Travelled for 2 weeks this winter and came home to mice in our main floor suite! Pest Detective answered my call on a Sunday and was able to come within 24 hours (first thing Monday morning!) This was SO convenient. The two men who came were very friendly, professional and knew exactly what to do. They followed up with a visit 2 weeks later and there had been no more sign of mice!

I hired a technician from Pest Detective in October of 2017 to exterminate Carpenter Ants that had infested certain areas of my home. A exterior foundation treatment was done ($300) and the technician also went up into the attic to treat an area that showed recent activity (frazz). However, after the Fall and Winter, the ants came back in full force. This wasn’t entirely unexpected since we had learned the problem was extensive. In March of 2018 we hired Pest Detective again to do a full scale structural treatment ($900). One month later the Ants were back. After expressing my reluctance to pay for the structural treatment without ensuring its effectiveness I was told that a $190 warranty grants unlimited follow-up treatments. This is where my disappointment and frustration has leveled up. I have called Pest Detective a half a dozen times asking for a technician to return to do the follow up treatments since we are seeing more and more ants everyday. Not one of my voicemails were returned. I have been calling regularly for the last month. I would ask for Pest Detective to get a hold of me. Return my calls please! I am a customer who has shelled out a considerable amount of money ($1200) to this point for services that are advertised to solve my ant infestation problem. If I don’t hear from a representative soon I’ll have no other course than to conclude that Pest Detective services are ineffective, unreliable and seemingly untrustworthy.

My girlfriend and I recently had noticed a few moths flying around our apartment. Upon locating where they were coming from, we promptly called Pest Detective after seeing they had such good reviews. We weren't disappointed. I spoke to a man named Robert who had quite an extensive knowledge of our problem, how to resolve the issue, and how to mitigate pest problems in the future. He also went over their product used, and how they are safe for our pets. We scheduled a technician to come out and were more than happy with Philip. He also had extensive knowledge of both product and procedure and put any concerns we may have had to rest. He made sure to ask us if there was anywhere we didn't want sprayed, or which areas he should really focus on. Philip even parked down the street and ensured he wasn't spotted by anyone while he gained access to the building to ensure our neighbours wouldn't have to worry. They offer a free touchup after 3 weeks as well as a warranty of service up to 3 months. I forgot to ask Philip to spray inside our dresser drawers, but they were so great about it. I actually scheduled them within the 3 week period, fully expecting to be charged as they don't normally come back before then, but they didn't even bill me for it. Top tier service, I'm telling you! All in all, I would have given Pest Detective more than 5 stars. If you're looking for professional, polite, courteous, and responsive exterminator, look no further. These guys are the best!

Left work early to come and meet the technician from Surrey Pest Detective to assess our carpenter ant and wood bug issue. After inspecting the house he assured me I would have a quote the next day. Waited 4 or 5 days then called to check in and was assured again that I would receive my quote very shortly. 2 1/2 weeks later and I stil have not received a quote or even a call. How can you trust someone to do a good job if they can’t keep their word on delivering a quote. Brutal. Would never trust these guys in my house. If I could go zero stars I would.

He wrote a detailed report so I could pass it along to strata. He came for a follow up and the results were a great, the mice were gone and hopefully stay away. I would recommend this company.

I had mice problem in my house i called pest detective they came and put some poison traps around the house and I was told they will do a follow up in 2 weeks they came back after 2 weeks and put more poison traps and problem was still not fixed they are not clear on there warranty they only give warranty if they fix the entrance places for mice to get in but they did not make that clear they are just money eaters this is the worst company i have ever seen not recommended find someone who is better they don't even pick up your calls after there 2 visits don't waste your money on them

As a new client of Pest Detective who had a rodent problem in my address, I would like to offer my appreciation for the efforts of Mr. Phillip Sun. When I called to book an appointment with you, Phillip was the technician who was assigned. He arrived right on time for the first appointment and all subsequent ones and was very easy to deal with. Phillip listened intently and asked probing questions related to the matter to better understand what was taking place. After hearing all the details and inspecting the house and property, he developed a plan and outlined in detail what he felt would be the best application to deal with the problem. Over a few visits, Phillip continued to reassure me that the process would be effective. During each visit he educated me with respect to what I would experience and witness as his plan unfolded. In the end the approach was very effective and all activity has ceased to my relief. Part of Phillip's tutorial was how to most effectively seal off the probable entry point to prevent future trouble from the rodents. This is the first time that I have had to use a pest control company and from my experience with Phillip, I would not hesitate to contract Pest Detective's again and would refer your company to anyone I know who would benefit from your work as I did.
