Waited for 45 minutes in the store to enquire about some sliding closet doors on sale..left.decided these would in fact work after measuring the space, so called the store back after 7 minutes of voice ads the same woman answeres and i gave her the name of the doors and the bar code. I wanted to pay for them using my HD card. She explained she'd call me right back when she finishes with the current customer. 2 1/2 hours later I call again..this time a young man says ..yes o have the information. I have to run and get them and I'll call you right back.. I wait a further 1 1/2 hours again and call back only to find the store is now closed. Really?? Terrible service..

Had a negative experience once, and there was zero hesitation to make it right! My husband and I are in this Home Depot so much, that most staff recognize us (and some can even recall our current project at the time). This Home Depot is by far our favourite location! The staff is super friendly and have always been able to answer our questions! And they never fail to give us a great deal on whatever we're buying! We don't even have to ask! We spend quite a bit of money here, but the pleasant atmosphere and awesome staff always seem to make it easier. (Take my money). Also, if you're looking to start a garden in the spring, they always have a beautiful selection of well loved plants and flowers. Always our favourite store in the valley.

I had posted previously about the garden center and I felt it was decent however I was really disappointed my last couple of times shopping in the regular part and especially the Garden Center . I was looking for bags of River rock that I had purchased last year. I tried to find it on my own with no luck I then saw some recycled rubber pads that could possibly work for what I was doing. There was no price so I walked across the garden Center to where the woman was standing and asked her if she could tell me how much. She wasnt overly rude but she definitely didnt look like she really wanted to walk over to where they were but she did after a bit of a dirty look she scanned them and gave me the price. I grabbed them and then asked about the River Rock explaining I had gotten some the year before. She said she didnt know but if they did they would be over where I came from . Being hopeful I went and looked again bu there wasn't any as I walked past her on my way inside I thanked her but still got the unfriendly look .. I went inside and paid for the mats and a few other items and as I was walking to my car noticed a huge area where there was bags of mulch and soil and RIVER ROCK! I was blown away that this woman wouldn't have known that 1/3 of the parking lot was holding those kind of items. I didnt have the energy to go back and get them or point it out plus I felt she wouldn't care anyways from her demeanor .

This Home Depot has the worst customer service. None of the associates knew where anything was and sent us on a wild goose chase time after time. They were looking things up on their cell phones and telling us they were out of stock when our phone was telling us different ( we were right) and the garage door that was on sale they tried to charge us full price for! Then they couldn't count the cash my husband paid with and 2 different employees had to count it 4 times. Seriously bad customer service all around in all areas.

As usual Campbell River inventory is laid out different than other home depots I visited regularly on the mainland. You have to search out the good workers who know their field of expertise, I.e. plumbing, flooring, electrical. Home depot employees have a reputation for pointing to where stuff is located. Our experiences at this store very from decent too shady they will occasionally follow you around the store too making you feel incredibly uncomfortable for even being there. Worst online shopping experience. Made a $4,000 order, they marked it as shipped for 4 weeks without any update. Was supposed to reach my house and get updates 3 days after shipping. We are now 20 days later and still have not received anything. I have also tried getting in touch with the Customer Support many times, they basically tell you that "they are receiving an incredible amount of calls" and then basically hang up on you and tell you to contact them later. Same story every single day. Now I just want to cancel my order since it was marked to deliver in 1 week and now it has been 5 week and I am still not able to just get an update of when it could be delivered.

The toilets in the aisle definitely do not flush so I guess the plumber didn't do something right. They also do not have samples like Costco so all in all it's not a good place to buy bulk chicken eggs.

90% of our dealings with Home Depot have been great. They have a wonderful staff and we enjoy shopping for our hardware needs here. However, recently our dishwasher broke. Luckily, it's on warranty. However, the warranty company has been terrible to deal with. 9 months later and our dishwasher isn't repaired or replaced and the warranty company is deflecting our attempts to get an operational dishwasher. The reason I'm leaving 1 star for Home Depot is their unwillingness to help. They will simply supply the phone number for the warranty company and that's as far as anyone has been able to assist us. If you're considering purchasing an appliance from home depot, just know that you're on your own even if you purchase the extended warranty. Luckily we can wash dishes by hand. But other appliances are much more important. Buyer beware.

I have tried to post a product review on their website for a $1800 purchase but moderators keep rejecting my review because it mentions shipping. The entire dissatisfaction with the product relates to shipping so I will post the review here. If you want something off the shelf, Home Depot is ok but for anything custom order or that needs to be shipped to you, I suggest you run. And don't trust their product reviews as they moderate everything including customer service complaints. Here is what I tried to post: I placed an order for this 9-piece set November 2018. FIRST SHIPPMENT: The order arrived packaged and strapped to a crate. The packaging was intact and did not look damaged. After opening it, it was realized that both of the large locker units had crush related damage to the base and there was also damage to the doors and hinges. Inside each of the lockers, they also pack one base unit and one upper unit. Both pieces in each of the 2 lockers was also damaged from the impact. Out of the 9-piece set, I received a total of 6 damaged pieces. I contacted NewAge directly and new cabinets were ordered and shipped within a couple of days. SECOND SHIPPMENT: The 6 replacement pieces arrived as before; packaged in the same manner and absent of visual damage. After unpacking, it was realized that one of the lockers had the same type of damage and the base unit packed inside was again also damaged. I once again contacted NewAge to order replacement items. THIRD SHIPMENT: Two new items arrive and this time one out of 2 pieces is damaged. FORTH SHIPMENT: Fourth time is a charm as they manage to get the last piece to me unscathed. This entire process took from November to end of January. To add to the frustrating process, each order shipped on a wood pallet and I had to take apart and dispose of each one. In addition, they do not want any of the damaged items back. Although I was able to salvage a couple of doors and drawers, the rest have to go to a metal recycler. We don’t have free pick up here or drop off locations and the nearest location is a 40km, 40 minute return trip. Since I only have an SUV, it requires 3 trips and the light weight metal is worth very little; certainly not enough to pay for the trips. Although I ordered a 9-piece set, in the end I actually took delivery of 17 pieces; 8 of which were damaged. This company obviously has unresolved issues with shipping and poor packaging. Although the cabinets are very stable once secured properly to a wall and adjacent units, on a shipping pallet they lack structural stability. The cabinets should be shipped with large, shock absorbing Styrofoam bases and tops much like a major appliance would arrive. The entire process was time consuming, inconvenient and extremely wasteful with so much product going straight to recycling.

It's a home depot, however the staff here seem to stand around talking to each other rather than helping customers. Multiple times when asking to find something the staff would say, "I think isle X" then would go back to conversing with the coworker. Other home depots have much better customer service. Also no one helps with loading. The loading zone is also often filled with vehicles that have parked and are shopping, not loading.

Campbell River Home Depot is with out a doubt the worst store we have ever dealt with. We started by wanting to by flooring and wanted H. D. To install, no luck cause of covid. So we told them that we would need time to find a installer and didn't know when the material would be picked up. 2 weeks of searching and we went to pick up our order. 1200.00 dollars worth. They canceled our order without notifying us. No call nothing. We had to start our search all over. Next we ordered new appliances 3400.00 and was told 2 week's. The afternoon of our delivery they called and said they didn't know where our order was. So we canceled and ordered from the Brick. We then decided to see if they could tile our walk in shower.we waited 2 weeks for a quote, placed ou order for 3600.00 dollars and waited for another 2 weeks for a date for th install, we went in 3 times to find out if a date was booked. Nothing. We finally canceled the order and did it ourselves and saved 3000.00 dollars. They lost over 7000.00 just from us. God knows how much they lose in a year. There so busy they just don't give a dam.

Recently visited the Campbell River Store to purchase a tarp I had seen online and which showed items available at my store. The product was not on the shelf and two employees went above and beyond to search for the $9.97 item. Because of their diligence and determination to provide excellent customer service, the item was found and I was able to purchase the first one out of the carton!! I was planning to leave my positive remarks on the "Survey", however, I would have been required to accept "emails, coupons and special offer" spam. Because I declined I was not allowed to complete the Survey.

I'm really disappointed in Home Depot with regard to their COVID policies. The sign outside says the staff have PPE and social distancing is in place, but I feel like I'm constantly dodging customers and staff who clearly don't respect social distancing. I've needed help the last few times I've been in there, but haven't asked because the sales personnel get right up in your face if you do. Come on Home Depot. The store is always clean and there is often if not always someone to greet you at the door. They have a great variety of products. The prices are somewhat on the high side, but you will find what you need. The lumber is inside so you have no surprises on quality and price since it is well organised. Lots of plants and paving products, electrical appliances, decoration, they have it all. There is a lot's of employees but they somewhat often seem to be busy talking to each other. I've myself 'disturbed' some at many occasion. I even once have been throw around from on to the other to have simple indications to where something was...to end up the cashier serving me. The parking lot is huge and can accept a large truck and trailer with no problem. The store is very accessible and is just on the highway exit. So practical for a quick stop.

The quote arrived quickly for an amount of $ 4500.00. We decided to go with the order. The installer had to contact us to formally take the measurements. 3 weeks later, still having no news, I reconnected with them, and the supervisor of the region came himself telling us that they were short of staff, so no installer. The measures being taken, the order was therefore placed. On September 20 I received a note from Levolor saying that our order had just been shipped. Yesterday, October 14th, still no news, I contacted Mario, the supervisor, who told us that he will come and deliver the blinds to us himself but that we will have to install them ourselves. I'm asking credit for the bad service, he tells us he'll give us credit for the installation which shouldn't take more than an hour. This morning, I am communicating with them again to learn that they will be coming to install these blinds on Sunday October 23 without asking us for our availability. Having known all of this we would have canceled everything because nothing gets done without pushing them behind their backs and making threats. So very, very bad service and we will never do business with them again !!!! And in all of this they have no qualms about picking up the balance of payment on our credit card. (Original) Le 24 août 2021 la designer est venue prendre les mesures pour nous faire un estimé pour plusieurs stores horizontaux à installer dans notre maison. Like rolling the dice when it comes to asking someone for help. One person will walk to the opposite corner of the store to help you, the next won't leave their department (flooring) and mumbles something to you in a condescending Irish accent.

I totally agree with the fact that there is a real lack of social distancing. As soon as you leave the 6 foot spacing line up to get into the store, it really is a free for all. Most all staff, although most friendly and helpful, come up to you really close or actually swipe by you in the aisles. In the checkout they offer to assist you but the problem is they are too close and didn't understand the question of whether scanner had been wiped down, etc. No carts that were evident and do not provide baskets at this time. It would be great for you to re-think the steps you are taking to keep all safe. This is one of the stores that feels really unsafe to shop at in this strange and unsettling time.
