"DON'T CALL OR USE" Peninsula Pest Control is a joke and a scam and a rip off. The owner Stuart Brinkman is the most unprofessional sales & service person I have ever met. Stay clear from this company. The website is fake, it states that "they will always provide a written guarantee before beginning any pest control job, so that you will understand every step of their process and know the results on what we can expect". This is false information and advertising. I have ant issues, and paid $344.65 (only accepts cash or e-transfer, I paid e-Transfer for a trace) for a spray that was 15ml per 1 gallon (should be 50ml per gallon) of Dragnet pesticide. 1st spray was 02april2019 and the current ants that got sprayed died and within in 4-5 days, I started getting ants in other spots that I never had before (sink drain, microwave, dishwasher, on top of stove), my original problem was only in my pantry. I called back 09april2019 to explain the increase of ants and was blamed by Stuart, he said i wasn't following proper process and protocol. the only verbal thing he said (not written guarantee) was not to wash, sweep or vacuum my house for 2 weeks, which I hadn't. He was so fast to blame me and point the finger at me, (said that i left it too long and it got out of control. 2nd spray was 18april2019 (he was resistant cuz it wasn't 4 wks) refused to take off his outside work shoes when I asked him he stood there and argued with me that they were clean. I still continue to have a large amount of ants, there is no relief yet and it's been 5 wks. I want a refund as there was no written guarantee given to me as per his website. He refuses to refund me. His website states that there is a team of technicians which is false. it's only him and that's it. He said there's a partner which opened the business 30 years ago named Rodney, who is a owner. I asked for his contact # and he said he can't give it to me as he doesn't deal with service calls. He speaks as if I am stupid and not intelligent. I asked to see his pesticide license and he refused to show me. There is no HST # on my receipt (which he says is my written guarantee). I have already reported him to the BBB (Better Business Bureau) and I will YELP him also. He shouldn't be in this business and rip others off. I WANT A FULL REFUND.

The other times he came, found severe infestation of bed bug's. All my furniture, bed, gone. Good Luck 2 you.

Back at the end of February I realized that I had a rat problem. I contacted Stuart from Peninsula Pest Control. He was very professional and meticulous with his explanation of how he was going to get rid of my rats. He told me exactly what I was going to get for the price he charged and gave me a guarantee. He was prompt and timely with his appointment to come to my property. He also came back to re-bait any of his traps that were empty. My rat problem has since gone. I would highly recommend Stuart and his company to get rid of any of your pest control needs. I was extremely satisfied with his service.

We had this company come in to help us get rid a bug problem we were experiencing. He assured us he would spray and the problem would be taken care of. Well, he charged us $400 and ended up coming back 4 times to spray then we had to call him back a fifth time and then wanted to charge us more money. I would not give this company a recommendation of any sorts. They do not know their business and as far as I am concerned are only outt to take our money and not solve the problem.

i keep changing my rating because the exterminator would bring it up and convince me to change it. However, he deserves zero stars, and no one should ever hire this company to deal with a hard job. Months ago, around June or July (it was so long ago I can't remember right now), my apartment became infested with bedbugs, spread from another, heavily infested apartment. Since then Peninsula has completed failed in getting rid of the infestation. I tried telling them what the problems were; lack of proper information given to tennents about what to do, only using one kind of treatment (not using, or even suggesting, the use of traps or any other methods we should use as well) and not coming back to the apartments to make sure the treatment was effective. He also didn't spend much time actually doing the treatments in the first place, compared with what another company might do. However, a month or so ago, after not checking to see if his treatments were effective, the infestation spread to the other apartments once again and, despite suggesting another pest control company, he was called back. That's when he convinced me to change my review, which I did because he convinced me that it was either not his fault (someone should call him back if they see bed bugs, which would make sense if he actually examined it himself, and it's apparently not his responsibility to make sure people in the apartments he's spraying know what's happening) or he would change to make sure the same problem didn't happen again. It happened again. Thankfully less extreme with only one huge but dead bug instead of many, but just because I can't see or find any more doesn't mean they aren't there. One star, and this time I'm not changing it until after the infestation is gone. He needs to start showing up every couple of weeks to monitor the source of this infestation, not when the bugs start spreading to the other apartments, because it's obvious that the source of the infestation needs more attention than it's getting. There's no excuse for this, because he could have set a time and date to come back the last time he was here, but for some reason he didn't do that and then just never showed up again, so he obviously doesn't care about whether or not the bugs are actually gone.
