This review is based on the level of professionalism and honesty. I was recommended to them through another pest control company as I believed I had a potential termite problem under my deck. Aetna asked for a picture of the insect, before sending someone to conduct an investigation. The next day they let me know that it was citronella ants and NOT termites (very similar looking). They could have easily charged to send someone down to do an inspection. It’s great to see this level of professionalism. Thanks!

Over the years I've been in touch with Aetna Pest Control several times and every time the customer service experience has been exceptional. Termite Inspection - we had this done on our previous home as well as our current home. Both times Richard come out, he was on time, professional and very friendly. Our second home had a crawl space and he went in there without hesitation to do what he needed to do. Both times we were fortunate not to have any infestation and it was great to have the peace of mind. Ant problem - last summer I called because there were swarms of ants at the front of my home and they seemed to be coming from under my house. I was quite concerned and called Aetna. Liz answered my call, asked me to email her some photos. From the photos she was able to identify that they were Citronella Ants and gave me instructions on how to take care of them myself... free of charge! Beetle in my Stairs - most recently I noticed little wood shavings on my stairs and again called Aetna. Again Liz talked me through what the problem was and cancelled the at home visit I had scheduled which again was solving my problem free of charge. Aetna goes above and beyond to help out and clearly have the best intentions. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing Pest Control help.

Our landlord has had some issues with ants here, and with small rodents getting up into the eaves of the house. Aetna's crew checked over the problem areas and talked to him about it, and then did some treatments to take care of the pests. They knew their stuff and we haven't had any problems since then. Highly recommended.

Very impressed with this outfit. My wife and I were completely freaked out. Hundreds of bugs swarming outside out front bay window (we live east end of the city North Riverdale/Danforth area). I'm thinking carpenter ants (we discovered those during a renovation a few years back) or worse, termites. Called Aetna and Liz said - send a picture. So I did and she diagnosed citronella ants. Fortunately, they are beneficial animals and more of a nuisance than anything else. No need to nuke the site. Liz called back - no prompting with the information. After such a great customer experience - there is no one else I will call to help us when the next problem arises. Thanks Liz and Aetna!

Very friendly and helpful. I had a couple of bugs inside of my condo. I called Aetna Pest Control right away. They recommended over the phone that I try and bring one of the bugs in so they could have a look at it and determine exactly what type of bug it was. Liz was wonderful and helped me out by determining what kind of bugs they were. She also gave me some information about the type of bug and suggestions that I could do in my condo to get rid of them and avoid anymore bug issues. I highly recommend Aetna Pest Control.

Liz said that this treatment would be free, as it fell under my warranty, but after the fact I was hit with a $350 bill!!! She was extremely rude, and despite admitting that she had told me it would be free, charged me the $350 anyway. Furthermore, the treatment that was done was useless—the problem was misdiagnosed, so no treatment was needed! On top of that, when Liz was demanding payment for what she originally told me would be free under warranty, she invented dates/times that she claimed workers had come into my house, thus justifying the surprise charges. However, during the dates/times she claimed they worked in my house, I was out of the country and have flight confirmations to prove it! Don’t get fleeced by this company like I did, I trusted them and should not have.

This Company's welcoming is far from warm! , communication was attempted to be made with this establishment regarding the services they use however we we're shocked at the attitude shown. we don't doubt their services, however the manners on some employees is extremely unappreciated.

We recently had an infestation in one of our kitchen cabinets. We panicked and thought they were termites and phoned Aetna. Liz was very reassuring, and asked us to send her some pictures, and immediately got back to us saying that we were dealing with moths, and not termites. We were very relieved and offered to pay Aetna for their help over the weekend. But they are highly professional and refused any payment. I am very impressed by Aetna's professionalism and highly recommend them to anyone dealing with pest issues

We found a swarm of insects in our house we feared were termites. Instead of using their time and ours for an inspection, Liz had us send photos. Turns out they were citronella ants, which we could easily deal with ourselves, including Liz's recommendation to check for moisture problems which may have attracted them.
