We had a wasp nest that was actually behind some wood trim on our house, so we called Plateau because dealing with this was beyond what we could do. They came out promptly, were extremely professional and applied a treatment that seemed to do the trick. A few weeks later, we noticed a new nest (or the old hive simply moved a bit) behind another piece of wood trim. Plateau came out again and treated that, also checking inside the attic to be sure that there wasn't a bigger nest there. That follow up visit was covered by the first visit's fee, which arguable might not have been the case. This is a great company, with outstanding customer service and they stand behind their work.

Quick and prompt scheduling I had a yellow jacket nest going inside my wall void they were flying in and out under my eaves, they came the same day I called and check the attic space and treated the nest no more activity the next few days thank you for your service. highly recommend this company.

No show! We waited 4 days for our appointment - for which we received 2 reminder emails - and then no one showed. We were given an arrival window of 3pm-5pm. I called the office around 4:30 and 4:45 and left messages - no answer and still no response. Beyond frustrating.

Sokhara said he would be out between 3-5:00, was early, which is always great with me! We started hearing rats in our attic. They were able to come out the day after I called and close any openings that they could be coming in through. They set up traps and returned a week later to check the traps. We haven't heard anything from the attic since and are very happy with the service they provided.

Sokhara is a very likable person and does good work when he shows up, but he seldom comes when he's scheduled and doesn't call. 4 of the last 5 months he hasn't come when scheduled and doesn't respond to phone calls or texts. Lately. I've gotten e-mails for three consecutive weeks saying he would be here on a certain day and he's never showed up. My opinion is that he is a nice guy who is very unreliable and can't be depended upon to do what he says. That is a formula for failure and I hate to see it, but I cannot recommend him for doing pest control.

I rarely write reviews but I wanted to share how impressed we were with the professionalism and customer service we received from this company and specifically from Sokhara. We discovered a hornets nest and called Plateau Pest Control immediately. They said they'd be out in the morning and gave us a quote on the cost. In the meantime, we discovered a second nest. Sokhara showed up and removed both nests. He said there shouldn't be anymore problems but to be sure and call him if there was. He did not increase the price due to the second nest. He also mentioned that they offer a quarterly spray service for other insects (ants, spiders, etc). Very personable and reliable and fair pricing!!!

I was dealing with pest issues on and off for about 2 years. It was driving me crazy. I was losing sleep and sanity trying to treat it myself, but I couldn't keep the issue manageable. I finally broke down and called a different "pest specialist" to deal with the problem. They came out, sprayed a little, set up 3 baits, and within 20 minutes they were gone. I had a brief relief, but sure enough, within several weeks the issue was back. They came out and treated again, but the issue kept resurfacing so I eventually stopped having confidence in that other company. At my wit's end, I decided to call Sokhara with Plateau Pest Control. From our first appointment I knew he was approaching my problem with a whole different level of integrity and dedication. Unlike the other companies, Sokhara took considerable time just listening to my concerns, taking notes as I walked him through the house to show him the trouble areas. He didn't shy away when I showed him a bag of dead bugs, but rather immediately identified and was knowledgeable about these pests plaguing my home (odorous house ants) and how to treat them. He then walked me through his action plan and confirmed I was comfortable with his strategy before signing a service agreement He used bait in several high traffic locations, thoroughly sprayed around the exterior of the home, and applied several control solutions inside the walls where the issue was most prevalent. I had mentioned to other companies that I thought the issue was in the walls, but no one besides Sokhara even mentioned that treating within the walls was an option! I would estimate he spent at least a good hour on that first trip treating and protecting my home with methodical precision. Not to mention he was highly professional and really made me feel like fixing my problem was his top priority. After that, Sokhara patrolled the perimeter and removed several wasp nests from my eaves. I didn't even mention wasps during our consultation, but he went the extra mile to help keep my home completely pest free and it really made a difference! I have not seen a single one of those ants in my home since Sokhara's first treatment. I am extremely satisfied with his work and will continue to use Plateau Pest Control for bi-monthly service. We have had a contract with Sokhara for about 10 years. His company has expanded recently to include Technician Zack who is very professional and cares a lot about customer satisfaction. Plateau Pest Control technician, has solved our carpenter ant, spider, rodent, and feral cat problem very effectively. At the initial visit he thoroughly evaluated our problems and took prompt action to resolve the infestation. He explained everything he was doing and is very professional. He took the extra time to seal off our crawl space to prevent recurrence of problems. Under contract, Sokara always checks with us to see if there are any new issues for his attention. At each visit, Sokhara inspects the exterior of our home and our garage for signs of infestation. He removes wasps nests under the eaves and spider webs wherever they are. Per the contract, he will return in between visits as needed to keep our home completely pest free. Originally, Sokhara provided service for our daughter's home which was unexpectedly over run by mice. She was unable to get anyone to help her for nearly a week and Sokhara came immediately when called to provide exactly what was needed to rid the house of rodents. I most highly recommend Sokhara and Plateau Pest Control if you need an exterminator for any type of insect, rodent, or other type of pest control. With a contract Plateau Pest Control responds immediately to resolve the pest issue.
