I was introduced to this company by a very knowledgable gentleman, Javed I believe. He thoroughly explained the service for Terminix As I was experiencing ant and carpenter bee issues plus mice in the garage this service was perfect for me. Javed walked me through the process and it was good for my needs. I signed and had a tech at my house within 3 days. Amazing! William came to my home and explained the process and exactly what he was going to be doing all around my property and garage. William was clear and very personable.. It was a very good experience and I learned quite alot. I will look forward to seeing William in 3 or 4 months. I am a very satisfied customer. Thank Deborah

Overall the experience has been decent with Terminix. The pests are less and less evident around the house. They came quickly to replace an ant bait station, that had been damaged, quickly and at no cost. Recently, there was a mistake in scheduling and they did service twice in a months time. They voided the cost of one of the visits. The costumer service I have received is timely and respectful. Scheduling can be difficult, at times, to ensure there is someone home to let them in since inside is where they need to come to check bait stations and traps.

When I was looking for a professional service to be efficient in taking care of a mice infestation in one of my buildings, I found this company, Terminix Canada, and I am beyond grateful for their services and quality of work. I spoke with Alisha when booking my services for my tenants who was incredibly professional, well spoken, polite, and efficient at ensuring my needs were going to be taken care of and done right the first time. The technician, Aness, was effective and helpful in treating the unit for the mice. Now, my building is mice-free and I am beyond happy with their services. Set up an appointment and someone came out. He said someone would be out in 2 weeks. Waited 3 no one showed up so I call and I was told I had to call for appointments. So I scheduled one and lady said give us 24 hours we will text you with your appointment time and date. Three days later no text so I called. I was told it was going to be two more weeks till someone could come out. I talked to a manager about getting my money back and cancelling she said well we can cancel but to get your money back you have to give us another chance to fix what the problem is. So I kept the appointment. Still had a big problem called and canceled they wouldn't give money back so I disputed it with my bank cause I had proof I had to pay someone else to take care of the problem now they are saying it's a valid payment and one lady said I didnt even pay them. Be ready for court guys cause yall have screwed to many people over and I'm not the one.

I am very glad to review the services rendered by Terminix Canada, I have an ongoing rodents issue for so many years,. Local companies use to come and do the stop gap arrangements but could not figure out the root cause of the problem, Mueen and experienced highly professional Technician came at my premises and did the thorough inspection and found a hole just under the electric inlet wire which was entry point for rodents. He fixed the hard to reach hole and no more problem afterward as he inspected the attic for activity, issues resolved for ever. Very happy and satisfied with the service.

I filled out Get A Free Estimate on the Terminix Canada website. About 30 minutes later I get a phone call(had preferred communication via Email). The sale rep said his name was Mike and that it would cost anywhere from starting at $300 up. I was like, but how are you charging me when you are adversting FREE ESTIMATE. He tells me he is not aware of this promotion. Ask me to hold so he can check the website. Comes back on the phone goes "oh yes I see it", but is still insisting that I will be charged for someone to come out and inspect. I asked for a supervisor/manager "oh they are not available" I mean is this a scam Terminix???? Y'ALL need to be reported to BBB.

Terminix is a nightmare to deal with. First, they do not "terminate" by themselves. I have had to call them several times to cancel their services because if you don't cancel, they auto-renew. Despite my efforts, their retention department keeps harassing us with phone calls, emails, and invoices.

The first few months we used this company was a good experience. We started to notice our bug problem getting worse and requested extra services. We noticed that we were being told that the extra services were being done without seeing any technicians show up. There is ALWAYS someone on our property and multiple cameras throughout our property. After a very long and drawn out process of trying to get canceled and trying to resolve the issue of being charged. It has now been 4 months and i have had 3 different people tell me that the charges would be erased and i would not be charged or bugged again. Then again just THIS MORNING I get a text asking to call because i have an out standing bill and a service that needs to be done. HOW DOES THIS BUSSINESS STAY AFLOAT! ABSOLUTE JOKE OF A COMPANY! Technician, came to our door and offered service. We accepted. There were two men. One inside and one inside. I sat outside and the one outside was through in about a minute.(we have a huge backyard)They left and I told my husband, where are they, because he did not do the whole yard. Waiting for the next treatment date, we had more spiders and ants. They sent me a generic message, saying they were coming out to do our second service and to leave our gates open. I texted back and said, we are not home, please call my husband to set up an appointment. They never called.my husband and I both tried calling and texting. They never called. I got another generic text stating they would be out yesterday. I called and texted them to say, we could not do it that day. We tried calling and texting again. Finally got a hold of office worker and she said tech was scheduled to be here at 8am to 10am., this was after 11am. She got ahold of the tech and told me he was pulling up outside my yard.( I had told him by many text that we could not do it today and please call us to set up a good appointment time. As, I said no response. When he did show up, we ask him why he’d did not respond, he said he did not have the ability to call us or have voicemail. He also said he was to busy to respond. My husband, told him we are canceling our service, so I am requesting not to be charged any further for this service. Still have pest!!!

After discovering a termite swarm in my home office, I made an inquiry online about treatment. I received a phone call within 20 minutes to schedule an inspection for the next day. Within 15 minutes of that call, I received a call from Ryan B. Hayes informing me he was available then and could come immediately. Mr. Hayes was very informative and helpful when explaining the results of his inspection. He presented several options and explained the pros and cons of each making me feel very comfortable with the treatment I selected. The technician that applied the treatment came within two days, contacted me the day before to arrange treatment and did a good job of cleaning up after the application.

But once they did show up, they did a nice scan around the property and applied all the necessary product to fight back our pests.

A pest control company is only as good as the technician assigned to do the treatment. I am fortunate that two of their best technicians are doing the treatments in my building. I have Manny doing the monthly common areas and Arshad doing the in-suite treatments. Both guys are doing their jobs pretty well.

Fraud business, they use a liar salesperson that asks you to provide your card info to make sure it is you, in reality you sign a "CONTRACT" and they charging you money without any notice every month and when I called I talked to a guy name Rob Davis the 'MANAGER' that was rude and said that I signed the contract and its all my fault. in the end he agreed to cancel my idiotic "CONTRACT" which btw no one ever even showed up to perform any service lol and its been more than a month today, and what I found out? They charged me AGAIN! ZERO STARS !

If I could give a zero star rating, I would. I used terminix in the past and had loved the service they gave. I cancelled my contract in 2016 because every time I had an appointment set that fit my work schedule, they would reschedule it and not notify me of the change. I finally gave up and cancelled. I decided to try them again this year, and had them come out in September because we had issues with fire ants. I decided to sign up for the quarterly contract again and give them another chance. When I told the rep my reasons for cancelling in 2016, he said the system has been fixed and they now have to call you to reschedule. I can now call BS on that. I knew my quarterly was coming up, so Monday last week, I went online to my account to see when my next service was. Online showed I had none scheduled, so I scheduled one for Friday between 10-12. I received email confirmation that I was scheduled for that time. I called in Friday morning because I had not received a call reminder of the appointment. The rep told me that I didn't have an appointment for Friday, 11/9, but it was for Monday 11/12 from 8-10. Today, I wait until 10 and no one shows up. I call back in, and was told they rescheduled my appointment for Wednesday, 11/14 between 3 and 5. No one bothered calling me and no email received. As of today, my contract is cancelled and I will NEVER EVER go back to using Terminix for any pest control services, and I will be sure to tell everyone I know who uses them. Two missed days of work to be here because I needed inside service for ants is not acceptable!

After two years of service, my house got a massive carpenter ant infestation over the winter, and the $7,000 of repairs they made on the foundation / frame of the house are failing (and large cracks are appearing where my walls meet the ceilings in the main hallway), plus I have discovered that I have snakes hibernating in my crawl space now. Thx for nothing. I will *NOT* be renewing my contract this year, but I *will* be telling my friends and neighbors that Terminex is quick to collect their cash, but not so fast when you report about problems. Nothing seems to be a priority to them ... until the money stops coming in & it's too late, because the customer has left & gone to another company. Bad business model. P.S. Don't bother calling to apologize, or to try to otherwise salvage your contract, it's a case of "a day late and a dollar short", by this point.

We have been using Terminix for the past year and have been very satisfied with the level of service and most importantly, responsiveness. BILAL has been providing our service and he's been very accommodating. A couple of times when I have either forgot to put the mice boxes outside from the garage or had to meet him to show him something, he is always so gracious. Additionally, I appreciate the email and phone notification system, really helpful. BILAL also stops to ask if we are having any issues, how have things been, need anything changed? I appreciate the attention to detail and the level of service, it's very hard to come by these days especially as everything is becoming increasingly automated.

The first time he was to come in the afternoon but showed up at 8 am and the family had to scramble to get out of the house as he had to treat internally. I have quarterly services since 2020. The first year service was on schedule but they charged me before the service was delivered. Bugs problem is not fixed but I was to give it some time see the result. This year they came for the first service on July 2 , but had to rescheduled due to rain. I again got a bill for the service not delivered. Finally on July 31 I called the office and they said will send someone to do the job. Did not show up.

I can echo the rest of the reviews here in suggesting that you don't waste your time with this business. The customer service number is disconnected from the scheduler so there is no cohesive messaging between the two. What this means is when you do try to schedule something, they submit a request to someone who schedules the service. This could end up being scheduled in a week (my first service) or in three to four weeks (the service I tried to schedule after the first application didn't help) - they won't tell you when it's scheduled, you just need to make sure your calendar is cleared for when they have time to come to your home. Customer service on the phone can't handle your complaints and the email they forward you to doesn't bother responding. It's a broken business and they don't deserve your money. Unfortunately, I now have to get a refund processed through my credit card as customer service is unwilling to help me in this process.

So about 2 weeks ago my husband and I both called at separate times to get someone out for an inspection. We set up an appointment for the following day. Well I waited around all day and no one called or showed up. About 4 days later someone called me and told me they dialed 478 for the area code instead for 479 well I was pretty understanding of that so I went ahead and set up another appointment for two days later. Again I waited around all day and got stood up again. No call no show. I find this company highly unprofessional and would never use them.

Don’t waste your time on this company. All they do is lie and not show up for appointments you’ve made and than show up on some random day. You than have to wait two more months for them to come service your home so if you’re having any type of pest issue than you’re screwed for the next two months. I’ve even spoken with the management at this company and it’s clear that no one has any experience in dealing with customers with this company. It amazes me this company is still in business. You’re better off going to Canadian tire to buy some raid and treating your house yourself. If I could rate it 0 stars that would be my rating. They don’t even deserve one star

Supervisor James was very throughout on the explanation of the process and costs associated removal of the mice in my rental unit. Kudos to this man and Jake at customer service for the amazing work they did for the handling of this matter. would definitely use again if needed.

The sales man came to my place and spoke of what they would do outside my home to get ride of the spiders that make a tone of webs all over the outside my home and the ant prevention. I mentioned that I recently had all my windows cleaned and he assured me that there wouldn’t be any mess to them in any way or form. The following week the terminix guy came to do the work and they guy cleaned with his pole followed by spraying there product everywhere making a complete mess of all my windows leaving a white film on every window. The guy also sprayed my shed and stained it with the product. When I called the company I can only get threw to sales/customer service that says they will forward the message. It’s been 3 days and no return call. Avoid this company!

This company is not professional and has really bad customer service. Someone knocked my door in May to provide pet control services. The sales girl was nice and told us they do bug control all around the house and backyard area, even around pool area. I was happy to give 4 postdated cheque. After first time service in the beginning of the June, ants became more and more , even we found a lot inside the house. After second time service, ants situation was still not improved. I decided to cancel the contract and stop payment. My nightmare came, their manager did not want to provide the name and refused to talk when I requested to talk to the manager. The collection lady is calling me everyday in the early morning and night, even though I had already had solution with their "manager". The service is not worth 199+ tax for each visiting, they just come to spray some chemical.

We had our first service in June I think, there are still lots of ants and spider in the backyard, so I called back for another service and booked July 30th for the treatment, no one showed up without any notice, their customer called back for another appointment on August 6th, again no one showed up without any notice, I tried to contact the sales person who had me sign the contract, he told me to contact their customer service directly, and every time I call the customer serve they told me they would leave a message for the billing team. PLS READ! not to bash the company but they were very unprofessional due to wrongful time/date. They said they were coming on a certain day and I had to call them to make sure they were coming because at this point it has been hours past the time we've set. There seems to be a disconnect between their salespeople and technicians. The salesman that sold the contract made some promises regarding the "Ant" problem we have in the backyard. He said that he will get rid of the whole thing. When the technician showed up, he said that he will spray, but total removal is not guaranteed. They did most of the spraying that you and I can do. Although they claim they use stronger chemicals. Not sure if that's true. Also, they scheduled a visit in February. After talking to technician, it was obvious that it is for inside the house. Had I known that, I would have made other arrangements, as we do not have any problems inside the house. Conclusion: they sprayed last year. Did notice a slight decrease in number of ants. But it was not worth the fee they charged. This year, ants are back. If anything, they look bigger than last year :)

The call center I don't like and I always get someone I can't understand clearly and some don't schedule well. Unfortunately I do not have the gentleman‘s name that came the last two times. He along with anyone else that has been sent has been professional and polite. They have taken the time to walk the property at home with me and go over any issues as well as explain what they are doing. I live in the country and used to get mice in the house regularly in the fall through the winter. Since I’ve been using their services pest activity has been down to zero. Extremely unprofessional and have no consideration for client requirements. We were never informed before first service that we will have to vacate the house for 4 hours. Since the service could not be completed, they were supposed to schedule another visit which they didn't for over a month. When we called then to schedule a visit, everytime they would give us a morning time while we had categorically told them that we need the services in afternoon. Fed up with following up I asked them to cancel the contract. All the while no calls from their side. On top of everything they charged me $99 for cancellation when it's clearly a deficiency in service and they are not able to provide services as promised. I am approaching consumer forum for this cancellation charge of $99. Would advise everyone to stay away from them. They promise a lot but deliver nothing. We are still facing all the problems that we did earlier and we have paid them for one quarter.

However, he came by around 8:16am supposedly to do the inspection and exterior re-treatment as he claimed on the note left on my entrance door. How come he came much earlier and FAILED TO COORDINATE with me? This company is the biggest scam and worst customer service, so save your money and stay as far away as possible. I signed up for the service after my neighbours told me they had seen mice around the house and they signed up for the service quarterly. The sale manager promised exceptional service and money back guarantee if we are not satisfied but I had to sign a one year contact. The very first visit they came did the outside spray and put some ant and mice baits around the house. I wanted the house sprayed for spiders and they Said they will do that next service. I waited until the next service and the person came to say it is wet outside and they will reschedule the spray. Checked the bait station was out of driveway in less than 4 mins and charged me full fees. I was told they will call me back but didn’t hear anything. After a month I called back to reschedule but I was told now I have wait until the next quarterly appointment. Next appointment I asked them to put the bait in the attic and they said they don’t do heights, I asked them to spray under the deck for wasps and they said they don’t go in closed spaces. But again I got charged for my quarterly inspection. This last time, I got automated message for an appointment and I picked the option to decline that date because I wanted to be home when they showed up. While I am work they show up walk up to the bait station in the back yard and leave within 5 mins from parking and leaving and charge me full fees. It is all recorded in my camera. I called customer service to ask why they showed up when I was not there they had no answer. Requested to speak with a supervisor but got told they will call me. Waited two weeks no answer. Called again and demanded to speak with manager was told they will call back. Waited 3 days and called back again got transferred to a voice mail no call back received. Called and demanded a refund was told they will send a message to the supervisor to call back again no answer. Made 7 attempts to speak with a supervisor over two months with negative results. This is worst customer service experience I have ever had with any company. I paid $600 and received 3 bait stations and two outdoor sprays with less than 40 mins labour total. This company is the biggest scam, so pls save your money and stay away from them. I have the read the replies from the company on other reviews saying call us and we can resolve this but as I said I have called and wasted enough of my time and nothing got resolved. I am still waiting for a phone call back. I live in Hamilton area, so if you were thinking about using this company, reconsider your options.

Update: One of the manager's (Derek) called to apologize that we were overcharged and provided a partial refund. He said first vent is $165, the subsequent ones are not. I'm happy that the company tried to make things right but I would recommended that if you go with this company ensure they do not send you the technician named Adam. I increased the rating to 3 stars but you can see my original review below which is more a reflection of Adam's poor service than the company overall. Do not go with this company for pest or wildlife control. Gouged on removal of birds from vents. First they say $125 to send technician, cost for removal will be $165+ and the cost to send the tech would be waived if we go ahead with the work to be done. Tech arrived and quoted $165 per vent including vent guard and we have three vents. So he was told install only for 2 vents and we could do ground floor vent on our own. Then he said said ok and brought the bill back for 2 vents plus $175 ladder fee. When asked why he charged that fee without discussing it, he said because you didn't do all three vents. He ended up taking out the ladder fee and instead charging for 3 vents, but he did not actually do the 3rd vent! He just left the vent guard here in the house. He had terrible customer service. Recommend Abell or Orkin instead.

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I called yesterday and scheduled treatments for both a Brown Recluse infestation and to have my yard sprayed for mosquitoes. I was told my appointment would be today, between 7 AM and 9 AM. At 9:15 I had not heard from a Terminix or the tech so I called. The First Lady attempted to call the branch, the tech, and the manager. No answer. The tech and the manager ended up being the same person. She apologized. Gave me his number and the branch number and I attempted to call. No answer. I called the call center back and sat on hold for 12 minutes before anyone even answered. Then sat on hold for another 10 minutes while a different rep attempted to contact someone. She came back on the line and gave me some bs excuse about how she spoke to her supervisor and their branch offices weren’t open yesterday so my appointment was not ever actually scheduled for today. It was supposedly scheduled for within 24 hours of the time someone in our local branch picked up my appointment request. Which depends on just whenever that happens. Um WHAT?!!! When I told her I was extremely disappointed with Terminix because of all this she said, “I’m sorry for that”. Nothing else. When I told her I wanted my contract canceled IMMEDIATELY, she said, “I’ll send your request over to the local branch”. When I asked why, if this 24 hour delayed scheduling process was normal and something that all Appointment and Scheduling reps are aware of, was I still given a specific appointment time and date for treatment, she replied with “I’ve already forwarded all this information to my supervisor and the local branch. Someone will give you a call today or tomorrow”. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!!! Just absolutely disgusted with the lack of professionalism and courtesy. I’ve been up since before 7 AM waiting for a tech that was supposedly never even scheduled. Even though I was given a specific appointment time and date. This company is a joke. Oh and please don’t reply with some generic automated response. It’s not fooling anyone. We all kno that if we call and voice our complaints that absolutely nothing will come of it.

I received a charge on my CC, an email saying that I received the service yet I did not receive the service as I had cancelled and had it in writing. My yard was covered in ant hills everywhere, Terminix came out and put bait station spikes down for them. With in a week or so, they were all gone for the most part. They also cleaned the spider webs off my eaves, and removed some wasp nests, which I thought was a nice touch. If they keep this up, I’ll probably keep them around long term.

I’ll admit I was skeptical when a young sales rep came to our door saying they could get rid of our terrible wasp problem. However, to my surprise they were able to drastically reduce them within a week of coming out for our initial treatment. I had them come out again for one of the free call backs they offer as part of their warranty, and now they’re basically completely gone. I’m impressed!

The absolute worse service I have ever experienced. I would give them less stars if I could. No response from customer service after 3 e-mails. Cancelled my subscription and was still charged. Can't get a hold of them. Was promised a free follow up service. Was told a follow up inspection would be in a few days. Never got back to me, and had to message them again. They waited months to do a "follow up" only to charge me for a whole new season. This place is a scam and I will be calling my credit company to fight this over charge.

Technician arrived on time and promptly removed the yellow jacket hive. Instructed me to observe for any activity around the nest and call back if any, on the 2nd or 3rd day. Cleaned up and took away most of the dead insects. But I had to do a more thorough clean up and I have to use a pressure washer to clean up the remanents from under the eaves trough. Sales Rep will lie to you about services they will provide and the price you will pay. When you call and complain they will send managers to your house, management will ignore your concerns about the sales rep and blame it on a new untrained technician. They will also ignore anything about price paid and tell you another manager above them will call you to hear you out and retreat your house again. You will never get a call just a bill with lots of frustrations and dissatisfaction. Only reason I even give this company a 1star is because the service technician was extremely nice and very knowledgeable.

One day the sales person of Terminix came to my door and explained about their services and promotions. I've signed a papers for a annual service( each quarter) The tech came for service and finished the job within a few minutes; just sprayed! I've shocked, this was not my expectation. I called the company and requested to cancel but they didn't accept. They said they will make better service next time. During the second service I was not at home, so I didn't see what they did. The tech came for the third service and exactly did same as first one, so I shocked again! I called to Terminix several time for the cancellation; finally they accepted and sent me a confirmation for the last service. However, still I'm receiving every month a statement showing that I'm owing $157.19. I've sent an email several time but no result; they don't understand! So, in order to get rid of Terminix from my life, today I'm paying this amount which I didn't get a service! DON'T TRUST THIS COMPANY. DON'T SIGN ANY PAPER. THEY ARE NOT RELIABLE!

In 2019 and 2020, there were significant problems with ants and lack of service. we thought the problems were solved until this year when they have failed to show up altogether. we have called, emailed, and called again since April about ants and wasps. Used Terminex for about a year and recently canceled my contract as they were charging me $100 more per visit than my neighbors who have the exact same size house. I guess thats how they treat existing customers. To be honest their service was pretty useless and did not correct any issues with rodents or bugs. Also the last visit they supposedly showed up unannounced and performed the service but my security cameras say otherwise. Stay away from these guys

Kushal was here to check for rodents in my house but especially in the attic off of my bedroom. He checked inside and outside thoroughly pointing out entry points in need of attention and plugging up smaller ones. He checked existing bait stations and added and replaced others. He explained all about the habits of the creatures and the remedies he put in place and will write a full report and make sure there is follow up to determine the creature and make sure it is gone. I feel much better knowing this problem is being remedied by such a skilled technician.

Fantastic company! The employee that came to my home was super nice and really knowledgable about wild life. The price was cheaper than anywhere else I called. We had a very large racoon living in our attic, they set up a door that would allow the racoon to get out but not back in. She also set up a squirrel door just in case we had squirrels as well. Once we knew the racoon was out, she came back, took down the racoon door and fixed the hole into the attic! Well worth the money!! 100% recommend Terminix Canada :)

We had a raccoon chew a hole in our roof recently so we called Terminix and the next day they sent a technician over to take a look. In one year of my contract with them they were not able to exterminate ants around the house; after 4 quarterly outside treatments, the infestation level was exactly the same as before and ants were regularly entering the house. On the other hand, they managed to charge me twice for the last quarterly treatment.

I was so grateful because I had a 15 year old miniature dachshund that still explored around the yard. If something didn't seem to belong, she would scratch at it or attack it. Technicians are always so polite, and so patient because I’m not always hanging on to my phone even tho I know they’re coming. And once our “puppy”, who at 55 pounds and a fearsome bark got out to make “friends” with a tech who was not interested in being friends with her, lol, but was super polite and knew just what to do to get her to lose interest (pay no attention). It took me a while to corral her but he still waited and did our service even tho I would have fully understood if he said he had to leave. We have had zero, zero(!) ant invasions since they started and the mice population seems pretty low in our garage too. I have had nothing but polite, positive interactions with their techs, even today when I missed the call and it took me a while to notice his truck! I would recommend to anyone.

Shocking service. Avoid at all costs. Got sold by a fast talking door-to-door salesman who offered a discount "because was in the area", which turned out to be a blatant lie. Full of broken promises and let-downs from beginning to end. They were never in the area to actually perform the promised services, over the course of 2 months they missed 3 appointments, turned up unannounced, and sprayed for ants once which had zero affect. We eventually gave up, they refunded us 80% of our payment and we used a local company who cost half the price and solved the problem within 2 days. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

(Treatment was ordered for us by management) The first time a technician came over, he said that all shelves must be cleared and we were not aware of this as we did not receive any details prior to the appointment. We ended up having another appointment booked for a week later - today. A technician was supposed to come in between the hours of 11 AM - 3 PM. It was already past 3 so I called the number listed above. I did not provide an address whatsoever and the lady I spoke to around 3:23PM said that our technician is probably running late. I hung up and waited a bit longer in hopes that she was right. It was past 4 and I called again at 4:25. I think it was the same lady and this time, I told her my address. Again, she said the technician is probably running late. It seemed after "looking" up my address, she saw that treatment was already done. I told her no one came in today and in the end, she said that she can't do anything about it and to call our management (which I already did beforehand and they said to call Terminix). My husband and I have been waiting to receive treatment longer than we have to and our situation with cockroaches is only getting worse. My 1 star review is to reflect the experience I received from customer service. It's subject to change after I get the actual treatment.

Here is what happen we moved into this apartment which the people did not remove there stuff,so I told the land lord I would handle that,because his wife just past away and I felt he needed that time to grief ,but to make a long story short my wife and children were getting bit.So he said he had a contract with this lame excuse of a company! so we called them right after I found and caught one to show them the left two types of notes so the inspector would come out to check it out and they sent somebody that had no idea what he was here for,he was nice and said he would talk to his boss,well that got no where,we called again and the set a time again nobody showed the guy was called me rude and set time up for Monday he showed up must have just looked at the bug and notice it was,but did not have tools to inspect,also we talked to him and was rude after work sent us home because they can spread,needless to say I was 2 minutes from house,he left so fast before I could get there in 2 minutes and did nothing,I highly recommend find sombody else,they are losing 2 contracts just in 2 days of poor service, , the suck for trying to be the best

I had a really good guy at one point then they kept changing people who came. I quit the service because they showed a pic of the house but they never came in and did what they were supposed to do and I was billed for it. So I dropped them.

This is the first time during our contract that I feel that I received proper service. The technician asked about current concerns and pointed out some potential problem areas. He also eliminated a hornet nest that we were unaware of. I would have said in the past that this company's service overpriced for what was received. However, based on today I would change my mind. I have no idea how this business could have anything but a 1 star review. Our experience with them was beyond disappointing. Their “spray” job took all of 10 mins. We’ve never had so many insects around house since they did their treatment. It’s almost as if their product attracted bugs! We’ve had 2 wasp nests, ants everywhere, ear wigs (which we never had a problem with before) and spiders. We called to let them know and they did zero about it. No one came back to inspect or retreat. Don’t waste your money. No professionalism or pride in their work. Their product does not work and neither do they.

HORRIBLE service and even worse customer service. If I could give a lower score, I would. Signed up with them after a sales agent came to my door who promised the world(don't they all), sounded fair and paid for the full year which was a big mistake. After the initial "inspection", they left some ant traps, "sprayed" my house exterior and deck for wasps/bees/spiders/earwigs/etc. which was what I wanted and requested. Less than 1 month later, both my niece and nephew got stung by wasps while playing in my backyard. After dealing with the kids and seeing a few more wasps, I started looking around, Found a Wasp nest underneath my deck close to my house, an area that I specifically requested being done. I called Terminix the very next day, JULY 19, first thing in the morning, took a while to get a hold of someone but once I did, it was pretty straight forward. the lady from Terminix told me not to worry, I would be put on a priority list and the issues would be dealt with quickly. 1 week later, NOTHING, no phone call, no service call, not even an update. after trying to follow up and getting no response, I ended up dealing with this wasp nest myself. Which is ridiculous after paying over $700.00 for a company to do this. I've tried following up with them a dozen times with no response. Ran into one of their employees doing some work at my neighbor's house(crazy right), now September 16, almost 2 months later in which he informed me that he only did wildlife and not insects. He called his manager and he told me that their sorry and that id for sure hear from someone at Terminix before the day was up. It is now the 17th and again. NOTHING. I will be escalating this matter, but I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. In 6 years, I haven't seen more insects around my house like I have this year. The ant traps don't work and their spray doesn't either, nothing they've done worked. Not sure if its products or the horrible management. Not here crying, just don't want anyone to experience what I've been going thru, we all work hard for our money and its a shame that a company can be this bad. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! SAVE YOUR MONEY OR USE SOMEONE ELSE!!!

Terminix Canada came up to my house (cold call) saying they were doing work in the neighbourhood. Not at ALL interested in this, and expressed this to the salesperson, but he continued to talk and try to sell me on something I am not interested in. A simple "thanks for listening" would have been fine. Equally concerning... he did not have a mask on. People should not be showing up at people's houses uninvited during a pandemic, especially without a mask. Very disappointed.

Everyone that we have dealt with at Terminix has been very professional. They always contact us prior to arrival and after the job is complete. When they make recommendations to us about our pest control, we know they have our best interest in mind. It is for these reasons we give them a 5 star rating.

Their services are fine, the technicians are in fact very knowledgable and often a pleasure to deal with. However their administrative and business practises are a hard 1. My mother initially signed up with Terminix for a season, but they told her it would be for 1 year and 1 year ONLY. English is not her first language, but she can understand and speak perfectly fine to get by, even with transactions such as this. Well on the fine print, it says that the terms will be 1 year + 1 more billing cycle aka 3 month term. We wouldn't have had a problem if they disclosed it. They explicitly said 1 year only. Okay, so disclose that to the customer next time. Unfortunately I wasn't there to read the relatively short contract over at first. As a business owner this is incredible scummy practice. Won't ever be using them and will warn others for this fact alone.

I don't even know where to begin.?Terminix has come several times to my home, sprayed inside and out and nothing has improved. I still find ants, flies, mosquitoes and spiders. I have spider webs forming everywhere on the exterior of my home. When I've made appointments and have had to re schedule(in advance) I have had workmen still show up at my home, even though I was told and guaranteed the appointments were re booked. They lack MAJOR communication between head offices and their workers on the road. Just an example of a daddy long leg whose been at my front door all day long. Oh and it seems every person they do have show up at your home on the wrong appointment day doesn't speak English even though they are aware it's an English speaking residence.

Terminix has THE WORST customer service. I have been on hold through the automated system for OVER 45 minutes, and I'm simply trying to pay our final bill. We cancelled our service due to the horrible phone service and the sub-par performance of the technicians that "spread" granules. If the bugs were gone, it wouldn't be so bad, but we still have plenty of ants, spiders, etc. in our home. You might ask, "Have you contacted Terminix to report the service?" Why YES, we sure have. Four,,,yes, FOUR times. Each time we had to hold for over 30 minutes. Two ADDITIONAL times, we requested the "call back" option, but never received a call back. Take our advice, save the money, buy the granules yourself. Or, use Mosquito Joes- they are THE BEST!!

Signed a six hundred dollar contract. We were told that they would do an an ant treatment and a spider treatment. They did a 5 minute ant treatment set up two traps and left. We have now spoke with their sales person 10 times who keeps on promising they would come back for the souder and wasp treatments but they have not. Big company no customer focus at all.

Pest control wise - company was great and solved our problem! Customer service wise - Lisa our customer service scheduler was fantastic and a pleasure to deal with. She was extremely knowledgeable and friendly and gave us the piece of mind to book the service and go with this company. On to the day of service - we had a horrible technician who was rude and belligerent on the phone. A manager Neil Patel had to step in and corrected the situation. Apparently the technician was relieved from their job. Aside from the initial hiccup with a rogue employee, Terminix was great and we highly recommend.

We signed up with this company having made specific note with the sales team of the concerns we had (bee activity on the second floor roof) and were sold on a suite of services that they did not provide. When we approached the service tech to let him know that he had not completed the services as promised he stated that he was not able to perform the services. We called immediately to let the company know. Since then it has been a procession of calls and back and forth trying to get the service scheduled to complete what was promised. They are citing significant waits for an appointment although they took our money and never provided the service. We are very disappointed, currently waiting for a manager to call back tomorrow. Had we not been home we never would have known that they did not even come close to executing as promised). Terrible way to conduct business. EDIT Since this post the manager Rob contacted me. Rob was polite and empathetic and we cancelled our services without penalty (I increased my rating from 1 to 2 stars based on this interaction). Someone also followed up on this review. I hope they are able to correct the issues with communication and discrepancies in service provision. I can't speak to the efficacy of the product as we didn't get all of the services.

I share the same experience as Tariq paid $650.00 for nothing. In the summer I had to buy more products on my own to remove the ants inside and outside of my house and deal with bees as their method obviously did not work. NOW I am dealing with roaches inside my home. I have lived here 26 years and have never seen all these bug problem. How do I get my money back or at least help me with my roach problem at no further cost? I would recommend never to do business when salespeople come to your door. I thought Terminix was a respectable company but they just took my money and never came back to follow up. Is this a scam?

After talking to them they said they cannot provide details and a technician will call take details and provide more information and quote for the service. It was promised that they shall call next day. Nobody called, so called again customer service went through all again and was said technician shall call the same day ASAP.
