You can tell he really loves his job as he’s happy to explain to you what and why he’s doing what he’s doing. My favourite part was the extra touch he did by clean up all the extra cob webs with his cleaning tool. Highly recommend this company and James especially.

I am so ecstatic with the year round program that Truly Nolen Niagara office has provided our home with .We did some renovations and noticed a rodent issue and I have a real phobia when in comes to insects and rodents but when I called Truly Nolen Niagara they reassured me they would send someone to get the awful situation that had developed in our basement under control in a timely fashion as I was concerned for the safety of my two children who love to play games in their new movie /game room but I didn’t allow them to play in it until I got the ok from Brandon the exterminator that was assigned to our home ;well it didn’t take long for Brandon to get the rodent situation under control so that my children could have their game / movie room back to hang out in with their friends .. Brandon went above and beyond my expectations He would check on the family from time to time to make sure we felt ok and safe from pests in our home .We were so impressed with Truly Nolan services and particularly Colleen in the Niagara Office and Brandon the rep assigned to our home that we without question signed on for an all season maintenance for pests which has given myself and our entire family the most important factor to this experience which is Peace Of Mind .... ! I would certainly refer this company to my extended family but when they checked the system most of them already are using Truly Nolen Pest Control !! I give this company and it’s associates A +++!! Everyone likes to talk about negatives on Google but I feel good work should be commended on Google So we Thank You Truly Nolen for keeping our home free from pests !! When I lived in Florida we had a roach problem I was a little girl but remember the Truly Nolen Mouse Vehicle showing up in our driveway and they helped us back then over 45 years ago and they helped us now in 2019 and I am so happy that we have a hired a company that has a proven track record and also trustworthy which is key ;given today’s marketplace .You will not be disappointed with Truly Nolen Niagara !!

It’s been just over 6 wks since I signed with Nolan. I feel the company cares about your home and appreciates the frustrations of the home owner when it comes to ants and other creepy crawlers you don’t want inside your house. Extremely efficient at each visit. Pleasant and knowledgeable and honest. Attending appointments scheduled with regularity and so far, always available for a last minute changes. Brian, James and Daniel have all been a pleasure to work with in the eradication process. Fingers crossed this company can help rid us of the ants we have been with fighting for years!! Have tried another company and they were awful in their approach and left my home filled with stupid (useless!) dots around the baseboards of my home. Thankful Nolan did not take this approach!!!

It is not cheap to pay the bed bug treatment but worth it. They offer me unlimited services in three months guaranteed, the bed bug completely disappeared in the second service with Brian. My tenant said Brain is good manner and trustworthy.

Our first experience with truly Nolan was great. The next two times they showed up unannounced! The first time I wasn’t home but my girlfriend kindly asked the guy to leave schedule an appointment and come back. Not a fan of how they just show up without a call/ email / text, but whatever thats there business model, albeit shady if you ask me. This time was the final straw, it is 7:45 am, (August 28 2018) and my girlfriend is getting ready for work, she hears something going on in the back yard. She heads to the open window and takes spider spray right to the face and eyes. She screams and i run to see whats going on and she tells me someone is in the back yard and is spraying the house and I just got it all over my face and eyes. Immediately I tell her to wash her face and eyes under water. I head out side to see what the hell is going on and there is one of your employees walking around my house! I tell him what happens and his answer is “oh I get it on my face all the time, tell her I am sorry” Your SORRY! You couldn’t give us the common curiosity to knock on our door before doing your job I ask? Another genius response out of your employee was “I didn't think anyone was home” You blocked in two of my cars when your parked across my driveway but didn’t think anyone was home I replied? Told him to leave my house NOW! I don’t know who runs your business but you need to look at hiring competent people, if you simply cant knock on someones door to let them know your here doing some work then you need to find a new job. Do yourself a favour and work on training your staff to learn how to handle people rather then just killing animal and insects. If a 0 star rating was an option I would make sure you get it.

Prompt, reliable, and best of all they got rid of our wasp nest. Took it away! Other companies were going to leave it there after spraying. Problem with that is when you spray daytime not all wasps are in the nest, so if the nest stays there, they will still be buzzing around it. Best to take the nest away!

We are very impressed with Truly Nolen. We have a small business in our home and had an ant problem which is a huge concern when you have clients in and out all the time. James was our technician who initially set us up to fix our ant problem. He has been in pest control a long time and had answers to all our pest concerns. We have outdoor cats and he elivated our worries about safety of them. He also did outdoor spaying to get rid of spiders. James or another member of Truly Nolen continued come back and fill the ant traps. We did have have some spiders come back outside in the summer and they came right away and sprayed again. we are very happy with the service they provide and an extra shout out to James for going above and beyond for us. We are happy to say we are still ant free!

Rat Problems

Had rat problems in my garage. A big male, female, and 5 pups. I tried 2 other exterminator services and nobody wanted to do the work. Called truly Nolan and they sent a specialist down. He was polite, professional, and confident he could tackle the problem. The pups died off within a week of bait being set. The adults took a bit longer but they were a lot smarter. It took a couple more weeks but finally the problems solved. Very impressed. The fellow showed concern for my dog and worked with me to ensure he could not get at the bait, and left me very detailed instructions if he did . Aside from that he offered me instructions to help safeguard the home to prevent future infestations. Thanks guys

Our property had several pest problems and we choose the Four Season package to alleviate the pests. Between carpenter bees in our garage, carpenter ants in our maple tree, wasp nests in garage, ants in general and a morning ritual of battling through spider webs, Truly Nolan was able to eliminate bees, wasps, ants and reduce spider webs to a minimum. Excellent service! Very professional and attentive and very, very tidy! The technicians were knowledgeable, approachable and very personable. They put me at ease and were very thorough. They did an initial assessment and made recommendations. In all, there was a treatment visit with two additional follow up visits, spaced weeks apart, to assess and confirm no further incidence or issues. The technicians explained the procedure (I had mealy moths in my kitchen cupboard) and provided information that assisted me even beyond such as looking at prevention (no more boxes of cookies or cereal - everything in containers). I never knew that these can be hidden under the flap of a cereal box, bag of pasta etc and come from the warehouse...but once in your cupboard and laying eggs..... I would highly recommend this company on many fronts - cost is very reasonable, technicians are knowledgeable and genuinely engaged and friendly and I really appreciated the personal follow up vs no further contact, or just a phone call with what you might generally expect. There is pride demonstrated with the quality of service and excellent customer care! 5/5 for sure!

At first the service was great. Then our contract expired and we discussed continuing the service in May on a month to month basis. June came by and nobody came by. July and Now August and I finally called to inquire about the service we requested. They tell me now that due to the time lapse I will need to pay for another inspection and analysis for $69.00 before we can continue with the service. They neglect me for 3 months and have the audacity to request we pay again for them to tell me what we need. When I asked Michelle to have James(a supervisor) call me to discuss my situation and lack of satisfaction Michelle tells me this is how it is and James will not be calling me. WOW!! The worst customer service I have experienced in years. Based strictly on James not willing to call me I would never recommend this company to anyone again. I will even be cancelling their services at my business once the 12 month contract is up and deal with someone who cares. 08/26/21..I thank Truly Nolan for doing what should have happened before I posted this first review. I did make multiple attempts to continue with the service via text messages that all went unanswered. To say I was considering their offer only took 1 day for me to reply. All I wanted was to continue with the service that was agreed upon in May but somehow fell through the cracks for 3 months. Thanks again for honoring the agreement without additional charges.

First I will say I did not have to use them since it was one mouse in the wall that ended up dying (long weekend and they were closed). But the information they gave me and the time they spend was outstanding. They even offered a smell bag that would absorb the smell if there was and would be gone in two days. Brandon was patient with my desire to have our home invasion solved immediately...patient in that he came weekly at the onset, each time taking the time to explain the process and assure us that over time there would be results...and there has been...internally our home is rodent free. Ours is an older home, hence many potential entry points. - Edit Even a wildlife service would not charge $500 to place steel wool or lattice over a 1" x 1"space, even the entire 20ftsq2 run of the back of my property would not justify this expense, and your on site tech suggested against trapping. The phone rep told me the stel wool was an option today(when on site rep said it was not) and offered to complete this work. So i am confused as to why I am again recieving inconsistent info in regards to what services are actually offered by your company. Realistically I will wait the required time and continue this matter with my credit card company. After attempting to recieve a refund I was told that what I was asking was for indeed provided but only by sending another tech out. He knew they would find other ways in and out of our soffit and house. They came and re-sprayed dust to finish the job professionally. And the kicker was that we located a huge yellow jacket hive in the bulkhead just inside the house and Daniel removed that as well. He even managed to kill the queen. Job well done in every way. We are pleased we called Truly Nolen first for pest control service. Daniel and everyone we dealt with was efficient , friendly and very professional. I had used another company for several years, that did an outstanding job, and never a problem. Truly Nolen had sent me a flyer/advertisement to try them for a better price. I thought why not, give the new company a try and save a little as well. Nobody there told me there may be a problem with the product before using them. Very Disappointed with their service. I would not use them again. I had them come and spray the outside of my house for spiders. They seemed to do a good job at first, but then I watched and noticed they did not complete one side of the house. I actually had to call them back to complete it. Okay no big deal, perhaps an oversight. Later I noticed that the chemical spray they used discolored and/or damaged my soffitt and fascia. It caused the light colored soffit and fasica to discolor and turn a dark color. grey almost black color in patches of various places on my house. I tried washing it off, but it was just about if not impossible to remove. I'm not sure if it etched it or not. I contacted Truly Nolen and at first they said it was likely just some dirt. I pressed them on the issue and they did acknowledge that the chemical they had used had caused some problems for some people and they had heard others with similar complaints. I asked them to make it right as I wanted to reuse their service if they were willing to clean or correct the problem. They promised to come out within 3 weeks or so and scrub/clean etc the discolored areas. I agreed to this and thought wow, a genuine company that cares about the customer. I was mistaken.... They never came out, they never called, they ignored me and now I have wasted another 3 weeks without spider control, and need to book with another company who does a proper job. I also need to correct this issue they caused on my house. I will not use Truly Nolen again as I fear they have a substandard product, and do not "Truly" take care of the customer when a problem arises. I did give Truly Nolen a chance to correct the problem before I wrote this review. They said that they would, but they never did contact me or come out to follow up and correct what they said they would. Thank you.

Highly recommend!! We found that wasps had found not only one location near our back door of our house, but a second location above our front door!! After spending over $100 on wasp products and traps to attempt to take care of the problem ourselves, we finally had to give up and seek professional help to reach these nests which were deep in the walls of our house. Thank goodness Jeff accommodated us last minute on a Friday afternoon to come out and get rid of out wasps!! Unfortunately, as a desperate novice pest controller, I had plugged the holes to the nest after spraying, not realizing that this was exactly what NOT to do! And so this made the wasps extra mad and aggressive! Yikes!! Despite this clearly making Jeff's job much more challenging, he calmly explained things and answered our questions, and then went ahead and sprayed both our nests, amid a wild hoard of angry wasps... without even getting stung!! Not only that, the one fee I paid covers the cost if they have to come back at all this season, even if it is for a new next!! Worth every penny!! Thank you Truly Nolen!!
