Adam is great but I was shammed into signing an agreement that if I cancel I have to pay like 300 dollars to get out of, and they come quarterly but you have to pay every month, and 300 to start ,so the work was great but look at what you sign bc they make it sound 100 percent different from what your signing it's a legit contract and the price isnt any cheaper than any other place if you add it up but the ants are gone so cant complain too bad!

They're supposed to come out and spray house perimeter as part of service. It's June and no spraying has occured. We called and they said we would need to schedule an appointment and that they were booked out until mid July. There's now hundreds of ant hills surrounding our house and like 20 wasp nests in our eaves... So happy to have paid for a service and not receive the service itself. Do not use this company.

Called Monday to inquire about a tick tretreatment was told by woman I would be contacted with a price for the treatment by a technician never called me back. Tomorrow is Wednesday no call back yet? Guess they don't want or need my business

I was extremely disappointed with Modern Pest to charge me $199 to have someone show up at my house and give me two options on how to control chipmunks, with each option costing $500 to relocate them and $750 to dig a trench and create a barrier along the side of the house where they are entering the ground. For $199, I at least expected some type of resolution to the issue. I wouldn't have minded so much if this was half the cost for a consultation but $199 is absolutely out of line. I definitely have put your co. in the 'rip-off' category. I will not call your company again..

I am very disappointed with my service since Pest Rx merged with Modern Pest. I am on a monthly spray schedule and the service person has been showing up unannounced every 2 weeks since May 24. Then I am getting charged $70 every time. The mosquitos have been the worst ever and the spray doesn’t seem to be helping. The last two years we didn’t have any problems with mosquitoes or scheduled services. I would like this situation reconciled or I will be canceling the service altogether.

Josh Lewis' experience and expertise clearly impacts on the high quality of his service and on his willingness to be responsive to our concerns by sharing his findings with us. We appreciate his being precisely on time so that we could get on to the rest of our day. Our only complaint, after having been an MPS client for many years, is the fact that, while your charges have remained the same on an annual basis, you have reduced your quarterly visits to three visits per year. Quarterly visits to coincide with the seasons make much more sense!

They perform two services this summer so far. I actually met the guy who did the service first time and he was very knowledgeable friendly and professional. He made me feel comfortable of what he’s doing and did a great job. Recommend them to three people that I know and they all used their service. The only downturn, I think, is they are not calling you even if you request the day they are comming, so if you wanted to meet them you basically have to be outside the day they’re coming to meet with them to get an idea of what they are doing. They promised to email you but that is not happening all the time and very inconvenient.

So, initially I called them at the beginning of May to set up my services till October. They came when they said and all was well. Then after coming in with a few ticks and having the volume of mosquitos noticeably increase i called them and asked why they hadn't returned (every 3 weeks they're supposed to come and spray) they said they hadn't received my signed copy of the agreement which I had in my outbox signed and emailed back when it was supposed to. They said they'd look into. A week passes with no response so I call yet again and after 20 minutes on the phone with a nice woman she assured me I was all set for Saturday (making it 3 weeks past due for my follow up spray) and it is now Sunday and no one has shown up. I went to call and leave a message and their mailbox is full- wonder why? I've been calm about it but I'm more then frustrated that at $100 a spray they can't seem to show up when they're supposed to and that they have system or filing issues. I'm calling someone else to come spray and will not recommend them as I'm sure people would prefer their time and money not go to waste.

I have to agree with the previous comment that was made. We have been Modern customers for years now. As long as you don't have a problem, allow them to show up when it's convenient for them and allow them to deduct their payment every month, everything is fine. Should you need them for anything ...forget it. They send email "Service Reminders" letting you know when they plan to come spray ... sometimes they show up and sometimes they don't. If the date and time that they plan to come doesn't work for you, too bad. They may try to reschedule, again when it's convenient for them or you can try to reschedule but even though you are an established customer, it could be another month before you see someone. I'm not sure what we have been paying for all these years. Time to look for another company.

Not very happy with my last service on Saturday the 10th of July. Please do not ever send that tech to my house ever again. As soon as my contract for tick and mosquitoes is over I will be cancelling my other service as well. They are not customer friendly. It's all about the money for them. They dont care about how bad their techs are he was very rude. They schedule you and most times dont show up or show up whenever they feel like. They want you to lock your pets up in your house all day and then never show up.or show up early. Very bad scheduling. Poor customer service.

We have had an ongoing carpenter ant problem since April and visit after visit, Bobby was the only one who was able to do the trick! We saw barely any within a week of his visit at the end of June. He asked questions and thought to put poison in places no one ever had before. We still see them here and there, one or two. But no where near the amount we were seeing before. Bobby was very personable and did an awesome job!!!! I was glad he came back recently to do our quarterly service. I highly recommend this company.

it is unreasonable to request an evaluation of your service 24 hours after the service. My experience to date has been that rodent control has been satisfactory; mosquito control has been unsatisfactory; tick control has been apparently satisfactory. The technician was professional and appeared to do a very good job in dealing with environment. He was thorough and pleasant to deal with.
