I always buy cookware from this place and look for sale price. There is always something on sale. Lacoste is a good quality frying pan. But T-Fal is not good for me. Variety of cookware is available always. Their garden section is very good and big too. Sports items are also available and have a good selection. Automobile section is only open for limited time. Need to schedule a head of time. We always buy auto cleaning accessories from here. Hardware accessories collection is good too. Good customer service. Store is always very neat and clean. Lots of parking lots including para parking. There are few automatic checkout which I don’t like. Recommend others to try this store

McMurray auto is at 8332 Manning Avenue on the corner of Manning avenue and Queen St. just behind Rona. When u order sometime online and pay for it already you would think it would be a quicker experience when to get to the store to pick up your item, but with Canadian Tire that is NOT the case, and this wasn't the first time either, there should ALWAYS be someone at the back counter to help wit the online orders, because that is the way of the world now (ordering online) and it should be am easier experience then it actually is.

I rolled into fort mac with a disastrous car issue from another mechanic shop on canada day, next day I called all around town and apparently not a single shop seemed to have any time or mechanics available due to a long weekend (weird for a friday...) and after trying everywhere I gave the auto repair office at this location a call and they booked me in same day and had the issue located and parts ordered to have it fixed by saturday. Very professional shop, fantastic customer service with the offering of different price points for options of repair, fantastic choice for stranded travellers or locals in need, of all canadian tire locations this one can certainly truthfully claim to be Canada's garage.

I am certified that nitrogen has been used to inflate my tires, despite the lack of green caps ... By checking the air pressure in my tires 2 out of 4 are below the recommended pressure and the nitrogen is currently inaccessible !!! I am suggested to come back! Or introduce myself in any Canadian Tire to make them swell with new nitrogen !!! Well yes easy like that ... I work from Monday to Friday, that's why I change my tires on Saturday! I then went to the Granby branch where I had a good service: for Chambly 0 out of 5 and Granby 5 out of 5! (Original) Ça dépend... J'avais R-V à la succursale de Chambly samedi le 26 octobre pour un changement de pneus et avais demandé de garder mes vieux pneus puis de gonfler mes pneus d'hiver à l'azote... Au moment de récupérer mon véhicule, les vieux pneus sont à l'intérieur et les petits bouchons sont noirs. En retournant au service, j'apprends que le travail a été effectué par un jeune de 15 ans!!! On me certifie que de l'azote a été utilisé pour gonfler mes pneus, malgré l'absence de bouchons verts... En vérifiant la pression d'air dans mes pneus 2 sur 4 sont en deça de la pression recommandée et l'azote est présentement inaccessible!!! On me suggère de revenir! **Redacted review. I feel that it's not fair to criticize a company or a location due to one isolated incident. Overall, this CT location has always met my expectations in the past.** On May 5, during my visit to this location at approximately 4 PM, in-store pick-up at the parts department was not this location's strong suit. Waited 10 minutes without anyone acknowledging me waiting in front of the department's cash registers. The gentleman working there was too busy sorting stuff in a red bin to be bothered by another customer asking him a question. After asking someone walking by for help and being told that she's doesn't work in the department, she calls him over. A sigh later, he asks me what I wanted, took his merry time to retrieve my order (solid 15 minutes), and another lengthy 5 minutes to process the paperwork. No exaggerations; not impressed.

Unfortunately I did not take the guy's name who we spoke to. But I think he might be a manager or at least a superviser of the auto mechanical side. He was really unhelpful and quite frankly, rude. I just asked him a question on how to find out what the Amp's is of my vehicle so that I could buy the correct fan belt, as one of your other employees told me that the Amp's makes a difference in the size of the belt. And they then sent me to your auto mechanical section, where I then had to ask this specific guy to just give me information,(not to do any physical work) he's answer to me was,"how do you want me to do that?!" And then he had numerous other sarcastic things to say. We then were not able to identify the correct fan belt and because of that, we could not support you by buying the fan belt. I just want to say that I will not be supporting Canadian Tire fsj anymore!

I bought a hose that had a 5 year warranty and after 1.5 years it ripped it got a hole in it. I lost my receipt but I went to exchange the item for something of higher quality. After 30 minutes of standing and waiting while the service rep looked for the item code and searched for the transaction, we found that I purchased it with an old bank account that I didn't have the card for anymore. The service rep tried to phone a manager but they would not come to the desk. She finally called them and they refused to honour the warranty. I was driving my car back home from Edmonton to the Yukon. My car had a fuel line rupture at the gas bar next door to the Fort St. John Canadian Tire. The auto shop was closed for the day. Audi Canada agreed to tow the car back to Edmonton for service. Unfortunately, I had to fly back to Whitehorse for work. The Canadian Tire Duty Manager, Lonny, was very helpful. She agreed to hold my car keys and give them to the tow truck driver once they arrived. She wouldn't accept any payment for this service. Very neighbourly. Very northern. And usually they stand behind their products and exchange anything that fails prematurely. Besides Certified 2 ton car floor jack 009-1039-6 I bought here snapped off at the lifting arm. Luckily no one was injured Oromocto CT wouldn't exchange because i couldn't find receipt. (Understandable but disappointing) If there is something of significant value (ie large price tag tools) you are looking at getting watch for sales or talk to the manager as he/she will usually offer you its recent sales price. Also best price around for laundry detergent and paper towels. All in all very nice store and I'm happy to shop here mutiple times a week.

Took it there for fuel pump in july, idiots fixed battery and radiator for starting failer. Coat 1500$ 1 week later starting failer again and was told bring it back to fix it for free. Poor service! After purchasing 107L bags of peat moss (which weight almost as much as I do) the staff in the garden centre would not help me to get the bags down from the high pallets and onto a cart. The first person I approached said “she’ll help you”, then ‘she’ said “he’ll help you”, referring me back to the first person I had approached. In the end I loaded the heavy bags by myself and hurt my back. This store is not recommended if you need help of any kind!!

Staff seem helpful to be reasonably able to direct you to the exact location of most items in a specific aisle. Contrast this to the customer service you see in other box stores in FSJ and you will be pleased. Canadian tire is getting things right with their online inventory that tells you if your item is in stock at your store or not, a very convenient feature.

Yesterday April 11th, 2016 we were called by the FSJ Canadian Tire about a shed we had inquired about. There was one available at the off site storage area that we purchased. We went to the store and the item had not been brought over from the off site warehouse so we paid and went to the warehouse to pick it up. The two employees Jonathan and Jorlan were absolutely excellent and delightful to work with. They were friendly, generous with helping us move the oversize item and all they wanted in return was a smile. SUCH a fantastic experience. While travelling to the east coast, "engine service soon" light came on and this was the closest service station available. Although they had closed one tech was cleaning up and stopped what he was doing to help. (I asked if he could read the code). Not only did he tell me the OBDII codes and cleared them, he didn't charge us. Pleasantly surprised.

The new store looks great! With so many changes it was hard to find the things we needed. It would be nice if the staff would take you to the item rather than simply directing you to the aisle. There were a lot of employees around but they seemed busy doing their own tasks. The staff in the garden center were amazing tho!

Went to Canadian Tire to get a socket. Walked around the tools department for 10 minutes and no sign of any workers to unlock the cage. Went to Customer Service and the lady paged for a guy to come see me in aisle 2. 10 minutes went by and nobody showed so I went back to Customer Service and the lady paged for a guy to come help me again. Another 10 minutes went and still no help. So I gave up and gave my business to someone else. Terrible service!

I like Canadian Tire for a number of things especially when I have an eclectic collection of things that I need. They have hardware and car stuff and cheap grinding discs. They have plumbing and electrical and paint. They also have an excellent hunting and fishing section in most stores. Very importantly their returns are straight forward friendly. The down sides that I don't like are that some of the stuff can be cheap, the bathrooms are often in a deplorable state and the employees that work there (even though they seem to be very good employees) don't seem to be treated that well (I base this on 3 people that I have know that have worked at Canadian Tire at different times at different locations. Overall I would recommend Canadian Tire as a souped up dollar store for all your various needs.

Stood at Return counter for 15 mins while the clerk ignored us and counted her cash. She finally saw we were waiting but didn’t serve us rather saying we had to go into the other long lineup. Other staff also saw us waiting but ignored us. The front line people are so important to a business. This front line person work in the stock room. Very unhappy experience.
