Quick response, good walk thru with thorough and considered feedback. Sprayed for a carpenter ant infestation in our gazebo just today. If it's been more than two weeks from April 20, 2021. Assume everything went as planned. We did sign up for the bi-monthly inspection which means we get a warrantee on the activity, but our older house can use it, if I don't update this review, the single clean up did the job of taking care of the pests.

I needed some insulation work done in the attic. Baffles installed and a duct to connect the stove fan to the roof vent. They gave me the most fair and cheapest cost qoute. It was 200 less than the next 2 qoutes. The technicians arrived on time and completed the work quickly. I am extremely satisfied with their services. The work was performed quickly without any problems or injury to the house. The installers safe gaurded the house by laying protective tarp to avoid scuffs and avoid the spread of loose insulation and wore required PPE while conducting the work. The finished work looked thorough and professional.

I saw that there was rodent activity in my crawl space and decided to call eastside since they had a lot of good reviews on google. They charged $200 to come out and do an inspection (not doing any work besides laying traps). They told me that to patch the possible entry points was going to cost me $900. That took me by surprise so I got two other quotes and the work was going to be $300 including an inspection. Bummed I’m out $200 but at least I didn’t schedule the $900 work like I was going to.

A few years ago we had a problem no one ever wants to have: rats got into our attic. It was ugly up there, the insulation was contaminated at my own effort at eradication was futile. I tried a cheap pest control contractor who started but never finished. Finally, I contacted Eastside Exterminators for help. First, they sealed all the areas where rats had penetrated the roof along with other possible entry points. Then they cleaned the attic, replacing the insulation while keeping our home clean. They were very professional. Most important, to prevent repeat performances, six bait stations were installed and are serviced regularly by Bruce. Our Eastside tech. We have extensive flower gardens which our my wife's pride and joy. Bruce is careful to refill the bait stations while not trampling the flowers. He always let's us know what's going on. He's a real professional and we appreciate his work. Eastside Exterminators aren't the cheapest services around but in my view they are the best in the Seattle area.

He was very thorough and went above and beyond by knocking down wasp nests on the eve of our barn and house and throwing down some extra glue traps in the crawl space. Our new house had a bad ant problem from basically being unlived in for almost 6 months before we moved in. Based on good reviews and long history of local service, decided to give Eastside Exterminators a try. We got their signature plus protection plan as I knew these ants would not be a one and done issue, and we live in a wooded area where many things live that like to get inside of houses. The initial inspection was not cheap, but the subscription fee for ongoing service was inexpensive for all the work they do. Alex was very friendly and knowledgeable. He identified the ants right away, and was extra careful to use the minimum treatment indoors and treated only areas safe for our family. We have a 2 year old, a newborn, and 2 cats. All of whom are experts at putting things in their mouths that shouldn't be there. Alex was able to get the ants under control quickly, and has worked diligently to eliminate them. Response has been quick thew few times we have seen a flare up. Alex is back in a day or two of my call, and after he inspects and treats the flare up site the ants are gone before the end of the day.

Patch Ryan called when he was on his way and arrived right when I expected him. Patch did a great job explaining what he was going to do, asked if I had any questions/concerns or problem areas I'd like him to focus on and highlighted to keep our dogs inside while the treatment set for the next 45 minutes. After my wife and I purchased our home, we hired Eastside Exterminators to find and close any openings into the crawl space, clean the crawl space and replace all insulation there. Afterward, we had bait stations placed on the exterior of our house and we are on a service cycle of every two months. Eastside Exterminators did a great job of ridding our crawl space of rodents. It was a mess! We are still rodent free after over 2 years! Alex, the service technician comes out every 2 months and checks/refills the bait stations. He's great. I try to talk with Alex at each visit because he is very knowledgeable and explains how well the baits are working and how we can clear areas in our yard to reduce the likelihood of rodents. Alex also services other clients in our area, so he knows if there is a more widespread problem throughout the year. My wife and I are very please with Alex and Eastside Exterminators for their initial and continuing services. They are well worth the investment.

I 100% don’t recommend! I called them with suspicion of a dead rodent in my crawl space. They spent 3 minutes looking in my crawl space to find nothing and left. They didn’t spend more than 5 minutes total in our home. They then proceeded to charge me $275 for “dead rodent removal”. I had to call and complain for them to still charge $125 for nothing. I understand a trip fee but they did nothing for $125!

They did a good job closing off all the points of entry in our home and spent a good deal of time doing this but then tried to upsell us on replacing all of our insulation in our home for around $25,000!!! They work off of commission. We had another person come out who just does home insulation and he said we don’t need to replace the insulation in the home for at least another 5 years... and also asked us why they set up sticky traps instead of snap traps. Sticky traps are better for spiders, etc not rodents. We are hiring someone else to finish the rest of the rodent extermination.

We had a different company handling our pest control needs. They came out regularly and assured us we had no rodent problem. A few days ago we noticed a terrible odor coming from the crawl space. We tried to contact out pest company, but never got a call back, or answers to our texts or emails. We had to find help right away. We did a quick search and looked at a lot of reviews. We decided to contact Eastside Exterminators. It was late but they had a text option. We texted our problem. First thing the next morning we got a text from Eastside. It took about 5 minutes before they scheduled an inspector to come out to assess the problem. His name was Luke and he came out the same day. He was also early. Luke explained in detail what he was going to do. He was very polite and professional and respectful of our house and covid 19 requirements. He arrived at 12:30 and finished a very thorough inspection at about 2:30. After Luke finished his inspection he wrote up a detailed report and included several color photos depicting things he had found. He went over the results in detail. Every thing was broken down by things we ended to get done right away and things we should consider at some point. He also explained in detail how they were going to do the work. The most interesting thing was Eastside also does insulation work. Luke noticed old not so safe insulation in our attic (I already knew about it). He wrote that separately into the proposal. He explained it in detail after he finished talking about the rats. We were very surprised at how much work was needed, but how reasonably priced each part was including redoing the insulation in our attic. We haven't had any of the work done yet because Luke just left an hour ago. This review is about how fast Eastside got to us and how impressive the inspection process was, but more importantly, how impressive Luke was. We will update this review when the work gets done.

Eastside Exterminators has been so helpful in eradicating ants and rodents that were making my life really hard! We’d find lots of ants daily in many areas of our house, requiring hours of clean up and needing to use harmful ant sprays. And we had a huge rat colony in our crawl space! When Brad came out and sprayed around the inside and outside, he used a spray that wasn’t toxic to humans and had no odor. And our ants were completely gone! My wife and I purchased a home that we knew (from general inspection) had a rodent problem. We contacted Eastside, had someone come out and give an estimate for exclusion work. We were okay with the estimate, and scheduled the work. The work was performed when scheduled, and were told an inspector would come the following week to make sure the work was done properly. Sounds good, internal quality insurance. The inspector came as scheduled, said they were not happy with the work and would have someone come back out. No one did, or called to schedule that work. After a week or so I called the office and asked what was going on. I was told someone would get in touch with me. After calling again, someone did call me back, took the details of what had happened and said they would talk to the inspector and call me back, likely the following week. I didn't hear back. After calling the office multiple times over the course of several weeks, someone did come out, said they didn't know what the first person was talking about and would talk to them. The explanation I heard about not hearing back and having to call in so many times was someone was ill and had been off work. That's understandable and it happens. I was disappointed that there was no one else at the company that contacted me to tell me he was ill, or follow up (he was out for over a week). I call and talk to customer service, who was very friendly and said they would CC the director or executive letting them know of the situation. I'm not sure if that made a difference, but We eventually had someone come out and set bait boxes, a service we paid to have done once exclusion work was done. I didn't get a indication the exclusion work had been done, someone just showed up to set the boxes. The service we paid for is apparently having someone come check the bait boxes every two months. A day before they were supposed to come and make the two month check, I saw a mouse running in the house. Luckily, my cat caught it. I called Eastside, and they sent someone out to check the next day, which was apparently scheduled (or supposed to be, but I didn't know), already. They come and didn't see how the mouse got it and wanted to have someone check the exclusion work. The person comes and said there is more that needed to be done, and we should hear from the office. He also informed me that mice are not covered with the exclusion work warranty. that somehow came as a surprise to me. I may have missed that in the terms and agreements, but it made me wonder what we had actually paid for. The office called over a week ago now, saying "we see you need more exclusion work done, that will be $450." My response was, what do you mean? I never saw an estimate. "Oh, you didn't? Okay it sounds like I need to talk to X, and have them call you". "Okay, yeah that sounds good." I'm not sure if they conversation happened, but I never heard back from anyone. Via email, phone call, estimate or even an explanation or apology. I get that unexpected things happen, especially now with Covid. I do expect that you do what you say you are going to do, or own it if it you don't and try and make amends. To say I am disappointed in the level of service we have received with Eastside exterminators would be an understatement.

Stay away!! I called them to help with possible rodents going into the house from the vents. They came up with an extensive list of what they’re going to patch, and marketed their work as very professional. To my surprise, they ended up stapling mesh all over the house in a very messy way and billed me 10k for it!!! If I had known they’d be stapling mesh, I would have gotten any handy man to do it for much cheaper. Total scam and not trust worthy! I’m new to the PNW and was horrified to find “giant house spiders” not only exists but are fairly common. Eastside was able to get someone over to my house with 24 hours of me calling. Walt was amazing, he was thorough and walked me through the process and answered all my questions and checked in with me to make sure I was happy with the cleaning process. He even took the time to walk me through the species of spiders here what to expect which each and explained none were poisonous. It definitely helped to calm my nerves! Our technician from Eastside was Patch. Patch called about 30 minutes prior to arrival to let us know he was in route. Much appreciated. He arrived at our residence on time. He was shown the problem. We had a hornet nest inside of our second story attic. The hornets had gained access thru a small opening in the roof framing. He then explained how he was going to deal with the problem using the right type and amount of chemical, from the outside of the house. This is a challenging task as we have an 8/12 high pitch roof. Truly Patch is a professional and highly skilled. I would recommend him to anyone with a challenging pest problem like we had. Five stars....
