Gary Mann is the most amazing and helpful person I have truly ever had the pleasure to have dealt with. We were experiencing an outbreak of carpet beetles in my daughters room, I mean a ton of the little b¥£*^#%. We spoke over the phone and I was desperate and would have been willing to pay anything to get rid of them. But Gary was so professional! In just a few short moments he was able to completely ease my mind. He didn’t want me spending money I didn’t need to. He explained exactly how to take care of the infestation ourselves, and it was relatively easy and straight forward. Gary could have so easily taken advantage of me and had him attend and pay to get rid of the beetles, but he is not like that. I listened to his advice and there are no more carpet beetles!!

I found a few termites in an old tree stump not far from my house. I called a bunch of companies that wanted between $250 and $550 to treat. I called Avon and spoke to a gentleman named Garry and he was insistent that I would be wasting my money. Instead of trying to come out and charge me he gave me some direction on what I should do and assured me that I have nothing to worry about. He educated me on the termites we have here in BC and that it would be a waste of time and money for me to hire a company to deal with an issue that I could resolve. Instead of making a buck he was honest and cared about the customer service he delivered. Garry at Avon will be the first person I call if I ever have any pest problems in the future. Do not hesitate and call this man for some honest help with your dilemma.

Garry Mann at Avon Pest Control responded within hours to my evening request for help.. I was having my house siding replaced and was concerned we came upon a pest infestation. Garry called immediately the next morning and asked alot of questions and educated me on the local pests. He gave me confidence that the problem was not as bad as it might seem and fixable. Garry and his team came out the next day, did a thorough review inside my crawl space and on the exterior and determined there was not an issue with pests so much as excess moisture which caused some wood to go rotten. This morning I discovered a wasp next in my gutters. I'm allergic to all things related to Hymenoptera species and so wanted it dealt with ASAP. Prior to being referred to Dr. Garry Mann, i had called another professional, whose treatment was largely ineffective, as it consisted of merely applying chemicals to manage the pests. Incredibly professional and so helpful! I reached out without even knowing what the problem was and Avon helped us figure it out. We arranged an appointment and Dr Mann was very accommodating - coming in during the weekend. The inspection was thorough without being disruptive, and he took the time to explain everything he was doing. We were able to identify and solve the problem right away. (There was one single bug that I don't believe many people would have otherwise found). Dr Mann was great with following up to make sure everything was going well after the appointment.
