We come here most weekends for our grocery shopping because the prices are good when they can be verified. However, we find we really need to double check prices of things to make sure they are as they appear. I added a couple examples from within the first few minutes of being in the store this morning. We find this is the trend all the time and often I need to convince the employees that their misleading pricing needs to be addressed. They're losing money as a result.

My favorite grocery store in town, though that's not saying much. I've been keeping track of prices for my common consumables (deodorant, shampoos, pop, meat, cleaning supplies, etc) and downtown superstore is usually a wide margin cheaper in most things, second only to walmart. I try to avoid other Loblaw's stores, such as "Your Independent Grocer" in Timberlea, as their prices are around 10-15% more despite being the exact same brand's. Downtown Superstore is a no-frills grocery shopping place with a doctors office and a jewelry store inside. Watch out for the flooding parking lot. It happens. A lot.

Pretty average grocery store. Staff aren't helpful at all. Had several problems with the staff not understanding/speaking very much English and it's been hard to get proper help. The store it self is adequately clean. Lot of stuff in the wrong place and sometimes can be messy in some areas. Just a nothing thing the staff should be focused on. The one good thing is that the store has great prices. So it equals out a bit. Its not a great store, but it's not awful either.

Isles blocked with stock, Tip:Avoid garden shop! all flowers, plants, Christmas wreaths,trees I've purchased have extremely short lifespan & don't bloom with proper care Staff/management is not customer-orientedI.In general : nclean/untidy, high priced poor quality products. Security guards have proved themselves useless. Cashiers have given back incorrect change several times. On one occasion I had caught $15 over charged and then didn't even receive an apology. Bakery department proves to be a mystery as I have never once enjoyed the odor of freshly baked goodies,urchased a Frozen cheesecake t was freezer burned. Bathrooms ignored/ unstocked , shopping baskets filthy,, entrance carpets soaking wet in winter, etc........Tip: take advantage of any freebies they offe.Placed right next to the cash register is a daily special item. If she does not offer it to you, you're entitled it for free. & spend over $200 you're entitled to a free product that you must pick up by the cust servi counter before you leave store i (f you remember) I've received patio furniture hair products meat products.

Just your average super store. Some of the food items are priced higher then other superstores I have been to. This is most likely due to the fact that the store is located on the North end of Vancouver Island. Other then that the store has a nice selection of items, when I was there, there was a lot of registers open. The staff was not overly friendly, but it's a grocery store so what do you expect.

I never buy my meat or produce at Superstore, I've never been impressed with either. I find the store hard to navigate especially on the weekends and the lack of check out line make me not want to return. They do sometimes have good sales but I shop there maybe once a month. I don't find the staff overly helpful either.

Great Canadian store to go to! This one in Moose Jaw is also great. They always have a good selection of food and fresh vegetables. The worker's at the till's are always nice and friendly. The only thing that I can complain about is the ' Self Checkout ', not that I ever use it but the 2 times I tried it out it sucked and didn't work very well. :( But, overall is a great store to go grocery shopping!

As an American in Canada, this is one of the most bombastically named Canadian chains I've encountered - and they even go on and on about the president here instead of some silly British parliamentary nonsense. To boot, the prices are competitive, and there's an interesting section of general merchandise to kick things up a notch. Also, it seems that no matter how small the city might seem, you'll find a fairly impressive fresh seafood counter - even in Moose Jaw. Ten out of ten, will do again (and again and again). Real Canadian Superstore, I salute you!

I think they do it so homeless people don't take the carts across town.. Then again homeless people probably wouldn't hang around there hustling people for loonies if there were no loonie carts...

Cheapest grocery store in town, especially if you buy bulk stuff. Unfortunately every single week I shop here I have an issue with with my click and collect as in they are out of something, or I'm given expired products. Sometimes I even buy meat and it says it expires in a few days and open the pack to discover it'd spoiled. This week I bought a pack of Persimmon and the amount of pesticides on it was just awful I couldn't continue eating it, and I was given applesauce that expired 3 months ago! I want so badly to love this store but it's getting very disappointing. I love the PC plus program but I'm not saving money if I have to discard thing or spend more gas money to go a second time and return stuff. As expensive as they are I think I'm ready to exclusively switch to Save on Foods; I'm never disappointed with their store.

Do you know the difference taste wise between Kellogg's corn flakes and presidents choice? This is a common question we all ask before making a purchase decision. There's always a fine line between marketing your own store labels with other reputable brands, not to mention generic no name label products. Each to their own, but what Superstore has done is made the store large enough to provide you the variety to suit your preferences. Always watch the layout on the shelves. Not hard to tell its laid out sneaky like. Often the store label item is a little less (watch the pack size) priced and you are left to decide between two different products made by two suppliers. One you will like and the other will probably taste like cardboard. Next time you buy you will not make the same mistake again. I will add that its worth mentioning that Superstore has improved their produce quality over the last few years. But like anything it requires smart preventative maintenance to keep the wilted produce pulled and keep the fresh always looking fresh. A blind person should be able to buy produce and always pick up A grade quality. Management has to decide what level of shrink they can tolerate in order to maintain high quality standards.

Disgusted to find out i sent instacart to shop here for me spending $400 and superstore refused to give them the free gift they offer in flyer...why because I paid instacart for the groceries the lady i spoke to on the phone said, so I geuss shes saying the lady from instacart walked in there and took $400 in groceries without paying superstore? Well it's hard to beat the prices here, especially cause it's Fort McMurray. However I hate having to shop here, it's not a nice place to shop, everyone is in a rush, way to crowded and there are serious problems with the fruit and vegetables. The quality check isn't there and even though they will mark down returned or molding items it should be at least reduced to 50% off because there's barely 50% of the fruit edible anymore. Also the PC points system is quite pathetic.

I am a very disappointed customer and after a terrible experience at this store I will not likely shop there again. I visited the Superstore on my November 8th, 2017 to buy a few groceries before meeting my fiancee for a birthday dinner. When I got checked in at the cash, the young male cashier asked if I had PC points. I have been a loyal PC customer for over 10yrs, utilizing their banking and credit card services. Before I had a chance to scan my card he told me there was an issue and the screen was telling him that I could not scan my card and a member was already signed in. He was unable to fix this issue, so he called a supervisor who promptly came over. She asked him if he had scanned the previous customer's card, he said he was unsure. She spoke to another employee then proceeded to tell me I could no longer use my credit card for PC points. I am aware of the transition from PC to Simplii financial, however I had about $80 in points that I wanted to use. I asked her how I was going to get my points from my current $100+ purchase, she tried to sign me up with a PC points card, but was unsuccessful. She told me I would need to go to customer service. I picked up my giant bag of dog food and heavy grocery bag that I had strategically packed myself and followed her, she did not offer to assist. At customer service I was told the computer was prompting them to verify my e-mail, I asked how that could be, when I had not scanned my card yet. The lady then called the cashier who I'd initially been dealing with who finally fessed up that he had scanned his personal PC points card prior to dealing with me. This made no sense because there was a customer right before me, I'm not sure when he found the time to do this, unless he was actually trying to steal my PC points and thought I would not put up a fight. The lady at customer service told this employee he was on probation and should not be checking his personal card while he has customers. Then the lady told me I would need to re-scan all of my items at the self check in, she took my bag and brought it over, then did this for me. However, once everything was re-scanned she left all of my items spread out everywhere and told me I would need to re-bag it myself. I was disgusted with the customer service. I also tried to send an e-mail to let them know so something could be done and their website doesn't allow you to send in complaints. I'm not sure how they plan to improve their issues when they don't allow customers to give feedback. I tried a dozen times and it was unsuccessful each time. Save on foods customer services = 1 million times better. It's a night and day difference.

Great place, it's always about the people! Though the front door area could do with a little organization! The only problem, I notice they don't have someone at the door to make sure you follow the procedures for Covid! And making sure that you're wearing you're mask or keeping your distance from other people! It's spread out, depending on what you're seeking! From the pharmacy, to electronics, to kitchen items! They also carry food items from frozen to international items! To Deli, to sushi, to even a bakery! The entrance & Parkway is suitable for someone who has disabilities! Wheelchair accessible!

She ripped the item out of my hand then started training someone on how to use the terminal. They were still on the bottom of the cooler two weeks later. You can accumulate free groceries in no time. They are partnering with Shoppers drug mart Jan. 2018 and you will be able to use points from both stores earned in either store for freebies.

If you don't have a Costco, this is the next best place with groceries, and little bit of everything, Medical clinic, photo printing, pharmacy, cell phones, clothes, garden center (in summer) banking, gas, and rewards that actually are useful. I have had no bad experiences with the store employees. Besides, if you aren't a people person then you can use the self checkout. The parking lot is not very efficient and a little confusing. That being said, very few places in moose jaw seem to have decent parking arrangements and there is lots of space to park. All around one of my favourite go-to places to shop

I shop here every week because it is the cheapest place to go in Fort McMurray. That being said there are never carts in the cart bays. And if there are they are broken. I have a baby and running around the parking lot for 5 minutes trying to find a cart is not ideal. The same thing happened in the winter when I was 8 months pregnant trying to find a cart in -30 weather. They need more carts!

This is one of my favourite grocery stores in town. It has lots of variety and fresh high quality produce compared to other stores that may have less fresh greens. It also has an excellent selection of meats and fish. If you want various ethnic or other world foods you can find it here one or two rows away from the Mac n cheese. Also has clothes and kitchen wares too although I don’t go to that side much.

I used to love shopping here and I ended up moveing up town. I just recently moved closer to the downtown area and decided to come back and over all it was good. Sence this virus broke out all the stores including this one seam to be doing a great job untill I went to by a case of water yesterday and it cost me 10$ that's with the deposit. Not impressed on how that price got jacked up over night seams to be alittle taken advantage of this virus. I will also say this, normally this store has the best pricing over everyone in town so I was very shocked when i got to the till and it was that much. Untill I see that water go back down in price I will be keeping this 2 stare rating.

It's always a gong show at this place. It's usually other customers driving the carts dangerously or ignoring the personal space thing. But I love the clothes. And we get a lot of our groceries there (because there's a lot of dairy free options there). Also, I am not put off by homeless folks normally. We don't typically carry change- but some of them want to take your cart back for your dollar, which is fine- but it would be nice if the parking lot was lit up better so they're not sneaking up on unsuspecting customers.

I like Superstore for the convenience of a one stop shop. Their prices are quite competitive and if you bring in an advertised price from another competitor they'll match it. We shop there weekly, so we easily spend $10,000 a year there. One thing that irks me though is that some items aren't priced. For instance recently there was a large display in the produce section, but no price. I asked the clerk what the price was and he didn't know (???) but he directed me to one of their many scanners, a couple of hundred feet away and an aisle over. The scanner didn't work. And it didn't work the next week or for some time after that. And you would think that if the store has so many priceless (ahem) items and so many scanners for said items that they would have an area by the scanners for the rejects. Not so. So the money spent to hire an employee to restock rejected unpriced items left around the store could be spent to price said items and save customers the time and grief in the first place. We've reached the point where we just ignore items that aren't priced, and buy them elsewhere.

Typical Fort McMurray store. Absolutely no staff on the floor to assist customers. Depending on the day you go there the shelves could be fully stocked or completely bare. It's very disheartening to see the disparity between the multibillion-dollar companies that operate in this City and the service industry that supports Fort McMurray. There are so many opportunities for improvement. As a longtime resident I rarely see the local service industry step up to the level that is expected in the industry. It's pretty sad to see a very wealthy customer base completely ignored by local businesses. In any other economic environment most of these businesses would fail.

cheated me. ..bought a sony sound bar from there on thursday. ...paid $200 . checked on other store websites same one on best buy , walmart and futureshop was $150 it was online and available in stock.printed out the page ...when i asked them for price match they said they need auth from manager and there is no manager on duty so come tomorrow. next day i went there to show them. they asked for flyer. i checked it was still same price $150 but the flyer has been changed because it was Friday i did not know that but they knew it thats why they wanted to let me wait till flyer change. when i talked to manager ANN MARY CALLAHAN. She said the same thing they need a flyer.She was very rude and said walmart and other stores are cheater they put it online and dont keep it in stock so they do not believe on online flyers. . but i dont know..what to do.. even i could not return to them because i already opened the box and connected to my tv.i thought the manager will do the price match so no need to worry..but .. finally i paid $50 extra with no reason...so bad customer service....i hope they wont cheat any one else...

I came in to try and get some quick change for parking at the college. The self check out does not take cash. I had to line up behind several people at one of the 3 open tills to purchase 1 item. I asked the cashier for toonies while her till was open. She must have misunderstood or not heard me because she took out loonies. I tried to correct her but she had already closed her till. I then had to wait at customer service for an attendant to change my loonies to toonies. The customer service counter attendant was confrontational and argumentative towards me. She did not directly argue with me however she kept insisting that the girl at the check out lane knew the difference between loonies and toonies. I really could not care less if the girl knew the difference between loonies and toonies. I just wanted to get some change quickly for parking at the college. This trip was not quick at all and I probably would have had better luck getting change quickly at one of the other grocery stores or convenience stores. I doubt I will be going back to this super store any time soon.

Cashiers and the employees directing traffic at the front of the store are great!!! The employees who push those oversized carts around to fill online orders need a lesson on courtesy and customer service. Picking up groceries today and kept running into these huge carts parked in the middle of the aisle, sometimes two or three in the same aisle. The employees just ignored us (the customers in the store) while they filled their orders and they are slow as molasses. Maybe superstore should have these employees leave their carts at the end of the aisle or use regular size carts or....be courteous...if an aisle is busy maybe come back to it later or fill those orders early morning and late evening. What an awful experience today. I may have to go Regina for groceries

Was in there at the end of the day, to quickly buy a couple items. They were about to close. A lady followed me around right behind me the whole time! Like I was a shoplifter... there were several people that came to the register after me and I left way before them. Maybe she was security but she was way way way to overbearing and aggressive. I've been a good continuous customer at superstore for years, and they just lost my business from how she was treated that situation... if you want to feel like you're in prison while shopping. Dirty cluttered store, isles packed with stock on pallets waiting to be put on the shelves. Empty shelves everywhere. Prices often don’t match the product and always seems to be mislabeled with a price that is actually cheaper than the real price. If you’re not watching when you go through the till, you will be charged too much. When you are overcharged, the staff plays dumb when you ask about the “Scanning Code of Ethics!” Also bill themselves as the “Real Canadian Superstore” but continue to sell second rate produce from other countries and seafood from everywhere but Canada. Canadians produce and harvest some of the best produce and seafood in the world! Why does Superstore continue to support other countries before our own?? Not enforcing public health order of a mask policy during a world wide pandemic. Many people wandering around the store without masks on.

This is a recently renovated store & the new look is impressive, place feels definitely classy. Particularly the lovely new bathrooms, which previously were a disgusting disgrace. The shopping experience here is pleasant, even enjoyable. Superstore always has excellent sales . Plus there is a wide, varied selection of foods & items. It is a drugstore, clothing, electronics, books, household items, plants and food store. One stop shop with good value for money.

This was my 1st to visit Moose Jaw Superstore. The store is clean and big. I was impressed with the selection in the Nature Foods section. Everything was good until when I went for self-checkout. A female local worker at the self-checkout suddenly showed up while I was checking out my grocery, instead of using a better tone to talk to me, she yelled at me instead! She said I had too many items and hold the traffic and wanted me don’t use self-checkout the next time if I have too many items. I was in shock! I didn’t see any limit sign plus no workers stop me from checkout, they even nicely led me to a pay station(the other 2 male workers were nice). I lined up like everyone else. If there were so many people, why not open more machines for other people instead of just running 3 machines? She blamed me the 2nd time behind my back and I overheard it. I live in the Southwest Sask area and have never experienced anything like this before. I was the worse customer service I have to encounter in SK! I even felt like have been discriminated against. It probably would be the last time I visit the Superstore in Moose Jaw. Happened on June 3, 2020 4:55 pm

There have been some issues with shelves being stocked and aisles being cleaned, but in general I just see that as a sign of a strong local economy. The PC Rewards programs is excellent and easy to use. Everything runs through a phone app that is easy to scan in the store and instantly earn free groceries. This location has a pharmacy and optical boutique, making it very convenient for shopping all in one place. Keep up the great work, Superstore.

Not the first time it happens to me. I always buy Skim Milk, big jug, still good until August 27th and already turned bad. The first jug, I thought maybe it is my fridge, but nope! new fridge, then I started to pay attention, second time the milk turned bad, a quarter was left, so no big deal, to much gas to return it. Today, more than half a jug is bad. enough is enough. What's wrong with Superstore Campbell River? When I shop, I always carry a cooler with ice packs in to be sure, no temp shocks . Dairy buyer should pay more attention. I guess I'll go to Thrifty Food, pay more but always equal quality. I had to clic on star to be able to post my review, even if this time they don't deserve it, consider it as a "star minus"

Starting to get very disappointed with this store and seriously questioning weather I will be back. As of late I have been that annoying customer that has to question the poor cashier regarding clearance items (not just misplaced items but full caselot of products). But today I went in to exchange my water bottle (Canadiab Spring) to be told that any I have at home must be returned for refund of deposit before the 9Th of this month so now I have z bottle of this in my cooler currently and unsure if I will be done it in the 7 days but I cant take for return to the bottle depot as it it must be done via the retailer that Carrie's said water. Ok so now I could quite possibly be out the $10 so I get the deposit back on today's purchase the new Oasis brand to see an increase of over 1.50 and told I now own this new bottle from a new company same deposit what is happening. Usef to be a decent place to shop reasonable prices ,but appears this is a thing of the past.

There are 3 checkouts plus the self serve checkouts open right now. The queues stretch to the other side of the store. As I type this, 3 managers are standing at the customer service desk discussing vacation destinations. 2 staff members are waiting patiently to speak to them. Bags are rationed at the self checkouts because I guess people stealing 5 cent plastic bags was such a huge issue here. There's a reason we call the place Stupid Store.

I picked up two packages baby back ribs with what is supposed to be 4 racks of ribs at almost $50 per package. From what I could see the ribs looked good. When I got home and opened the packages the two racks on top in each package were ok but the two “racks” underneath were nothing but scraps or trimmings. This is not the first time Superstore has done this and I thought I would give them another chance. Never again!!!! I paid almost $100 for 4 racks of ribs. The rest wasn’t worth cooking. Safeway is a little higher in price but they package it so you can see it all. Don’t buy at superstore!!!!!

Despite company policy being that you need to wear a mask to enter, the staff at the door was not turning anyone without masks away. Several people in the store were not wearing masks or following social distancing. Not sure i will be shopping here even after covid is over.
