We got off to a poor start, as I did not expect a bill to inspect my home. I let Poulin's office know my displeasure of the $111.00 inspection cost, and was please to know they were responsive, understanding, and took steps to mitigate my displeasure.

Got them to come out to take care of a couple of wasp nests, one was in the siding of the house. They were a bit late in getting to my place (previous call went longer - I get it). Their guy applied the product, I got a brief explanation on everything, and he was done in a brief amount of time. I didn't see any wasps today coming from the holes (although it is a bit miserable today). Will give it a few more days, and if there is an issue they state they guarantee everything, so I am not really worried there.

They sprayed our apartment for bedbugs ~5 times to date and finally killed them all. Now they keep wanting to come back and keep spraying. They are hostile and not sympathetic to us and we are both disabled and my husband is very ill fighting cancer. They make us move our furniture every time and yet they are belligerent and not accommodating in any way. Now, somehow, they allege that a building infestation is our fault. If you are a tenant, Semitic or bold, beware! Because of them we are threatened with eviction from our new landlord who is friends with them.

I absolutely adore the two women working in the front office. I had called and Heather was able to make suggestions for me to be able to deal with wasp nest myself. When I got there, the two made me so much more comfortable with tackling the nest, sold me an effective product and educated me on the difference between wasps and yellow jackets. Staff at Poulins are amazing. Twice we've had some bugs in our house that we had never seen before. As a couple coming from a large apartment complex that had multiple units infested with bed bugs we had a bit of anxiety that we had brought something with us when we moved. They looked at the bugs immediately and confirmed what they were, no waiting around and amazingly, at no charge. They even educate you about the bugs so you know what they're doing there and how to control them. I hope I never have to use their pest control service ???? but keep up the great work!

We called Poulin's to help stop the ants from getting into the house. A guy came and put some grey powders around the house. We were charged $111.13 for the half-hour service and were told that the number of ants should be significantly reduced within a couple of days. After 5 days from the treatment, we still see a good amount of ants around the house and many of them still getting into the house. So I called again to see if they can come back to recheck it, I was told by the lady who answered the phone call that she will discuss with her manager and get back to me. Unfortunately, they didn't get back to me by the promised time and I need to call them again. I was told this time that they never promise they can eliminate the ants by the treatment and if we want them to recheck it it's another $111.13. We are so disappointed with the result of their service and their attitude to the costumers. The suggestions to people who want to stop ants from getting into the house: Simply go to home depo to get the ant powder and spray it around the house by yourself. This may or may not work but Poulin's service will not be better than it. Edit: The owner contacted me after seeing my review. He came by and examined the house and did another round of treatment. The amount of ant that came into the house reduced afterward but they still find ways to get into the house until my wife bought the Ant spray from Home Depot and applied it from inside of the house along the baseboard. In case you have the same ant issue as us, you can try the combination of ant powder (outside) and any spray (inside), this at least worked for us. Edit: The owner also did another follow up visit after a month from the second treatment. Really appreciate it. Changed my review from 1 star to 4 stars.

I bought there in store cockroach treatment, didn't work at all. Didn't even kill when I caught one and sprayed it with that stuff. Waste of time and cash.

Had Poulin's come out to do an inspection of a crawl space and give some suggestions about rodent entry points into my old cathedral house. I heard some scratching about 5 days after the technicians were out and discovered they had not replaced the door to my crawl space, after they inspected it... leaving it completely exposed and a free for all for mice. When I called the discuss this and said I would be happy to receive some trapping solutions (since for sure now, I have a mouse in there) I was told they would have to send the manager to "check". Fine by me.. if they would actually come back to my house. But since then, I have had about 4 cancellations and a couple of no shows, waiting for the manager to come and "re-check" the space. I've set aside time over and over to be cancelled on. I would just like for them to stop messing around and bait the spot. I'm now out $120 and have a worse issue then before I paid money for an inspection. On top of it, the lady I have been dealing with is incredibly rude when she calls to give me all of the excuses that I have been given over the past month. It is already a week into November and we called Poulin's to arrange this inspection in September well before snowfall. (we had been cancelled on a couple of times before they actually came on Oct 8th) I've also yet to hear from the elusive manager, as I'm repeatedly told he is a) out of town or b) has no truck at the moment I wish I could but I just cannot recommend hiring Poulin's. Unless you like to spend money and have no resolution, you are better off on your own.
