I asked if they could send photos of the two fig trees I wanted to buy and right away they sent me a group of pictures from all angles. Very quick to get back to me with my questions. Both fig trees were really attractive. I bought on line and picked up the following day. I was impressed with how well paper wrapped they were to keep out the cold. Very friendly and helpful, I will definitely shop there again.

It is a total treat if I get to go in there and sigh over all the beautiful plants and pots and choose a couple to add to my collection <3 Cara is the best, the shop is so beautiful and lovely and so many great options, affordable or rare hard to obtain ones. This shop has always been one of my favourites but they have officially went above & beyond for me. I am currently isolating & needed a gift put together by a specific date (within my isolation time). I messaged the plant shelf to see if they could help me out & they didn't disappoint! Friendly service and the addition of emailing customers care for their new plants is a lovely touch! I purchased a ZZ plant and a snake plant to add to my ever-growing plant collection. The Plant Shelf has some of the coolest looking plants in Kingston. Polka dot patterns, gappy leaves, crazy shades, you name it. The selection is amazing and is always evolving. Pickup is quick and online ordering is very convenient. Great service by the staff which is always helpful when I have any questions about growing my plants. My go to place for plants in Kingston.

She has been extremely helpful in helping me choose plants for my home, the office, and gifts for loved ones based on my budget as well as light available for each plant. I love that Cara makes sure that whatever plant I end up choosing will be the best plant for the environment it is going into. On the plus side, she offers a variety of lovely pots that compliments many lifestyles.

The selection of plants is incredible, and the two I purchased were not only much bigger than I had anticipated based on pot size, but were flourishing and had lots of new growth! Shortly after receiving my order I got an email detailing specific plant care for each of my new babies! service is ok as well as selection. please water your tillandsia xerographica. i don’t like seeing plants being neglected. the right curls indicate it’s thirsty. pls don’t sell plants you don’t have any interest taking care of!! ty. pls just have them watered ???? another thing, if you aren’t into a certain plant or it’s care, DONT SELL IT. don’t put blame on your customers and say it’s high in demand otherwise they would be gone. If it’s someone asking for one, order them in one for a custom order. don’t mess with plants and their care just to make a quick buck. they are alive just like we are. also it’s not ok to tell customers to not refuse anything. it’s a customers choice and this place does not have the best care for plants anyways. i don’t appreciate this as most things in this world and North America, are NOT recycled. be considerate. customers have different views and they don’t all point to yours. and as well as your dragon scale! i don’t see a point in buying a plant that’s $165 and it’s legit just not taken care of for the price. I’ve been there a couple times and never am I impressed with what’s in there. I think the owner should be more aware of plant care as I don’t think they know fully themselves.

Love this shop so much. I have been to this store so many times and could not be more happy with the experiences I have had. I absolutely love plants and Cara has been so helpful with everything I needed. she has such great info on everything that I have purchased from her store and the quality of plants I have gotten is A+. whenever people come to my place I always get compliments on the quality of plants that I have and I alway recommend them to the Plant Shelf. if you have not been to this store i would definitely recommend checking it out.

By far my favourite plant shop in Kingston! It has great natural lighting to keep the plants in great shape. They have an amazing selection of plants, restocked multiple times a week, that range from rare, popular and common. And the prices are the best! Cara (the owner) is amazing and will even keep an eye out for specific plants to order if you share your wishlist plants with her. I cannot recommend this place enough!
