I used Buzz Boss last year and their service was shockingly great. I decided to use them again this year and that appears to have been a mistake. I paid for the service in early May. The first treatment was May 19th. On May 21st I contacted via their feedback form on their website as I was unable to raise anyone on the phone. The treatment seemed to have no affect. This communication received no response. June 20th I contacted them again and got a response with the promise of a reapplication. No technician showed up. I contacted them once more on July 12th and was told there were weather delays. Once again, I contacted them on July 22nd and was told there were weather delays. Buzz Boss contacted me to let me know my second treatment was scheduled for July 25th. They contacted again to postpone the second spray for July 27. I still hadn't received my re-spray from the May treatment. The second treatment was finally applied on July 28th. Third treatment was applied on August 24th. I won't be using this business again. I also won't be recommending them to friends, family, or colleagues.

It's probably safe to assume the 5 star reviews are by the company. Here's my story: I subscribed for the complete package in june. All I received was: Some stoner came out and sprayed some ineffective snake oil all over my property which did nothing to prevent mosquitoes. They didn't do anything about ants, rodents, and wasps which i paid for. No service calls were responded to. Using their online chat amounted to nothing other than promises to rectify the situation. Calling in was no better: I was guaranteed every time a manager would call me before end of day, which never happened. Also their big claim is they "guarantee their work", but you can't actually get a refund because their support call center doesn't have the authority to issue a refund and only a manager can, which is impossible to contact despite trying literally 10 times. I only tried this after a recommendation from an acquaintance, but now i have to wonder if they paid him to recommend it.

Buzz Boss started looking after our residence early in the year. Since Buzz Boss has been coming around we haven't seen any mosquitos on our back deck and around the yard and the Wasps have been scarce which is great. Last year we had way too many wasps this year hardly any. Thats a win in my mind. When they first sprayed for spiders we saw a bunch but I have since realized they were vacating as we haven't seen spiders for the past several months. I am now getting them to do my rental property as I am please with the results.

Great job and very professional! UPDATE: they were able to get rid of pesky ant areas that I have been having trouble with for years. Brick patio in the back, and an ant colony on my front lawn. You need to be patient but repeated applications did the trick. Noticed a lot less mosquitos too. Well done Buzz Boss!

I have spieder webs every summer in the corners of my windows around the house. This year after Buzz Boss, none! Also, with all the aphid droppings, I had ants, which is a first for me. It got rid of them as well. I'm pretty sure the mosquitoes are history as well as I haven't encountered any outside in the evenings. This is well worth it!

If you want to be able to fully enjoy you backyard during our short Saskatchewan summers you need to have Buzz Boss come over and get rid of those pesky bugs. Being able to sit on your back deck or around the firepit and night and night and not being swarmed by mosquitos is by far the best part of their service. But they can also get rid of ants, spiders and even rodents. Tervin and his team are very professional and quick to respond to questions and problems.

Tried Buzz Boss for the first time last year, was somewhat impressed, we had moved into a new house and the yard was full of all kinds of flying bugs and spiders, by the 2nd or 3rd treatment it was pretty bug free and we were able to enjoy the yard, my only issue would be they can't treat the spiders up high all over the house and we have some big ones, so that's a downside. My biggest dislike was always having a different technician, none really came across as confident in their answers, if they could answer at all...that concerns me especially when I am letting someone spray chemicals in my yard I would like someone who can explain the process to me and how it affects my apple tree's, my pets etc...I did sign up again this year but was disappointed that the return customer deals really aren't that great so you have to choose how much is a few sprays worth to you to rid your yard of pest (and not all pests) however they were good and would send someone back without question if the spray didn't work. As other reviewers said appointments get postponed a lot, they don't show up when they should...frustrating especially when you have events planned and they haven't sprayed for a while...this year will be my deciding factor if we continue and/or recommend...I will update after this season.

This past weekend I had the opportunity to go to a backyard BBQ where Buzz Boss services were used. All summer as soon as the sun starts to set, I know its time to head in doors because the mosquitoes start swarming. However, this was absolutely not the case with the Mosquito spray applied to the yard by Buzz Boss. It was the talk of the party, and such a pleasure to be able to enjoy an outdoor space without the pesky mosquitoes buzzing about.

Needed immediate assistance with wasp nest in our soffit near the front door. Jasper L was ON it right away. We couldn't be home when he arrived but asked him to check around the out buildings on our acreage and he dealt with 8 nests at a great price. Haven't seen a wasp return yet. He was very pleasant on the phone, provided prompt and professional service. Very pleased with Buzz Boss overall and Jasper L specifically.

After the owners apologized for the initial lack of response ( above) , the fellow came back and treated the yard again. It worked very well. They returned yesterday for the second treatment. Edmonton has received a lot of rain and is probably mosquito heaven. When I cut the lawn today, not a single mosquito! This system works really well!! I recommend them.

Our house, deck and yard are now all bug free and the difference between our yard and our neighbours is substantial. We can even use our back deck at night again ????. We used this Buzz Boss last year with great results and great service. We went ahead used them this year...what a mistake! Never again! Almost every appointment was delayed and everytime I we received a service we had to call for a respray, which was never received. We would receive confirmation of the respray request and then would continually be delayed until the regularly scheduled spray. They absolutely do not stand behind their guarantee. I reached out a half dozen times to get a refund or at least talk to a Manager...low and behold they do not follow through on issue resolution. They use a canned response every time (if you get a response) that says they will inform the appropriate persons. What they don't say is the 'appropriate persons' don't exist. If they actually provided customer service beyond new accounts, I wouldn't be writing this review. Since they do not have a professional level of customer service and do not stand behind their product I want to warn others. Watch, Buzz Boss will respond to this review letting me know that my concerns were escalated to the appropriate persons! Ha! Be proactive, not reactive! Update to review: I increased the rating from a 1 star to 3 stars, as Buzz Boss did reach out with a refund. Thank you for finally acknowledging this issue and rectifying it.

I used the online system. It says “book now.” but it really should just say “pay now.” As all they do at that time is charge your credit card and give you NO indication of when you'll get service. Is it in the next week? Next Month? This summer? No idea. So I left a message requesting this info before they charged my card. Guess what? They didn't provide it, they just charged my card. I finally got a hold of someone and they said a week to 10 days and they'll text me the day before (I have large dogs and a locked gate, so I needed to be home). Got a message on May 25 that they'd be there Monday, May 28. I stayed home for the SCHEDULED service. Surprisingly, no one arrived. Okay, that happens. I called them and left a message. No response. I texted the dispatch number. No response. I emailed. No response. I used the live chat, and NO RESPONSE. Three days later, I get a response to the text. Apparently, they “ran out of time” and just didn't come. They didn't come. They didn't let me know. They didn't contact me to apologise. They didn't contact me to reschedule. And when they responded to me, they gave me the following “we don't schedule from here. Each location does its own scheduling. The best I can do is request service.” Can I cancel & get my money back? I can't take another day off work when they still might not come. Yes, but not conveniently. I can call back when there is a manager there and they can give me a refund. Okay, when is there a manager there? Tomorrow. Oh, that narrows it down. What a waste of time. I have no idea if the product is good. The service is too horrible for me to find out.

I love the Buzzboss services! They spray around the house and it keeps mosquitoes and spiders away!! I have a super high house and the spiders would build webs high up on the house. Now, they don’t. I’m loving this service!!They also have a program that we use, that will keep away voles and other rodents. Plus they had a wasp service this year too, which I used. We have been using Buzz Boss for a few years now. Our family can spend the day in the backyard mosquitoe free. Before pandemic when we could visit other friends we could not enjoy they backyard after dusk and our backyard is still very enjoyable. We find the customer support team very responsible, and customer focused any time we needed a respray due to wetter weather. We have been recommending their services to everyone we know that wants to enjoy their backyard. The hornets are also lower in the yard after we started.

First year using this service. At first I was very impressed. Now I have had multiple no shows and zero help from customer service online chat. They said they would have a supervisor call me did that happen? Nope. What a joke and now June is practically over and I have not been serviced properly at all so I just wasted my money for this month. This has ensured I will not recommend to my family and will not be using this service in the future which is sad because I am allergic to mosquitos so I would have been a life long customer.

He’s a great guy and Buzz Boss is lucky to have him. We live on the edge of the city and always have tons of mice. Having buzz boss set up traps really keeps the rodents at bay. Highly recommend.

I booked on a Friday, my visa was debited within a day, no reply or email to when they’d be out, I called Monday they said could be 3-5 days. They showed up unannounced Friday to spray. Friday I was stung by a wasp, still ants, still mosquitoes. I emailed Sunday I was unhappy with results, I received an acknowledgment of my email, but no follow up. I called Monday they said someone would call to follow up. Nothing yet. Think I’ll go back to Mosquito Tech. ????
