Reasonably priced and came right away

I have not posted any stars. I do wish there was a down thumb icon and I would give them 5 of those. I have been bitten by bed bugs in my apt since September 17, 2017. Very long story short, it took until December 5, 2017 to figure out what was going on when fully mature bed bugs started running over my body while I was reclined watching TV. It took until January 11, 2018 for Steve's to FINALLY show up and treat my apt. If you want to deal with a company that repeatedly cancels and doesn't call and has problems that the customer has to repeateedly put up then this is the company for you. BTW After having my apt ready for the exterminator since early December, "a dream" for ease of treatment (his words), the technician threatened me with yet another delay because HE showed up 2 hours EARLY for the scheduled 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. time frame and I wasn't ready. He said if I couldn't admit him shortly he would have to leave. Of course I was given the excuse how HIS schedule was a mess because of the "big emergency" of the day. I was naked, having just stepped out of the shower, and hastily pulled on my winter coat because all of my clothing and fabric items are bagged and on my balcony since the middle of December 2017. I had to get dress, bag and toss my bedding out onto the balcony and move, for the third time, articles from my living room closet to the tub. I did all of that in under 20 minutes. I have included a photo of just a portion of my body and the damage done to my skin from the bed bug bites. IMHO shop else where for pest control folks. (I selected one star under duress so I could post)

Horrible. Let themselves into my apartment and RIPPED the encasement they gave for my bed by moving it improperly and carelessly.

Very terrible and expensive job for something that wasn't even treated. These other reviews here are pretty similar to our experience. We are still getting bit at night. All they want is continuous charges for timely treatments that obviously do not work. They also do show up very early for their appointments. If their pathetic treatment doesn't work, they will instantly blame you directly for not following orders, even though you did and they have no idea what you did during that time. They will argue that their flimsy bed cover is impossible to penetrate and escape. They will argue with you that you're getting bit by bugs in a completely different room from where the bites come from. Their inspections are just as bad. Both times the inspector searched the area, he found nothing. We had to physically bring in a bug as evidence ourselves. Even after the fumigation was set, he found nothing in the follow up and assumed the job was completed. After a while of still seeing bugs and calling this unprofessional company for a follow up, I was told by their customer service agent that she "doesn't want to speak to a little jerk anymore". This whole experience has been very unprofessional by both their secretary and their fumigation team and they're lucky to get 1 star.

The personnel from Rentokil, formerly Steve's Pest Management, are very helpful. They use bait traps that only kill the mice and don't effect my cats. I like that they have a yearly plan at a reasonable price where they come to check up on the bait trap stations on a regular basis. I had a different company mouse proof my house last year and they just threw packs of mice poison in my attics and under my house in the crawlspace. I really appreciate their use of the bait stations both inside and outside of the house. This company also has a shorter term for mouse prevention. I thoroughly recommend them.
