I'm not really even much for flowers and stuff. But the wife drags me there at least once a year. Getting all over vegetables for the year and are plants. Funny thing is I always enjoy wandering around there. And I Christmas it's like a winter wonderland inside they had the greatest coolest Village setup I'd ever seen. It's like something you'd see in Macy's window.

Went in yesterday looking for some information on tropical plants to add to some bioactive reptile enclosures we are working on and we were blown away. The selection is fantastic and the employee that helped us (Sarah) was so knowledgeable and helpful. It is such a relaxing atmosphere and the fragrance of the flowers is intoxicating. So much selection to ponder and such great staff that are very helpful. Art Knapps Plantland is so much more than a store selling a huge variety of plants including annuals , perennials and exotic indoor plants. Now they have clothing (mostly women's), footwear and furnishings. Gift ideas abound for every taste and pocketbook. A fascinating place to visit for sure. I highly recommend it.

Art Knapp is a fun store. You could spend a delightful hour or so browsing all their displays. The service was good. Unfortunately, there was a very rude employee who came out of the back of the store and literally yelled at me using slang words when I drove down their back lane by mistake. He needs to be spoken to. That was no way to speak to a customer who just spent $100 in the store. I won't go back for awhile.

Good selection of soils, indoor and outdoor plants, bathroom facilities are clean, and they have random knick knacks for sale. The cashier (gentlemen) was awkwardly starring at me while I was in the store and made a weird comment when I came in with a bag of soil, made me feel uncomforrable. Also while I was there they had a younger male worker who's dumpster volvo car alarm was going off non stop for 15 mins plus which soured my shopping experience here.

My wife had about $30 worth of herbs and flowers. Not much but enough to spend my money else where. 2 tills with both customers taking way too long asking for help they should have found with the helpers in different departments. Not holding up customers waiting to pay. I left what I was going to purchase on a bench and left. I blame the till employee for not politely saying to their client I will call someone to help you as my line up is very long.

I was not impressed with Art Knapps yesterday. They have closed their bathrooms to the public. Since they choose to stay open during covid their first responsibility should be to their customers and their hygiene. It's not like anyone can go next door to use the facilities. The reason they gave me was the employees weren't comfortable with sharing a bathroom with the public due to covid yet none of them were wearing masks. Buck up Art Knapps ...time to install another bathroom for your employees and think about your customers who keep you all employed.
