What a pitiful display of service I witnessed this morning. Without hyperbole, a technician showed up and within 5 minutes threw his arms up in defeat, said removing an animal from under a shed was “too hard” and had the gall to ask for full payment for said inspection. Frankly, I’m still shocked as I write this

I have small animals in the wall and made noise when you sleeping. I called go pest control and made an pointments. The staff works hard to check the garage and back yard and found several holes which may be the mice's passway. The noise is more and more less and I got three following up now. Hope it will disappear ASAP.

Warning RIP OFF Company Go Pest Control I heard a noise in the soffit of my house, I didnt know what it was and could not get up there as did not have the right size ladder. Called Go Pest Control. The guy said it was most likely a squirrel and need to get him out before he gets into the attic. Said it would cost 225.00. Expensive but what the heck do we do as we have to get it out. A different guy comes, puts the ladder there, opens the soffit to see what it is...A little tiny finch, which flies away. Guy comes down, takes a little piece to fill in the hole where he got in and charged us 310.00. He was here for 7 min. That adds up to how much per hour? I sent them an email 4 days ago and they never responded. So well here ya go....Don't use them

if you ever need this company make sure that the person that comes is not za we found mice in our house and called them. za was extremely unhelpful when he came for inspection for mice entry points. he barely did anything and i had to keep pointing out to him where the mice might enter from. it was basically me looking around and showing him how to do his job or where are the holes to close them. he looks like he has no idea what he is doing and hes so lazy like he doesnt want to do anything. and second time we called him he kept being late and literally asked if we really need him to come on friday's evening because its before the weekend. i did my own research and I was closing entry points today on my own. better than anything he did

I called Go Pest Control on a Wednesday and they were at my Condo that Friday at 1pm. The owner Eric was very knowledgeable and one of the only companies to guarantee their treatment for 6 months! The manager Mark was very experienced not 1 question went unanswered and all of my concerns were addressed. He was polite, professional and made me feel like he would/will be there with any issues I might have. I spoke to a lot of companies and this one was the the best price for the best service! They come multiple times do what ever needs to be done to make you feel comfortable and did I mention they guaranteed their work for 6 months!

He was very knowledgeable, polite and kind and on initital visit at -15 in a snow storm installed a trap door on the roof due to raccoons in the attic. He followed up to ensure they were gone and then secured the area where they had entered into the attic. Had a skunk living under our front step, so called Go Pest Control and paid $385 to have it removed. Mark left a trap, the skunk was caught and he took it away. 3 days later, another (or the same?) skunk was under the step. Called again, same process. A few days later, ANOTHER (or same?) skunk was back. I have lived in this neighborhood for 40 years and have never seen such a thing as so many skunks nesting in one place. You'd think a pest control company would up thier game at this point and come up with a strategy to keep skunks from nesting there, but no, they're content to just trap and remove (up to a limit and then they charge $50 per animal after that). Call Go Pest Control again, Mark comes back to set another trap but this time, he offers my wife a massage. Weird. Skunk is trapped, Mark returns, takes skunk away and offers my wife a massage again. Creepy. A few days later ANOTHER (or same) skunk is under the step. Mark returns with a trap, puts his hand on my wife's back and says "Let me know if you change your mind about that massage" Wife takes trap away and puts it in the garage because she now too creeped out doesn't want Go Pest Control to return. So now, we're out close to $400, still have a skunk under the step but the bigger pest is gone. So if you want a creepy guy offering massages, this is the company for you. If you want to get rid of skunks, I'd go with someone else.

There was a hidden wasp nest in my front porch soffit. Dani came out for the first visit and did a great job, but without access to the nest, the critters still survived. After a week Daniel came and applied another treatment that diminished the number of wasps, but it took a repeat visit from Dani to eradicate them. The team was extremely pleasant, willing to explain what they were doing and the office staff (Danielle?) were right on top of things and great about returning calls. I would definitely recommend Go Pest.

Had a good experience with both Mark and Daniel. Unfortunately the mice problem they set out to resolve is still occurring despite 2 additional follow up visits. For $300 I felt like they could have done more to find where the mice are getting in. They basically just put bait stations down and put more and more copper mesh under the siding but clearly it hasn't solved the issue. Very friendly and prompt service though. Wish I could recommend them.

As a senior, this was my very first ever experience with a Pest Control company. They were called to our home to investigate a problem with rats in our backyard. Additionally. this was a very stressful time as we had just placed our home of over 40 years on the real estate market. The technician (Colin Elliott) was very professional and sensitive to our situation. He had a very calming presence and immediately put me at ease. His inspection was very thorough and respectful of our property. I had complete confidence in his knowledge and recommended actions to address this particular problem. A full report of his inspection including photographs and actions taken were provided to me within a few days. I am extremely pleased with my experience with Go! Pest Control.

GO! Pest Control came within a day and sealed my dryer vent where a nest was being built. The birds built a nest the previous year (2020) and after multiple calls and emails to Capital Wildlife Refuge they would commit to serving but it seems they have too many clientele and never followed up with a visit and bird nest removal, cleaning and sealing of the dryer vent. In 2021, with the birds returning I got in touch with Capital Wildlife Refuge and like the previous year - calls and emails - and no show. I am sure Capital Wildlife Refuge are a good service but have lost me as a client since they seem to have too few workers and too many contracts. GO! Pest Control as mentioned came, sealed it from the outside and also went up my narrow attic to make sure there weren't birds inside the attic. They seem to have done a good job sealing my dryer vent with a thick metal mesh. I am just worried the birds keep coming back and pulling at the metal mesh. I hope GO! Pest Control put it securely that it doesn't come out! Jawad.

We have had a problem with mice in our century home in Markham. We were with another well established company and the results were very poor. We have now connected with Go Pest Control. They sent out their agent, Eric who did a tremendous job. He did not rush his visit. He assessed the problem, and has put down many bait traps both inside the house and outside... on all three levels of the house, including the attic. This is to be pro active... preventative of more mice coming into the house and eliminating what is already in the house. Go Pest Control will visit us again in 3 weeks to determine the level of mice infestation, and assured us that within 2 months or so our mouse problem will be gone. Eric really knew what he was doing. He knew where to put the traps for most effectiveness. He also explained well how the programme works. The cost was very fair for the work done. I would highly recommend you work this this company. If Eric is available, he is the key to the success of your mouse programme. He is very well informed, knows his product and his confident manner is reassuring that our problem is in good hands.

Go Pest Control has a C- review on Better Business Bureau and is not accredited! I paid $4520 for "a) A full day heat treatment and b) two-week follow-up inspection and spray application (called "apprehend"), if necessary". Go Pest Control's bed bug warranty states "45 day warranty includes 3 applications only". In other words, two technicians visited one day and did a heat treatment, then visited two weeks later and did a "apprehend" spray application. That is considered two applications. So where is the third application in that 45 days? I asked why a third application wouldn’t be needed to the technicians on site, and Go Pest Control’s technicians advised and said two things: 1. I DO NOT need the third application (aka second ‘apprehend’ spray). In other words, Go Pest Control advised that they did not need to the third application aka second spray of apprehend solution because within the 45 days he said there would be no bed bugs. He advised against the second spray application, even though Go Pest Control's 45 day warranty states that there are 3 applications. 2. Go Pest Control's site technicians (who are the professionals with expertise) advised me NOT to throw away the two beds that were infested. I took Go Pest Control’s professional advice and they only did the heat treatment and one apprehend spray. A total of two applications. Soon after the 45 days, I find adult bed bugs in the exact same location of the house and in the same two bed mattresses and frames that Go Pest Control’s own expertise technicians advised not to throw away and not get another apprehend spray application. I called Go Pest Control to request the third application (apprehend spray). Danielle Bissonnette, Operations and Business Development Manager at Go Pest Control apologized and offered a 50% discount from $2100 to $1050 for the third application (apprehend spray). Why am I paying for a third application for a service that I already paid for, and was included in the 45 day warranty (i.e. 3 applications in 45 days), when I received only two applications? Go Pest Control is fixing their own technicians mistake which advised against the third application. Go Pest Control’s technicians made a massive error and advised me that the third treatment should not be done when the warranty clearly states that there are three applications within 45 days. And, Daniel’s offer to sell me a third application at discount is an admission of the poor service that Go Service did to begin with and an indirect admission of the big mistake that their technicians did for advising against a third application, when clearly it was needed. Their technicians purposefully and knowingly advised people not to do more than 2 applications so that they don’t need to come back and do the third application. All I want is the third application that I paid for. If Go Pest Control can’t rectify that, I will move forward with a small claims court for services not rendered by Go Pest Control. If Go Pest Control simply abided by the contract and service I paid and included in the warranty "3 applications in 45 days", I would not be filing a formal complaint.

I was quoted over $2,000 for getting rid of a severe roach infestation in a vacant townhouse (the infestation was introduced by the former tenants of the town home). Over $2,000! I actually burst out laughing when I saw the quote so of course I went with another company whose cost was about 4X lower. I can't speak to the quality of their service as I never ended up using it. By the way, I was also charged $100 for the inspection of the unit, which based on the handful of photos I was sent, couldn't have taken more than 5 mins.

Its a little scary when you choose a company that said it will cost you 90.00 just for the estimate. In my case I own a triplex and when it comes to pest control and if you do the work yourself you are the one liable for the work done. Go pest Control is much more astute to dealing with tenants . They have the proper chemicals and they know how to deal with tenants. You cant buy the chemicals they use at Canadian tire. If you make a tenant sick with your Canadian tire chemical you are liable. I also had them come to get rid of squirrels and raccoons living in the eves of the house. I told them what I wanted done and when they were there they noticed other entry points and sealed them all without adding cost to me. They went to the top of the house and installed one way doors that I didnt even know were entry points for the raccoons. They even brought 2 men to do this job with no extra added cost. dont hesitate to Call this company. If I ever have this problem at my own house I wont even shop around I will just call Them. Also Dealing with them on the phone was a positive experience . They called me when they said they would and returned my calls quickly. By the way the estimate fee was waved when I gave them the go ahead to do the job.

Just moved into my first house, and everything has been an absolute nightmare! Everything is multiple steps and anxiety ridden. On top of all that, found out that we got wasps!!! Called GO! Pest Control, got through right away. They gave me an appointment within 48 hours. The expert arrived early and had zero fear. Within 15 minutes, half a football sized wasp nest was gone, and all that is left is a few dead wasps on the ground to sweep. Best of all!? After discovering mice droppings in my basement I contacted Go Pest Control. Mark was able to locate the point of entry in the house from an opening in the brick outside. He explained how the mice got in and sealed off the entry point. He provided useful tips to avoid the situation in the future. I would definitely recommend Go Pest Control to my friends

They dont follow up once they do their first visit and have to be reminded constantly, also they had no solution on how to fix our problem and ask if we have any solutions for them. UPDATE 2: The company has reached out again to see what they can do to make things right. They seem to be going above and beyond to fix this and they are clearly really conscious of making sure their customers are satisfied. I am happily surprised by this and am inclined to give them another shot based on this response. UPDATE : I received a phone call from the office. They seemed to genuinely care about my experience, disappointed that it didn't go well for me and wanted to know if there was anything they could do to remedy. Original review: Disappointed with the service. Technician installed skunk trap on the side of the house despite the obvious burrow beside our front door (with video of the skunk going into his hole), so we didn't catch anything for a week until I finally moved the trap to the correct location myself - caught the skunk almost immediately. Once the skunk was trapped (between Friday night and sunrise on Sat) no one would come to pick it up. I called and left numerous messages, sent emails and texts before someone finally came around 11:30pm. It felt inhumane to have this skunk trapped in the direct sunlight for a full day before being removed (without so much as a message back). Not to mention, it was preventing us from using our front door. Was also promised some kind of report (we had also inquired about a squirrel problem), which we never received - just their invoice. I was impressed with the initial call I placed to the company, but really disappointed by lack of professionalism, responsiveness. We encountered a cockroach in the office and immediately looked for pest control services. Go Pest Control were the first ones to return our call that same evening. The staff on the phone was really patient with me and calmed me down (I was freaking out!) and sent in their guy the next morning. We had a treatment done and had little stations placed throughout the office to monitor for any future activity. We had a great experience and would recommend them to anyone! We had a fairly serious mouse problem several years ago and called another company. They sealed the house but years later it appeared things were starting again. That company returned a number of times at no charge and we appreciated their service, especially so long after the initial work. But when we trapped five in July of 2020, we thought we would try a change and called Go!. Daniel came in August and sealed what access points he found. The company has returned a couple of times since then and have been friendly and accommodating. Nicholas came in the middle of January 2021 and we trapped one mouse the day after, possibly sealed inside the house. It's now February first. Here's hoping for future steady success.

They were so expensive, almost 3x the price I had discussed with others. There is no way it would cost that much to do what they listed. We rented out the house to student for a year and we got back the house with lots of cockroaches and other bugs. Thanks to GO! Pest Control for roaches treatment. We don't see roaches in our house anymore! Quick reponse! We emailed them and they called back within an hour. I have been contacted them couple times when I have questions. They usually response couple hours or within a day. On time service! We schduled our first treatment on May 21st at 12:30pm and Andrew arrived at excatly 12:30pm. He took him one hour to spray the house. excellent service! They explain everything we need to know or do when we met! Andew walked around the house and show us where he found the cockroaches. I thought that roaches only appear in the kitchen but in fact, they are all around the house. He told me that we better to get a second spray to fully exterminate roaches. Thank you for your explaination Andrew! After the treatment, we don't keep any water or food in kitchen.The first 2 weeks of the treatment, we found lots of dead cockroaches and few alive cockroaches in the kitchen and basement. After the third week, we don't found any alive cockroaches any more. They are nearly gone! Just in case, we booked an apointment for follow-up spray 1 months. They also response very quick and on time as Well! Now I can cook in my kitchen without worry about the roaches anymore!

Hired go pest control in the summer because the previous winter I had mice come into one room in the basement. Wanted someone to come in and seal where they are coming into the house so that this winter i didnt have mice problems. Unfortunately, with most exterminators, there service is about removing the pest instead of preventing where they enter the home. They had a practical plan, we put traps all through the house , and when we find activity I call them back so we start investigation. Unfortunately, there 300 dollars fee covers 3 months, so when i started having activity 4 months later ( October), they came to house and put down new traps, but in order to have them stop the problem I would need to pay another 300 dollars ( 600 total). So in reality i paid 300 dollars for a house visit, but never got service I hired them for in the first place. and was not better off prior to paying them 300 dollars.

We discovered mouse droppings behind the sink, fridge and stove in our kitchen. We called several pest control companies, and Go Pest Control was first to respond. We scheduled an appointment to deal with the mice and a representative (Za) was sent. He arrived and right away went to work without discussing a quote or what their service entailed. Za went about looking for entry points into our home, and during this I asked about the service. He explained something vague about a three month plan, and told me that he would explain later. This was our first experience with a Pest control service so we let him continue. He then went to putting poison traps in our home, without explaining that was what they were. I had to prod him to get an explanation of what he was doing. I asked whether traps would be an alternative and he said in his experience poison works best. I asked about whether the mice would die in the wall and cause a smell. He said no, that they would dry out, which I later discovered is not true. I asked him about cleaning and dispose of the mouse droppings and he said to simply sweep them, which is a hazard! Sweeping could cause you to breathe in the viruses harboured in the droppings, which can be dangerous. After this he asked for payment. I asked for an invoice, but he said payment was required first, which seemed odd. I asked what I was paying for and he said a three month plan. Feeling pressured, I payed and the receipt simply said that they would visit and check the poison traps two more times. I called a few other pest control companies following this and they were surprised with our treatment. They noted to me that it is standard practice that the service be explained prior to starting the work. I followed up with customer service asking to cancel this service since I felt misled, and the agent (Ariel) kept hassling me about why I would have paid for a service if I didn’t want it. When I explained what went down Ariel kept hassling me about it. He finally agreed to look into it for me, but has not called back after two months. It was the worst customer service I’d ever experienced. This company has great reviews on Google, but they are all canned responses. Do not rely on those! Read the longer reviews, this company does not have a good track record in those reviews.

The only reason not a full 5 stars is because it took a while to hear back from them when I requested a call-back as I could still hear mice in our attic. this could be in part because of the holidays so I'm not overly fussed about it. I was able to get the first appointment very quickly and the service was quick and efficient. 2nd service was more thorough as it was done in the daytime and therefore the technician could review the exterior of the home for access points. It was located and plugged. Additional traps were placed so hopefully that does the trick and the field mice decide to stay in the field! Overall I'd recommend.

DON'T USE THIS COMPANY - WORST SERVICE EVER! I chose to work with this company because they had good ratings but my experience with them was shameful. I recently purchased a house and they were called because we had discovered mice droppings. Initially I was sent a tech that was in and out of the house so fast that I had to pinch myself to even believe I wasn't hallucinating. They'll tell you that they come three times and until the problem is solved but what they don't tell you is that they put down traps, disappear a month, come back a final time after that and walk away with your money. We called several times and getting someone to come by means you first have to practically get into a shouting match with customer service and then they grudgingly send someone - who still doesn't fix the problem!! End result? Four or five visits, mostly all under 10 mins., mice NEVER controlled and still an ongoing problem! So what they say about solving the problem, blocking all points of entry blah blah blah? Don't believe it. Inefficient, oftentimes rude service. Pick someone else. UPDATE: Response from owner. To reply: Absolutely, I have no problem sharing my name - Marga - but will obviously not post my address for all of Google to see. Its a case of too little, too late Go Pest Control, sorry. No one wanted to help us before this review. Now there is a reply like someone actually cares. How shameful. Still one star.

Horrible experience with Go. Basically they took my money and never provided follow-up or honored their warrantee. If they can't handle small jobs like this, I would never trust them on a larger project. I called up Go for a wasp nest removal from behind the soffit on my roof. A technician came to remove a wasp nest, but decided to dust the entrance and pump insecticide into the space instead. He said he would come back in a week to re-treat the area. I contacted Go via email multiple times and never received any follow up treatment to remove the wasps. Basically once they had my payment, they ignored my emails and never came back to remove the wasps or honor the guarantee. In the end winter took care of the wasps, NOT Go!

Charged $450 plus tax to add some caulking to my windows which took under 2 hours. Did not use any pesticide which I understood would be used (on the outside). Said "life time warranty" which is only 10 years. Did not come back to finish a part of the job he said he would. They offered a free spray as compensation which I did not take (cannot leave the house for 24 hours in this situation), but in the end feel I was taken advantage of. I am the one who guessed out loud the price would be $500, and what a coincidence that it was. I was overcharged by an inane amount and of course it's my fault for not knowing better and agreeing to the estimate. Buyer beware, shop around, get quotes.

Wow was just reading the reviews and couldn’t believe the feedback..had to post something. I used go pest last year and it was a TOTAL RIPOFF. They came out late in the year to trap a skunk (which may have already been hibernating) and was told to call whenever it was trapped and if not then we’d try again in the spring. Paid my $380 and then come spring I got a phone call telling me to leave their trap outside the front door so they could come get it. I had to get rid of the skunk on my own and am still out of pocket for go pests “work”...very disappointing. Would NEVER RECOMMEND.

I called Go! Pest Control because one of our tenants discovered bedbugs in a 3-unit building. I would definitely call Eric again if I had a bedbug problem personally, he knows his stuff and his attention to detail was impressive.

First, I must say that Éric Mondor, the Field Expert, that handled our situation was both very knowledgeable and an excellent communicator. I did not appreciate that Go! Pest Control billed us for a second set of boxes, minus 10%, when we had returned the first set that we had purchased. I think that a customer loyalty program would be in order!

Saw rats under cement steps in the backyard and electrician confirmed rodents in the walls of hot tub (had had the electrician come in as half the lights in the hot tub were not working). Called Go! and showed up next day. Because I wasn’t home and husband was busy, he couldn’t ask the questions I had. Contacted them when I got home and they came back to meet with me. Nicholas took his time to go everything with me, answer all of my questions and reassured me. So happy that I called them and so far with the fast, efficient service. Would definitively recommend!

A tech came out within hours of my calling and thoroughly checked the area, inside and outside, to identify how the mice were getting in and where they had been. On the initial visit, the hole on the outside was sealed. The tech was back, promptly, for our next appointment to place the traps. Everyone was very friendly and courteous. Hopefully there isn't any need, but I would definitely use GO! Pest Control again.
