick, and crew went above and beyond to help me take care of some inspection items before my new listing went on the market. I expected a lot and they delivered. They have and always will be my go-to pest control service for my listings and for personal recommendations. Thanks to Willard's Pest Control for helping me deliver the best service experience to my clients.
Great service. Tyler is very knowledgeable, diligent, professional and reliable.
after being a customer for over 8 years ... we are appalled by their billing practices, customer service, and ineffective products. I have cancelled my services and will not recommend a company
We've used Willard's twice and have been very impressed both times. Zach has been the agent both times and his professionalism and friendliness are top-notch, as is the service. He even goes to through the effort to put on foot coverings before entering the home. Overly impressed and will continue to rely on Willard's for any pest control needs. Highly recommend!
Tim is very polite and knowledgeable. He set out traps for the rat (or squirrel) that has been getting into drawers, leaving droppings. Most recent activity was gnawing at mat under dish tray (see picture). Tim put out a trap inside a box which I hope will catch the intruder.
We just had a visit from Williard's Pest Control. The technician was completely unprepared and I felt like I had to observe the entire procedure... He arrived without any protective equipment. Not even a mask. He asked about the wasps and the problem areas, which I explained in detail. The wasps were only now and have only ever been a problem at the junction between the fascia and the brick on the front peaked roof area above the front door and the same junction in the area around the upstairs balcony. The technician then proceeded to walk around the perimeter of the house spraying wildly (without a ladder or extended spraying wand) all over the fascia in EVERY area that there has NEVER been a wasp. He even sprayed around a bird house that is currently home to baby birds, endangering their lives. He completely failed to ever retrieve a ladder or spray in ANY of the areas that I had mentioned. Not one. I very clearly pointed them out and asked for confirmation. On top of ALL this, he was also about to spray the ground to kill the ants that don't exist before I stopped him and asked him not to do so. This was a horrifying experience and now the house is totally covered in poison that is only endangering the lives of everyone and everything EXCEPT wasps. I feel concern for the technician, too, since he did all of this without any protective equipment and skin showing everywhere... We still need help with the wasps.
I contacted through the website and received a call back within an hour. A technician came out later that day to assess the wasp problem. They sprayed and took care of all other nests. I'm very happy with the service.
It has been absolute hell working with the administration of this office!!! The young woman who works in the office is SO PROFOUNDLY TERRIBLE at taking instruction and relaying it that appointments were not set up properly, work was not preformed as requested, and service was not stopped as requested. The request for service to be stopped resulted in service being performed on a house that we no longer lived in. I REPEATEDLY , REPEATEDLY , REPEATEDLY contacted the office to have the final service fee voided because of this error on the part of their staff and it has NOT been taken care of ONE YEAR+ after service!!! The apathetic response is SO irritating and EXHAUSTING! I can't recommend this nightmare of a business to anyone which is sad because the techs are actually fantastic!!
Willards does a great job with pest control & removal! We have had them out for a few issues. Rodents in our garage, wasps nests and carpenter ants. They are very friendly, professional and go above and beyond to make sure your home is protected. 100% Recommend!
Very professional. Good experience. Consistently on time.
We have been working with these guys for years and they are always prompt and do great work. This business is highly recommended by us.
Mark arrived 10 minutes ahead of schedule, flashlight in hand, to track down a rat hiding in my basement for a week. At the same time, he went through the inside of my house, attic and garage, looking for potential entry points and closing them off. He set four basic traps in the basement. When I checked them three hours later, the rat had been trapped and killed. Problem solved quickly and professionally.
We've used Willard's for both residential and commercial pest issues over the past 20 years. Consistently met or exceeded our expectations. Most recently, Brent, their eastside technician, returned to address a mouse/ rat issue. In the process we conversed about the why, what and how relative to their service - FASCINATING! The breadth and depth of his knowledge. Three of us were captivated by his commentary. Who would have known that pests could be so interesting?
Technician got here at the time they indicated. He was quick but thorough. I got the bill emailed to me that I could pay using a secured link. Had them spray outside only but will definitely having them spray inside once the social distancing goes away. Great overall experience
Very friendly, knowledgeable and easy to work with. They were recommended to me and I definitely recommend them to others.
They show up fast. It's nice not having to wait several days from them to come spray. Quite expensive for having someone spend 5 minutes walking around the house spraying a total of about 10 oz of mostly water. I'll keep using them though.
Communication, scheduling, showing up - all was easy and customer oriented. I'm happy with the work they did and would recommend them!
Removing nuisance wildlife - a tech came out, set a trap, explained where, what and why. Also - on the 1st day we got a reminder call to report in (to help us get in the routine) that was appreciated! They've been helpful - there's no accounting for pesky animals though.
I had a great experience with Mark from Willard's Pest Control. Mark was super knowledgeable, professional, and helpful. I had a bee hive (yellow jackets, inactive) in a tree in my front yard, and Mark was able to quickly remove it. He also did a thorough inspection of my garage and crawl space when requested, and was detailed in his findings and suggestions. Also, the cost for the inspection and bee hive removal was less than just the cost of the hive removal I was quoted by a competitor! Had a great experience, will use Willard's again if needed in the future.
Willard's had the expertise we needed, they responded swiftly, did good work and shared information with us throughout the process. Thank you
I was directed to talk to Willard's for my previous home after we had rats sneaking in to our crawl space. They did an awesome job explaining to me where the rats were entering and why (don't hang a bird feeder too close to your house) they liked our house so much. They came out for the first inspection, set some traps and closed the ingress/egress places to see where the rats were coming in or out. Willard's came out for 3 check ins and adjusted the strategy and explained why they were doing what they were doing. Then they came out for a 4th visit just to make sure. I am very impressed with Willard's, so much that when we moved in to a new house we called them to do an inspection!
Willards did a great job at my house dealing with a rodent problem. They came out quickly and were reasonably priced. Definitely recommend them for your pest control needs. Thanks!
Knowledgeable. On time professional.
We recently got an inside and outside spray for spiders at our house and the man who came but to handle everything was super friendly and had great customer service and was happy to answer any questions in a respectful manner. HOWEVER, the woman on the customer service/answer line for booking appointments was awful. She did not clearly inform me of much and when the day of the appointment came, I was expecting an inspection for the inside and possible spraying of the outside as I had clearly stated. What was booked was a full sweep spray which we were not prepared for with a full family plus a child and dog. It took many phone calls to be able to switch the appointment to another day and the woman was yet again, rude and unfriendly. She grudgingly helped me but did not mention that they would be charging us an extra $150.00 for that mix up. They just tacked it onto the bill later. In addition, they clearly stated in the phone call that they would do a sweep of all spider webs on the ceilings and hard to reach places we still see many spider webs. Not a very good job. All in all, a very unpleasant experience. I just wanted to warn future customers of what to expect when calling and how they could possibly leave out very crucial information. At least the spray guy will be great! Hope this helps ????????
I used there service 7 or so months ago for flies, then the service was great! Got rid of them and the guy told me they will come back if I don't get rid of the mice. He was right they came back. So I called to get them out for the mice and the flies. I don't know why they would lie but now there telling me mice don't get flies? Yes they can and ticks and lice. I don't trust them now and neither should anyone else!!!
These folks work hard to please, are knowledgeable in their field, and are highly communicative.
Locally-owned family business. Provided timely and thorough ‘sugar’ ant extermination in our kitchen area. Technician was super-polite and engaging yet highly professional. He took the time to carefully explain his approach and process - leaving us feeling super-confident in our decision to hire Willard’s!
Very helpful and knowledgable. Will definitely use again!
I called Willard's for a second opinion. Croach came out first and mis identified the bugs in question and said I needed a year long service contract that would cost over $1,000. Willards found some dog food that had slid under the stove that acted like bait. They correctly identified our bugs and took care of the issue in one visit for $225. It's been over a month now and the bugs are gone, with the original cause. Thank you Willard's!
We're always impressed with their ongoing maintenance.
I had a bird stuck in my chimney!! Called around town to more than 10 different pest control and bird removal companies. Very few were even willing to discuss the matter and none were able to come help us with the problem. I finally found Willard's Pest Control and they took my call, and worked with me to see if they could handle the issue. They sent out a technician same day and solved my "crow in the chimney" problem quickly and affordably. Willard's will be my first call moving forward because of their great customer service, timely response, and willingness to think outside the box to solve even the strangest of problems. Highly recommend!
They scheduled the visit quickly, showed up on time, took care of the problem, and billed exactly as they said they would. Doesn't get better.
Used them some time ago to take care of a mouse that entered our tenants place. Smooth operators. Thorough job. Don't have a picture to upload to show the job they did. ????
The last guys you want to call for pest control issues. Not very professional, and frankly, comically disorganized and unprofessional. They not only will take weeks to get back to you they will show up late, if at all, and deliver on nothing that they promise. There are a lot of pest control companies in the area, so you have a choice and can avoid Willard's.
Check house for possible bats. Thorough in his inspection and explanation of what he did and what he found. Good news is hat I did not have a problem Piece of mind was worth calling him in. Very professional.
True professionals a great attitude by all the people i have come in contact with. Their services are done with expertise. I have used Willard’s on two properties and have been very happy with their service.
We have worked with Tim for several years both at home and at our business. A great technician.
Zach was my technician and he was very knowledgeable. I thought I had a rat in an interior wall, so he did a thorough inspection and set some traps. He came back in a week to check the traps. I'm happy with his responsiveness and price.
We’ve been using Willards for years have worked with multiple of their technicians. Zach is our normal tech for our area but others have also been out when we needed special services and done great work. Great company to work with, office staff is always knowledgeable and friendly as well.
We ordered a rodent inspection of our crawl space and attic. Our technician (Nick) was thorough and knowledgeable and took considerable time to explain the process. We will definitely use them again.
Mark Plank of Willards has provided timely and thorough rodent and ant-control measures for us the past four years. No more rodents and no more ants. The work is priced fairly and done properly.
Techs are great. Office staff tho...needs work.
The service was tailored to meet our specific needs.
Very polite folks. Get the job done.
Excellent experience with Willard's Pest Control Company . They responded quickly, wonderful communication, fair pricing and excellent service. No high pressure sales or up-selling. We were treating for wasps and noticed a huge difference immediately. Highly recommend.
they should deduct the first inspection fee from the evacuation and cleaning cost
We had a home inspection, we were told had a possible rodent issue. We called Willards and the were very prompt to check the situation and clear it up.
Willard’s pest control does excellent work. Very professional, friendly, helpful staff. Went above and beyond to help us take care of cleaning up the attic.
They do good work and are very knowledgeable in pest control..
I called to have my house sprayed for bugs and spiders and to also check their previous work. I had previously done a rodent initial with them where they sprayed foam in a rodent hole. I had since seen a rat come out of the same hole and have it on video. The tech shows up and checks the same hole adds more foam. He apparently signed me up for another rodent initial and went on to say that he would be unable to spray the house for bugs until I signed the agreement. I never wanted to do another rodent initial all I wanted was the house sprayed and for them to fix the same hole they tried to patch previously. I ended up with a second rodent initial and I am still fighting with them to fix my bill and resolve the issue. This has gone on long past any opportunity to salvage any sort of working relationship with this company. I will not recommended and in fact will tell people to steer clear of working with this company.
Brent was professional, polite, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with. When there was no solution to my issue, they did not charge me the full amount which was appreciated. I definitely recommend Willard's Pest Control for your home.
TLDR; After visiting my house a total of 3 times to try and get the job done, there were still rat droppings in very prominent places in my basement dropping ceiling, which required me to spend hours cleaning myself. Bad communication and lack of attention to detail led me to a lack of peace of mind for my $800. UPDATE: I dropped the rating from 2 to 1 star because I finally had a chance to dig around in my crawlspace and saw the OTHER terrible job they charged me $1000 for, a vapor barrier. The job was sloppy, nothing tacked down, with just giant sheets of plastic sliding all over the place. ---------------------------------- I'd like to preface this by saying this review is for a job that they don't normally perform, and usually not in a residence. I hired these guys to clean the drop ceiling in my basement from a previous rat infestation. After the cleaning was done, I noticed that rat dropping had fallen on the wall trim and fireplace mantel during the basement cleaning and were never picked up. I also poked my head above the ceiling panels and immediately saw droppings. They came back out to make another pass. I once again started poking around in the ceiling (the whole point of hiring them was so that could take the ceiling down and do some home improvement stuff without getting rat droppings everywhere) and I again immediately found more rat droppings in the framework of the drop ceiling as well as high up on the edges of the walls. They came out a 3rd time and did ANOTHER pass, and in the end suspected that there were still rats because of some "new" droppings and suggested I put out food to see if there was any activity. I put out food and even a camera down there for about a week, there were no rats and no new droppings. I once again started taking tiles down and immediately found loads of droppings on the drop ceiling frame where the tiles sit. It's obvious to me that either the tiles were never taken down and inspected, or they were taken down and the frame itself was left alone. I have since spent the last 2 weekends cleaning each and every piece of the ceiling myself. This includes soiled insulation at the point of entry as well as contaminated insulation that had been pulled away from a heating duct at some point. (This pulled away insulation also leads me to believe that the crew did not in fact take down any of the tile in that area as the droppings in the insulation would have fallen out.) The team was terrible at communicating what they found and what they had "done", other than saying they had "finished". The only clarity I ever had was when I went up myself and spent hours poking around to see what they did and didn't do. I had concerns that vacuuming up the droppings would kick things into the air that we didn't want to breath in, and I assumed (perhaps wrongly) that anyone doing cleaning like this in a living space would attempt to seal doorway gaps leading into other rooms. This of course, did not happen, and soon after the cleaning, the smell of dust kicked up from the basement started to obviously pervade an area on the main floor immediately around the basement stairwell door. Is it unreasonable to think that when I ask for someone to clean a drop ceiling so that rat droppings don't rain down on me that they would take down all the panels and try to be as thorough as possible? I didn't think so, but I never got a straight answer as to what THEY thought should be done, and the certainly never informed me exactly what they did and didn't do. I hired this because I was wary of the safety concerns of doing this clean-up myself and was looking for peace of mind. Instead I’m left with even more health concerns than when I started. I know these guys don’t normally do this kind of clean-up at a residence, but the lack of communication and specifics would lead me to not recommend their services in the future regardless of the project, unfortunately.
I have needed to work with Willards for a variety of reasons with different properties over the years and always have an excellent from start to finish. In my opinion they are the best!
We suddenly had an infestation of ants after we removed a retaining wall near our house. We called and they sent a technician in a day, much to our relief. Matt was friendly, informative and took care of us asap. Thank you!
I heard scratching in my attic for months but after calling a few exterminators who wanted me to sign a 1+ year contract I gave up and hoped it was just crows on the roof. It got worse so I called an attic cleaning company who quoted me several thousand dollars to seal the attic, kill the rats and replace the insulation. I heard good things from a friend about Willards and I couldn’t be happier. For $375 they sealed my attic, set traps and came back to check them (total three visits). By the time they were done the rats were gone. Great value, complete service, and happy with the results. They also quoted me a much lower cost for cleaning the attic, which I plan to have them do. I can’t give a complete review without mentioning our Technician, Mark P. He showed up on time (all three times), kept our house clean and was thorough in finding where the rats were entering our attic. He also engaged my two young kids, at an appropriate level, when they showed interest in what he was doing. For example he didn’t say we caught “baby rats” but rather “juveniles.” That meant a lot to me as a parent and showed a level of professionalism I wasn’t expecting. I will be using Willards in the future, especially if Mark is the technician.
We needed quick help to deal with ratty smells -- and maybe a rat? -- in order to close the sale of our house! Willard gave us priority and was excellent in every way! Highly recommended! House sale has closed!!
I have been working with Willard's Pest Control for many, many years (25+) and they have ALWAYS been great to work with, friendly and affordable. They have shown up on time and have taken care of the issue at hand - rodents, birds or insects! I would highly recommend them and have done so on dozens of occasions!! Please consider using them!! Mike Shelton Property Manager since 1984
Tyler is a very amiable, detail-oriented technician. He has a good knowledge level re: our pest issues. We are happy to have him on our property and assist with these challenges.
I oversee repairs for a property management company, and have been dealt with a wide variety of pest issues working in that capacity. Willard's has been our go-to pest control company for many years. Scot and Rick have always gone the extra mile when we've been confronted with a tough situation. The technicians and office staff have been equally helpful. I highly recommend them.
Once our scheduling issues got straighten, out Scot did a great job. Along with Britney.
Sebring is the technician we had to evict a mama raccoon and her four babies. It was a very challenging and inconvenient location with some barriers to the access. Sebring was kind, professional and EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE about the habitat, characteristics and habits of not only raccoons but of many nspecies of nuisance animals. He was dedicated to getting the little fur family out of my roof and waited as long as he had to (2 hours!) for the mama to come back after running away from the babies. I am so impressed with Willard's responsiveness to my problem and especially grateful to Sebring for my quiet home again!
They were very professional and efficient. They were able to capture the litter of raccoon babies, but not the Mom. She hasn't been back. I wasn't totally clear on the pricing, though. Thought it was going to be $125 for the visit and $125 for the litter. It ended up costing $412.
Small and poorly made traps
They did a great job! Highly recommend Willard's.
Used willards to clean my crawl space and the job was done neatly and timely. They were honest when I had them out the first time, so my first call was willards. The work speaks for itself.
