The service tech put down a specific gel in areas we wanted and the ant frequency dropped dramatically in first couple days and then after 1 month seen just 3 or 4 over a few more months. The product works! We didn't have to call them back. Maybe the company can provide an express kit and allow person to purchase the product so the home owner can eject a little bit when required. I would order this again.

At first great. Technician was lovely. Front office responsive. They put the bait down then answered 2 emails and then ignored me when I wrote that rhe problem was still going. They say they have a 90 day guarantee but that would mean the company would have to check in or respond to concerns. If you want anything other than the bare bones or want a refill like other companies actually do, avoid these guys. I paid twice what I pay for good service now. I've dealt with other companies and never had service like this. Avoid this company.

I feel like I was ripped off. I got a quote for carpenter ant treatment $340+tax. The company sent a technician the very next day. The guy showed almost on time, he was wearing a mask and gloves and was distancing. There was no inspection, he just put gel in a few spots in the house, spending maybe only 10-15 minutes inside. There was no outside treatment, no treatment for the full perimeter of the house. Considering the amount of gel and the time spent, I feel like $340+tax is not a good price at all.

We had a very stealthy and acrobatic squirrel take up residence in the attic. We tried for days to deal with “Scratchy” ourselves and were thwarted at every turn. So we called the pros and they came immediately and installed a one-way door and within hours, Scratchy was evicted. They came back and retrieved their door cage and put a metal cover on the vent since Scratchy had eaten his way though the plastic one to get in. Highly recommend them. I hope I don’t need them again, but if I do they will be my first call. Money well spent.

Bedbugs are notoriously difficult to get rid of, as they often live and multiply for a while before detected. The service man rid two of three rooms the first treatment, and came back two more times free of charge to successfully rid the last room of bugs. Note: it does take cooperation by the home dweller to deal with mattresses and bed coverings, and with PCO’s spray the job was done. Took about a month to make sure new hatchlings were eradicated.

I had a contact, and the company was very responsive and missioned JJ quickly. And now my experience with JJ: I would like to express my absolute satisfaction with his work. He was very professional, attentive, considerate, and absolutely careful about every detail. I found him very polite and eager to provide all of the information I needed. He considered the social distancing and cleanliness protocols while inspecting every corner of the house: basement to attic. He very professionally found the reason for the attack: the openings between the bricks on the walls that had been left unattended by the builder. He filled all of them, put bite stations around the house. And the result was UNEXPECTEDLY EXCELLENT: No more mice in the next morning!! and up to now (4 months). This has been great! The quality of the work was good and efficient, but I don't think it was necessary to pay that much money for something that I could have realistically done myself. Had a mouse/mice hiding out in my car, called from work and they came to my work parking lot and investigated within a few hours. Looked around the car and under the hood for nests, droppings, seemed fairly knowledgeable. They put some poison capsules in strategic places around the vehicle. Maybe it worked or maybe the mouse ran off on its own, but either way the service was great and no more mouse. Price seemed around average, but for quality service I was satisfied.

I highly recommend this company. We found a wasp nest in our basement, I started calling around for quotes immediately. I called 3 companies whom I never even heard back from. I called Pest Control Ottawa Inc. at 9PM on wednesday, I was shocked to even get someone on the phone. They gave me reasonable quote and said the soonest they could come was the next day between 11 am and noon, the technician showed up right on time (even texted to say they were 15 minutes away) and were wearing a mask and gloves. Spoke to customer service representative twice over phone about bed bugs which was very unpleasant. He seemed annoyed answering my questions, and didn’t know what type of chemicals his company uses and wouldn’t even offer types he’s used in the past. I wanted to know for my health, my dogs health and he wasn’t helpful. When I asked about how long he guarantees he said 1 month and said he clears what’s there and can’t control if “someone brings them back after 1 month.” I warn anyone he goes with a 1 month guarantee because bed bugs are very small and can sense when chemicals are sprayed. They can retreat in our walls under floor boards, and wait for months until chemicals weaken and they can return. This is because bed bugs can live upwards of a year without a blood meal. Wouldn’t trust this company because of the guy I spoke to. Not helpful, not polite, doesn’t listen, and doesn’t seem knowledgeable.

I do NOT recommend them! I called them in to do an animal check as my cat had killed a red squirrel inside the house. They came and put mouse bait traps everywhere and said that should solve the problem...except that the trap hole was too small for a small animal (squirrel) to go into and it didn't solve the problem of where the squirrel got in! After a couple of complaints I was told I would get a refund…this took days and multiple phone calls to happen. They didn’t show up when they said they would, didn’t do the job they said they would and they sent Essen Pest Control (supposedly the same company?!) to do the work. Save yourself time and money – don’t go here!! After this I found Grady’s Wildlife Removal and his service was amazing, go there!!

I had squirrels in my house. They were in my kitchen cupboards and I was absolutely terrified that they would keep coming back or somehow get lose in my house but the gentleman from Pest Control Ottawa reassured me that he would make sure to remove them and prevent them from coming back in...and he did! He tried to catch them free hand but they kept going back into the walls and so ended up setting traps and told me what to listen and watch for and what to expect. He knew how scared I was and even gave me his personal cell number to call him directly when the traps went off and promised to come back to check on me the next morning. Great customer service and follow-up. Very effective spray even killed all other bugs though our main problem was spiders, nice bonus. You'll need to be out of the house for 4 hours while the spray is being applied and open some windows for the smell (cleared away no problem after a few hours of open windows). Within a day we started seeing results, almost no more bugs in sight and the rare sighting we only stumbled upon bugs which were already dead. Effective and low cost, would definitely recommend if you have a pest problem.

We were pleased with the service provided and the responsiveness of the company. The communication was good and reliable. It is difficult to determine how long it took for the rodents to be eliminated as we went away on travel a few weeks after the service call. If you fear you have rodents in your house, do not delay calling professionals as it is much more efficient than trying to resolve the issue on your own. These pests multiply quickly. One thing to keep in mind though is that you will need to find the point of entry of the rodents as this is not part of the service. Additional outdoor traps may keep them away from the house but you will need to maintain and replenish them. Overall, the service was very good and it gave us the reassurance that the rodents were localized in just one area of the house as they investigated multiple areas, and that it was possible for them to eliminate all of the ones in that area.

I called when I began hearing a large animal in my attic. I was told on the phone it was likely a raccoon due to my description. Was quoted $400 as a flat rate for raccoon removal. The technician came to my house and did a very quick inspection which was not at all thorough. I advised him that I thought the raccoons were getting in a particular spot on the attic where it meets the neighbouring townhouse. The technician took a quick look from the ground and advised me this was not possible. He put a bunch of mouse bait in the roof and assured me it was either rats or mice. For this I was charged $425 after tax. I had my doubts so I went for a walk around the block and was able to clearly see a large opening in the soffit from the street. The technician totally missed this. I had called what I thought would be the professionals to get my problem fixed. I understand that people make mistakes. I texted AJ back a picture of the opening and he acknowledged that his technician missed this. Then he told me it would cost me another $400 for them to return and set up a raccoon trap. I paid already $425 for the initial inspection and to have the technician throw rat and mouse bait in the attic. I explained that I didn’t think I should have to pay for a follow up visit when a technician had missed something so obvious that I was able to see and photograph it from the street. It was at this point that I explained I was not happy with the service at all and that I expected the owner to come to some sort of a resolution with me. At this point as soon as I explained that I would not pay for any further service as they had made a mistake on the initial visit he ignored me and I received no further response. This is not how you treat a paying customer. Lesson learned. This company does not value customers and once they have your money they will ignore any legitimate complaints about their work. Very good service. Showed up on time, wore his mask properly!!! Explained what he was doing, and answered all of my questions. Also gave me pointers on how to prevent mice from getting into our house again. Five months later and we haven't had a problem again. Now the ants, those are a problem. The guy that came was very professional and knowledgeable. He plugged few wholes outside the house where he suspected that the mouse came in and put 10 baits and the mice disappeared few weeks after.

We called for fleas and paid close to $400 for a very small apartment. Apartment got sprayed twice to no effect and getting ahold of someone on their cusomer service line is a joke. When we called for a refund we were only given $96 out of $384, the woman on the phone told me I agreed to things that she never mentioned. So dont waste your time and money here, complete scam.

Contacted them 3 months ago. They sent Essen Service to fix a mice problem. Followed all the instruction, the mice problem was not resolved. I asked them what else they could do at that time. But they could not tell me. I had a sense that they did not know what they were doing. I did not want to live with the problem any longer. So I hired another company. Don't wasted your time and money with them or Essen Service. Want to rate them 0 star but couldn't.

Honest guy! And that’s a big deal. I’ve googled bed bugs treatment in Ottawa and found several companies filled with fake 5-star reviews. I couldn’t find fake reviews on this one so I decided to give him a call. Upon his request, I’ve texted him some pictures of the bugs and he told me that non of them were bedbugs and non of them are a serious problem. He could’ve easily lied to me and gotten paid but he’s an honest man. And just for that reason I’d recommend them to anyone I know. And I’f definitely use them again for any bug problem in the future. Thank you!

They are super fast and efficient. They were at my house the next day after I called them. Did two more rounds of free spraying (guaranteed) within two or three weeks and after that we have seen not a single bug in two months. They are very responsive over the phone and schedule spraying and steam heating appointments right away and answer any questions you have even in the evenings. I highly recommend this company if you are dealing with bed bugs. Don’t forget heat drying and ziplocking ALL your clothing beside having treatment.

My experience sounds like the same many others had. Jerry was great, he is who I spoke with on the phone. Very nice and answered all of my questions. However, the technician did not show up for my appointment, no phone call either. When I called back the next day, Jerry was surprised and didn't understand why that had happened. We were able to get another appointment, and the tech showed up on time. He said he would need about a half hour, but was gone after ten minutes. It seems a little excessive to charge nearly $400 for less than 15 minutes of work.

Called these guys and within 2 hrs of calling were on site and did their job professionally and gave us information on how to keep them under control. They even did a follow up visit to make sure everything was working within 2 weeks no more rat problem. Excellent company with friendly employees and a good bang for your buck
