They came and provided a quick and efficient service for our windows that seemed to be inhabited by hornets. Just had James leave our house after inspecting our attic for a rat problem. He quickly identified 7 spots where these roof rats could enter and sealed them on the spot. He also inspected the perimeter of the house for possible entry points and recommended we cut back shrubs and tress that were touching the house. I also had James look for evidence of carpenter ants and since he could see no activity felt that we didn't have to do anything at this point. James was very professional, well spoken and knowledgable. He wore a respirator and gloves during his visit and was mindful of physical distancing. He called me an hour before our appointment as he was running ahead of time and offered to come earlier. I really appreciated that. James took the time to explain about the habits of the pests so I could monitor for any further problems. I would definitely recommend using Pest in the City if you're looking for quality service and professional, knowledgable staff.

In the presence of wasps I become paralyzed with fear, so when it was becoming obvious that nests were forming around our character home in Oaklands I knew I had to call someone in. Pest in the City were AMAZING! Not only did the administrator booking our appointment suffer through (and kindly have ALL the answers to) all my questions, but she provided what turned out to be an accurate AND affordable quote. When James arrived right on schedule he was professional, respectful of social distancing and incredibly quick. He provided great suggestions for keeping the wasps at bay AND gave some neat tidbits about other critters to watch out for in our area. I will DEFINITELY use Pest in the City again!

I had a carpenter ants getting into my house. I called for an appointment and was prepared to pay the larger amount for a year's service with follow-up visits. The pro that came to my house arrived on time and suggested that the problem would likely be addressed in a single visit and if not, the cost would be put towards the larger amount. Sure enough, the ants were gone within a few days. Nearly 3 months later the property is still ant-free! I will definitely have this company come by for yearly visits. It is money well-spent and supporting a local business!

Last year we had James come to spray for moisture ants in our bathroom. I asked if he could also spray the perimeter for spiders while he was here. James is very kind and easy to speak to. The ants were gone and for the first time since 2007 I didn't see the pesky wolf spiders. For the first time I was not stressed about the spiders and it felt great. Our ants have reappeared and I quickly called James again. Had him come back and spray again as well as the perimeter for spiders again. I am sure I will be calling again next year as we live in a rainforest. Best money I have spent. I love having the feeling where I am not constantly "looking" for insects. When we paid this company $550.00 to come and do an ant service, Daniel's wife said this was a life time guarantee, hence the high cost of service compared to other companies. They now refuse to come and we still have tons of ants, even less than a month after the service NO GUARANTEE until the problem is resolved, which they offered when taking our money. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND LOOKING ELSEWHERE.

Pest in the city answered the phone at 8:05PM on a Sunday. And was here to preform a carpenter ant inspection the next day at 11AM. The knowledgeable staff, walked around the perimeter of my house and provided me with a detailed report on what the issues may be. We are going to be moving forward with the next steps in eliminating the problem.

Good experience with James and Pest in the city. Carpenter ants had taken up in our home. When first outdoor treatment didn’t completely resolve the situation he came and did an indoor treatment and then another follow up with some bait traps, both at no extra cost. Good service and value.

We had a terrible infestation of carpenter ants in our house and it became worse when I discovered the location and disturbed the nest. I had also found two remote nests outside away from our house from following the trail of ants and found out my neighbor had actually traced the same nests from his own house as he is having an infestation within his own home as well. I made the call and James came out and sprayed out the nest area as well as the rest of the house inside and out around the perimiter. 2 days later we were completely ant free! It has been a month now. James is due back to respray later today as a follow up. In the past we have tried a couple other companies with little to no results. I would highly recommend James. Very knowledgable and communication has been exceptional! My neighbor is still currently having an infestation!
