Dan was at my home in 2 hours for 2 hours and successfully and humanely removed a family of 7 (!) squirrels from our fireplace. He's responsive, kind, professional, knowledgeable and efficient. He has been removing critters for 22 years. I learned something from Dan (the owner) today: If you hear something crawling around in your fireplace, (it is more than likely squirrels since rats and mice generally do not frequent chimneys and fireplaces. NEVER EVER light a fire. It is incredibly cruel and dangerous. The animals fall into the fire, catch fire, get out of the fireplace and run around your house transferring the fire to curtains, furniture etc.

Amazing work by Dan. I came home shortly after my wife and she told me she was hearing something in our ducts. We called the company recommended by our strata and the best they could do was come the next day. We called Dan and he just happened to have finished another job and came right over. After a bit of an ordeal he was able to extract the squirrel safely and release it unharmed. We can't recommend him enough.

Dan's the Man!!! We were so frustrated with the squirrels in our house. They entered through an opening in the roof and it came to the point where they started making a hole through the drywall inside the entry of our house. I called a few people for quotes and the price Dan quoted was slightly lower, however it was his knowledge, attitude, and personality that made me go with him. You really need to understand behavior of animals in order to fix the problem. He found some more areas on our roof where squirrels could enter and sealed them up. He also gave me advice on the raccoon problem we've been having in addition to squirrels. Dan helped solve the immediate problem and also gave me recommendations for issues that may come up in the future. Dan came to our house as quick as possible, figured out a plan and removed the raccoon at the same time he prevented further entry from other raccoons by sealing off other entry points. Dan has helped us with two wildlife problems: raccoons and rats. For the raccoon problem, he quickly figured out what needed to be done and completed the work that day. More importantly, he also knew what didn't need to be done; in other words, he didn't overcharge us or try to make the problem out worse than it was. It was this honesty and trustworthiness that had me phoning Dan when we found rat feces in our garage. In this particular case, I am so thankful that we went with Dan because his extensive knowledge of rats and how to get rid of them made a rather unpleasant experience much easier to handle. Rats are very intelligent, so there's always a risk that an infestation can be difficult to contain. But Dan knew exactly how to approach the problem based on the type of rat, our geographic location, and the location of a potential nest with babies. His thorough assessment of these variables even determined the type of bait he used. After learning so much about what it takes to successfully deal with wildlife, I will never try to solve a wildlife problem on my own, and I encourage anyone reading this to hire Dan and get the problem solved the right way before you accidentally make a problem worse. Luckily, we had called him before we took measures into our own hands, but many people make the mistake of trying to fix the problem before calling in a professional. Don't make this mistake! I’m not typically someone who writes reviews but Dan really impressed me with his knowledge and professionalism. You can really tell he has a ton of pride in what he does, which is why I trusted him out of all the other companies to help with my parents’ raccoon problem. Dan was very responsive and efficient. I really appreciated how he took the time to explain his assessement of the problems and outlined what work would be required and what would be “nice to haves”. I did some price comparisons and his rates are very competitive for the services he offers. He guarantees his work and wouldn’t even take any payments until the work was done and we were satisfied. I would highly recommend Dan for his pest control expertise and excellent service. Two years ago, I had a roof rat in the attic which he trapped and removed in matter of days. Recently, I had the gable ends of my house replaced with Hardy shingles but 4 gaps in the corners were created and neglected. I called Dan once again not sure if he'd be able to fill the gaps.
