Alta Pest Control sent an unmasked rep to my home with small children during a global pandemic with a highly contagious delta variant on the rise. Then when I called said "reps don't have to be masked if they're vaccinated." Then admitted that they can't ask whether they are vaccinated due to HIPAA regulations. So a) they don't even know if their people are vaccinated and b) even if he was, vaccinated people can pass the virus to others even if they don't get sick themselves per the CDC. And he's going DOOR TO DOOR. DO NOT RECOMMEND their services. In addition to this ridiculousness, it didn't even work. Mosquito Joes is much more effective and they come with masks on. SO annoyed by their complete and utter ineptitude, disregard and nonchalant attitude towards the health and safety of clients and ESPECIALLY children who cannot get vaccinated at this time. Cancelled. Literally.

However, when I contacted my neighbors (he provided their names - didn't just point to the house), neither neighbor uses Alta Pest Control. Then a second solicitor came back two days later and gave my husband the same speel. This practice should be against the law. They completely eliminated spider webs around my house and found a huge spider that was on the corner of my outside back door! Soon after, Remmington showed up on time and completed all of the services Joseph listed during his sales pitch. He also took the time to answer all of my questions and politely engaged in conversation. I have recently moved, and the customer service rep threw in another initial treatment for free. Every interaction I have had with Alta has been positive, and I am grateful that the treatment is effective. As a reference point, we did not have a crazy infestation. We had your typical critters that happen to find their way into a one-level home.
