When calling to discuss our ant problem and see if Advantage was the best fit for us, the owner Paolo was extremely knowledgeable and ready to help. He was able to explain the different types of ants we may be seeing and how they enter the home. He shared his solution, which for us, was to get the interior baseboards and exterior of the home sprayed. When the service expert Paul arrived, he was extremely respectful. He wore a mask and remained six feet apart at all times while I showed him our home and the “hot spot” areas for the ants. He patiently answered all my questions and was very pleasant the whole time! After the product was sprayed, we had to stay out of our home for a minimum of 3 hours to let it dry so that it was safe for our kids and pets to be around it. There was a slight chemical smell when we entered but it was not overwhelming and faded quickly. I opened a few windows and we didn’t notice it anymore after about 30 mins. So far we haven’t seen any more ants, and I am SO HAPPY this problem has been taken care of! Thank you Paolo and team for doing such great work, and most of all, giving this mama peace of mind in her own home!

Wonderful and extremely professional customer service. We had a carpet beetle infestation that got out of hand due to us being in the NICU for 4 months because our daughter came 14 weeks early. Paul explained that because we were using steam and not insecticides to tackle the problem the infestation was going to be harder to address, but he and the Advantage team really helped us out. I submitted a request for an urgent rodent control issue through Homestars, and Paolo called me almost immediately. I explained my problem, and he was able to walk me through what he would do, and what my options are. I usually try and DIY where possible, which Paolo could sense, so he advised me on some of my options before sending in an expert. I followed what he told me to do, and came into his retail store to pick up some professional grade bait stations (where I actually ran into him in person). I called Advantage Pest Control after calling several other companies as my Aunt had a bad ant problem which were scattered on one side of the house and getting into the window jambs and along the baseboards. Advantage were easy to work with, answered all of my calls with questions and booked an appointment to assess the issues almost right away. After the treatments were applied, I received a call less than two weeks later just to ensure the ants were not getting back into the house at the areas attacked. This was a no brainer for me and should be a no brainer for anyone else looking to find a proper pest control company. Hands down the best. Thanks, guys!

I really liked their customer service and the inspector that came to our house was really knowledgeable and kind. He explained everything thoroughly as he did the work and went above and beyond with some other things in the house. The roach problem didn't go away the first time though and that's why I'm giving it a 4 star. They came a second time with a different treatment which worked a lot better but we still have a few roaches running around. I'm really happy with their 6 month guarantee so we're going to call them once more and hope for the best!

I had my kitchen and bathroom sprayed for roaches in my condo. It did not seem to work the first time. In a flustered state, I reached out to the staff at Advantage Pest Control and was taken care of by Sara. Due to COVID, scheduling was an issue on my end but she was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and patient with me while I was trying to figure things out. She took all of my calls/emails and followed up on all of her commitments and answered all of my questions - never once making me feel rushed. The owner of the company has also been very kind in answering questions when I have reached out for more guidance. I understand this is a work in progress, but I feel confident in this company's commitment in helping solve people's pest issues.

Hi I strongly do not recommend buying anything from the shop because recently I bought two different items for bed bugs two big bottles 3.9L and two aerosol spray cans these two cans when they were selling it they never weight them . so see and read this carefully. Those two cans which they never weighted them when they were selling it , I never use them and I didn't need them . so I went to the shop 2 exchange them with one big bottle of 3.9l and pay them the difference but there what I find out these cans are underweight which means they are used or leaked. how did they find out when I was there to return it they check the weight but when they were selling it they never check the weight I never use them so that means they sold me those cans underweight . Now they don't believe me and they don't want to return it or exchange it and I'm stuck with it now. The reason I am leaving this review because I don't want anyone to go through the same thing. If you think I am upset that's why I'm leaving this review yes I am very upset but at the same time I don't want anyone to go through the same thing again. Anyways you guys are smart enough to make your own judgment

I cannot forget the sound my wife made when found a rat in our basement storage room. She became obsessed with bad ideas of what could be happening in our home in the areas we cannot see. I quickly googled and called companies looking for help. A few of them were hard to deal with because they couldn’t give me much advice, until one of their workers could visit our home. Even that would take a while to schedule and confirm. Luckily I kept trying and found advantage pest control. The girl who answered the phone really relaxed my wife and I by describing the different solutions and then booking the owner someone to come see us the very next day. A strategic plan of traps and pesticides baited, captured and deterred any more pests from inhabiting my home. Now I don’t have to worry about hearing my wife startled every time she enters the basement. A job well done.

I recently used Advantage pest Control to help eradicate pesky flies that took over my balcony. I found Advantage to be polite, informative and really on the ball as they immediately identified the problem just from our telephone conversation. I spoke to Paolo and he immediately informed me about the problem and how he could fix it and he personally attended at my condo the next day to take care of the issue. Do use this company. Customer service is terrible. They do not want to get rid of the bugs, they just control them to keep treating your property indefinitely. THEY ARE NOT HONEST PEOPLE!!!

I tried my best to erradicate these ants myself as I have always been uneasy with using pesticides. I called quite a few companies but felt completely comfortable with Advantage. I had a mouse problem for 18 months. I called in a really nice guy, who went above and beyond his duty, but the mouse kept coming back. I finally called in Advantage Pest Control, dealt directly with Paul, and he came out personally to figure out the problem. That was 2 months ago and I haven't seen any 4-legged rodents since that day. Advantage also went to my mother's to deal with a carpenter ant problem in March. The ants were multiplying before your eyes, there were thousands! Once Advantage sprayed and baited the house, the ants were gone. Last night, out of nowhere, hundreds of ants came swarming in my house. YUCK! Advantage are on their way........

Contacted Advantage Pest Control after reading the great reviews on Google. We have a yellow jacket hornet problem in the front yard and we needed help getting rid of them. The gentleman who arrived was extremely rude and blamed us for the problem. I tried to ask questions regarding how long the treatment (powder) takes before it starts to work and I was completely ignored. When I told him I wasn't pleased with his customer service and that I was going to call the office, he stated that if I called the office he would charge me more??? Nevertheless, I called the office and spoke with Paolo who was very professional and apologized on behalf of the technician. I was pleased with the way the office handled the situation and i wasnt charged extra however, I will not be using this company again.

This is horrible service both from the representative in the field and over the phone. Please just take your 300$ and just go buy traps/ poisons yourself (mice problems) I called advantage for mice control. The representative came over, and lay 8 traps (in garage, kitchen, and basement) and he left. I was expecting him to have a thorough check up on the walls to see if there is any cracks, or identify if there is any potential risk with the structure. He did not do that and just charged me 300$+. 2 weeks later, I called Advantage and I asked if there was a follow up visit, they said it is usually conducted 2 month later. Fine, so I waited 2.5month later and I called them, the rep over the phone said if I don't see any more mouse, there is no more and she congratulated me. At this point, I felt that this company is so irresponsible. 4 month later, there is mouse in the house again, I called them because there is warranty, and they did come over. The Rep show up, and replaced the poison in all of the traps and left again. I asked him if he should check the walls or stairs. He said he checked already and nothing wrong. But that is impossible as I waited for him outside, and watched him get off his car and I greeted him then and we both walk into the house. If he checked the exterior of the house, I would know. He left within 5-10min, literally came in and replaced the poison (which I could have bought at walmart). He was in such a rush to leave. I asked what happens if there is mice again, and he started telling me if I want warranty, I can pay again and get warranty. This is horrible service both from the representative in the field and over the phone. Please just take your 300$ and just go buy traps/ poisons yourself.

I ordered 5 rat bait stations last March, (not cheap- but well worth it) as the rats seem to have colonized my area and several others around the GTA this year. Prior to calling Advantage, I'd spent over $250 on various traps and contraptions. ie Electronic rat traps($150 for 3). Looked great on youtube and company videos, but the closest I got to nailing one was finding some rat 'barf' outside a trap one morning.I guess I shocked one pretty good but that was it. No dead rats anywhere. I also used the old fashioned large mouse trap type style traps. They killed a few but then the survivors got smart and stopped going near these traps. Then more modern spring loaded rat traps and different baits,, and none went near these. ( I know because I set up trail cams to watch the traps and other stuff I tried) . I also tried some home made goodies like sugar, mixed with flour and baking soda,,which is supposed to make them blow up according to youtube vids. Again, no luck, just more rat barf. Even the old 5 gallon bucket full of water with bait above it wasn't working. Guess my local rats are smarter than your average bear. I've owned rats in my younger years and I have to tell you, they are smart! Smarter than some dogs I've owned! I'm serious! I can provide exampes, but this isn't the time and place. The thing about Advantage's bait and bait stations is that these things are 1) quality and 2) are the only way to defeat not just a couple of rats, but the whole colony! Rats are quite shy of new things and this applies to all traps. But give it a bit of time and they will be happliy chewing away at the bait in your bait stations. They keep coming back for more as they learn that these are a safe tasty food source. But in short order, they all start dieing! Works like a charm! And if you have any customer questions or concerns, like I did at one point,, Paul is quick to reslove everything. Top marks!

The technicians are nice and friendly but the company’s product just isn’t strong enough. They came 3 different times and couldn’t get rid of the cockroaches. I eventually found the nest and used a bait from another company to get rid of the problem. Save your money and get better quality product else where.

Ew, I totally had bed bugs in the sheets of my guest bed. Good thing I found Advantage’s phone number in time, as I had friends coming to stay the weekend. I was transferred to Paolo on the phone who listened to my urgent situation. He quickly showed up at my house with the equipment needed to eradicate the bed bugs. Surprisingly Paolo stayed with me after treatment to help ensure that the bed bugs had been blasted and told me what to do if they returned at a bad time. His advice and professionalism really saved me as people were able to use my bed with no complaints. I would easily recommend Advantage and their personal customer service to any of my friends and family who encounter their own pesky pest problems!
