I had a really disappointing experience in their electronics department. When I tried to purchase a replacement charger for my laptop, the sales rep claimed that I would have to spend $90. When I mentioned that I had bought one for much cheaper elsewhere recently - he said flippantly said "Oh that must have been a couple of years ago." I said I'd be shopping elsewhere and left the store. I drove over to Best Buy and found exactly what I was looking for - for less than half the price that London Drugs wanted.

Even though I had experienced poor customer service, I really appreciated how quick London Drugs Management has gotten back in touch with me. Thank you so much! To the Manager of LD , I recently visited LD at the Mall and experienced poor customer service. I always enjoy shopping at the photo lab but my last visit to have passport pictures taken was just horrible. There were two customers ahead of me having pictures taken and I was patiently waiting for my turn. The staff member that has taken the pictures was very friendly and respectful to those customers. Due to the staff being busy as it was on a Saturday, I was transferred over to another staff that worked behind the till at the photo lab. The male staff got a bit upset that he was asked to help me out. The first thing I was asked : “You need the pictures for a permanent residency application ?” Why would he assume that I’m taking it for a PR application ? Maybe because I have a different skin tone ? He didn’t greet me or anything and just wanted to get this done. Taking a passport picture is very important but I was totally rushed throughout the process. Very disappointed with my recent visit :-(

(Translated) ⚠️Personal experience sharing on the purchase of computer maintenance insurance⚠️ Unless you know how to repair personally, you must buy computer and other electronic products in Canada with maintenance insurance for the next few years, because once the warranty period has expired, there is no additional maintenance, coordination of maintenance, payment of maintenance costs, and other requirements. The time and energy wasted repeatedly tossing is really not worth it. I bought an Apple computer in the electronics department of this store. Since no additional maintenance insurance was purchased at that time, after a one-year warranty period, a sudden crash occurred, and the repair cost was far more than three years of maintenance insurance, but it was still not completely normal after that. Due to the shorter warranty period after re-repair, you can only contact Apple for after-sales maintenance. It takes a lot of time and energy. Why give it a two-star rating, because I think the level of maintenance personnel is uneven. After my computer crashed, it was sent for repair for the first time. The lady who received me judged it was a hardware problem when it was turned on. However, after they took the computer, the gentleman in charge of the maintenance told me that it was a software problem and needed to reinstall the system. After paying to reinstall the system, the crash occurred again for a while. It was judged as a hardware problem when it was sent for repair again, and the motherboard was replaced. If it is a hardware problem, the cost and time of reinstalling the system for the first time are wasted. A few months back I was shopping at this box store with my 3 year old son. I used to shop here a lot. My 3 year old had to pee, so I went to the customer service and asked where is their washroom? They said we don't have one and you must go down the mall to starbucks. After a million dollar reno they forgot the washrooms??? I had my 3 year old doing the pee-pee dance down the mall to starbucks to go. The staff at starbucks were great and let us use their washroom. I went back to London Drugs and told customer service I was mad. Put all my items back and left and never returned to a London Drugs. Now London Drugs, I'm middle aged and have a good income, think of how many people you made mad by not having a simple washroom? The money you're loosing for not having a staff member spend 15 minutes cleaning a washroom daily.

I love the manager at this location, sweet and polite man, his staff are kind and professional, unfortunately they have a horrible lady that works at the postal service on week days, she is absolutely horrible, rude and impatience. I will be using a different Canada Post location from now on as she yelled at me and humiliated me in front of my 5 year old sweet girl. This lady it isn't suitable for the job she has. So very sad and terrifying experience.

Garbage cell phone services. I came in the get a new phone and was told I had to pay off the rest of my old phone. I agreed to do that, i knew i had to pay a bit for the new phone as well. Turns out a month later I'm charged over 300 dollars for the new and old phone. I'm extremely disappointed in the services and the person I spoke to was extremely rude about it. I asked to speak with someone higher up and she said her manager wasn't in til friday and I can come back then. I expect friendly and helpful staff, not rudeness.

This place does passport photos beautifully, painlessly and with godspeed! Friendly, courteous staff, willing to help. It took under 5 minutes time. A bit of a scramble getting in as my child used the wheelchair ramp from the lot and the fella monitoring the door wasn't obvious in that he wore no 'signage' so he just looked like a guy standing there and we kind of caught shyte with him because we headed in thru the door not realizing that a c19-protocol had been established down the sidewalk. He seemed rather annoyed so we shrugged it off to him maybe having a stressful day. Sorry dude. Bigger signage maybe for those walking in off the lot? We did wear our medicon-masks though and did that physical distancing thing as well! Better days!

FYI careful when buying and dealing in some store to avoid headache. Frustrating with electronics we retuned the 21” ACER monitor & Tower broken and exchanged to Mac. Next we purchased Acer Nitro Gaming Monitor price is $189.99 on sale but without any explanation from this staff, soon he hand my receipt the price change to $195.66 I didn’t know that theres this $6.00 extra charge for the sales person who assisted us. Last year September with my glitchy XR phone that has warranty under apple long story but they messed up completely that i need to take it to Surrey Guildford Mall to get replace easy. The Instructions from apple support is take to drop off authorized seller (Lobdon Drugs) for replacement but they tried to fixed it. They call me after 11 days to pickup I noticed they never replaced the phone and it went worst. I don’t trust them anymore time consuming waste of money stressful to deal with their sales staff.

I'm glad to report that styrofoam & soft plastics are being accepted again. "Small quantities, please". Courteous staff and excellent community service. Posted here so that you don't have to wait on hold to ask the same question! THIS IS AN UPDATE. NOVEMBER 2021 Styrofoam is no longer being accepted because it cannot be recycled at the moment.... ie NO STYROFOAM. There is a polite notice outside the store to this effect but it is being ignored. Please take your styrofoam to the big box stores where you got your stuff from and ask them to take it!! This store has done a fantastic job of recycling. Please respect their request and DO NOT TAKE STYROFOAM, only soft plastic!

This rating and review is for Pacific Blue Cross drug plans only. Blue Cross has some sort of deal with them and the prescription medications are substantially cheaper than places like IDA or Pharmasave. If you have Blue cross for your drug coverage this is place to go. As far as that concerns it's a five but I haven't actually shopped here so I can't comment on anything else.

I recently visited this store to get my Macbook Pro fixed. I was greeted by really great employees who wanted to help me out as much as possible. They were also able to get my Macbook Pro back to me within a week, which was fantastic! Overall, my experience with the electronic repair part of the store was exactly what I hoped for. One thing to note is that they will charge $50 for labor, but otherwise you are in capable hands. I highly recommend this store if you need your laptop fixed.

Extremely disappointing experience today. My husband, myself, and our young son have been loyal customers at this particular location for over a decade. I don't usually write reviews, but felt the need to, so maybe this company can learn something from our feedback regarding this unfortunate experience. We came in today to the Quadra location to look for a product that was advertised as on sale online. It showed that there were several items in stock. We called ahead of time and were told that the items were kept in the back, not on the floor. When we got to the store and asked one of the employees if he could help us find the items, he seemed annoyed by us asking, no smile no friendliness at all. We told him when we called earlier to inquire about the items we were told that they were kept in the back. So we let the employee know this. We told him we could give him the actual product number if it would help him. He said "No I don't need that" and asked us to let him look for it himself grumbling about how there were several different types of this product. After sitting and waiting for 10 minutes he returned and said he did need the product number from us after all. All in all perhaps the employee was just having a bad day, or maybe he didn't care for his job much, however, when you work with the public, you need to treat everyone with KINDNESS and that didn't happen for us today. Disappointing.. We will be taking our business elsewhere from now on.

Such an incredible experience - Went in today and bought a Canon EOS M200 and the manager (I think manager of that specific department but not sure) cashed me out and was SUPER knowledgeable. He gave me some great tips, and helped me to get everything I needed for the camera, and found me some great cost savings as well. His energy was also contagious and I left in such a positive mood. Honestly have never had a better experience in a store!! Will definitely be going back here for similar purchases in the future. Thank you for making my day!!!

I called to inquire if the store actually had what I was looking for in stock compared to what their website said. I was alternately put on hold and transferred to four different people over the course of fifteen minutes. I was inquiring about a Magic Bullet, not the Ark of the Covenant. I didn't think my question was that difficult. The woman I finally got through to was very helpful and even agreed that my hold time was unacceptable. In the end, they didn't have any despite what their website said, and I ultimately found what I was looking for elsewhere. Putting a customer on hold for fifteen minutes is bad enough customer service. Transferring them to three different departments is even worse. If you don't know, SAY SO.

Awesome store. I generally like all London Drugs stores because of the selection, prices and the staff in each department seem knowledgeable, generally happy to help & want to try to do good by the customer. This one in particular has an amazing selection of products in many departments, for example, they have quite a good selection of natural deodorants, organic coffee (single serve pods, whole bean, & ground) as well as quite a few different artisanal style crackers and cookies, not usually found in a grocery store. Also, they're putting in an Apple service center (certified of course) in their electronics department and they have a lot of other electronics as well. Not a huge selection of computers, but many TV's, speakers and accessories. Also a good drink selection. Along with all the usual products you've come to expect at a London Drugs store.

This is my favourite London Drugs in town. While they are all good I have always found the service to be extremely excellent. I had a problem with a computer under warranty. Due to a miscommunication it went to ASUS with a technician having documented dirt I had missed and heavy use and not the power problem I had taken in during the day when it was new to have documented. London Drugs ensured that was made right like any other time I have had an issue. You get superior service and if there is something you want that they are not big enough to stock and write off they will special order the device of your dreams or lens or whatever. They are proactive in price matching and vs some places which might treat and extended warranty as you having to take a lesser replacement as the exact tends to be obsolete fast they are keen that you have the equal. Pharmacy service is terrible: surly employees, long wait times to drop off prescriptions. Everyone I've dealt with in the pharmacy seems to hate being there and dislike interacting with customers. I've waited for over 5 minutes to pick up a prescription when there was no one at the counter while listening to one employee (clearly doing nothing) complain/gossip to another pharmacy employee meanspiritedly about a third. Very unprofessional, and I will be transferring my prescriptions elsewhere.

I came in here for the first time looking to purchase a laptop as mine had crashed and i desperately needed one for school. I already knew which lap top I wanted after looking online. I have never been treated so poorly in my life by customer service. There was an older lady with glasses in the tv area and I asked her where I could find the laptops and she rudely stated "in the lap top section" .. gave me no direction or bothered to show me just treated me like I was young and dumb. I couldn't believe her attitude... I then walked away and went and found it near the back of the store. After talking to a very helpful employee about the lap top i was interested in he went to check if they had it in stock. I was then on the phone discussing with my husband about the lap top I was getting when the supervisor came over to INTERRUPT me regarding my service dog. So I promptly got off the phone to answer address her. I couldn't believe this rude behaviour toward me for no reason happened again with a different employee. So I asked if she was the supervisor and she said yes so I began to tell her about the attitude I received by the first lady at the front and she CUT ME OFF, not letting me finish and bothered to care what I had to say, walked away saying shed find me a paper to fill out. Honestly what the heck is going on???? After this I just left obviously not bothering to purchase the $600 lap top and bought it elsewhere. I suggest some changes be made regarding staff, until then I will never be back. But thank you to the only helpful and normally nice guy in the laptop department.

London Drugs is an awesome local BC company. They have remained friendly, professional and helpful throughout the pandemic. I always check out London Drugs first before turning to Amazon or the big box stores. I also really appreciate their recycling services!

I had an issue with Telus and was already dreading how to deal with it before entering this store. Luckily I had Ricky and Liam at my side and got everything sorted. They worked together very well, scratching their heads about how to solve my unique issue throigh Telus, eventually coming up with a plan and executing it as efficiently as possible while helping other customers. Without these two gentleman I would not have figured any of this out, and I am certain not every employee out there would have taken the time and patience it required to resolve. They truly went above and beyond, Thanks!

Very bad experience, never go to this shop to repair your laptop, I waste too much time and money. Two weeks ago my Mac accidentally smashed the screen and I booked the appointment for fix, but until now I didn’t get it. They said only needs 3-5 days ????. I don’t know what to do, and they said you can cancel it and buy a new one........

Had a really unfortunate experience at the pharmacy this morning. The worker was so cold to me when I asked her a question, laughed, was very judgmental and did not help me at all, pointing to where the product was, which it wasn’t and someone else had to come out and help me. I asked if I was able to purchase the product at the counter because I felt a little nervous and embarrassed to go up to a male at the front counter and she rudely told me I had to go to the front. It was a really uncomfortable and frustrating experience and I left feeling really embarrassed.

Been there twice recently to seek for advice on medicine for my wife and child. The male doctor with glasses just think he’s much better than giving advice on medication so he asked me to wait for a pharmacist. I stood there for half an hour with my child standing beside me, and the pharmacists were just talking to each other and laughing, completely ignoring that there were people waiting in the line. Much worse than shopper drug mart where the doctor are always willing to give advice on which medicine I should take. Will never go there again.

I just had to share my fabulous customer service experience I had today with both Kathryne S. and Melanie G.. I had an issue at the till with an item and they both went did an outstanding job of getting me sorted (even though I was being a tad difficult). Normally I wouldn't leave a review for good service but they were both so polite and helpful. Great Employees. I will shop here again.

I was at the make=up counter on Sunday Oct. 27 about 1:30. I was trying to find a new sunscreen and the clerk there helped me find a really good one. What I thought would take a long time didn't take long at all. She was very knowledgeable, helpful and enthusiastic. A real keeper!

This is a very good store with very knowledgeable and helpful staff. I've never had a bad experience here. The one complaint I do have though is the parking lot at this location isn't designed all that well, although I will say that this parking lot is WAY better that the Harris Green Village lot.

Tried their online ordering. Item ordered was available but not at this location. They were not able to get their act together and fulfill my order. Staff sounded desperate and I therefore decided to cancel the order. But this is not the worst of their online business. A second item I ordered was incorrectly fulfilled. They gave me an item of a smaller size compared to what I ordered and paid for. Very disappointed with their online service.

Had a bad experience trying get my passport photo done. The lady kept touching me without my consent even after I asked her not to. She told me I had crooked shoulders, which is not her place to say anything about my body. I left in tears. Will not be going back to this particular London drugs for photo needs in the future. Will go elsewhere.

The pharmacy at this location is absolutely terrible. Literally every time I've gone in to fill/refill/pick up a prescription, they have SOME sort of problem. They don't keep information in their system properly, and the staff are always incredibly rude to me when I go in. Also, they always say their busy when EVERY TIME I go in, (during the late afternoon) but they're all just standing around talking about movies and food they've eaten recently. Very unprofessional pharmacy, and I would avoid it at all costs.

Issue with system loosing orders. Rya in the photo lab was a welcome breath of fresh air. In my opinion she asked the right questions and listened to my responses. Took ownership and made herself available for ME! Didn't assume the system wouldn't fail again. Had a bad up plan for me. A first rate customer service representative. ????

Today I went into the chilliwack location to purchase makeup was followed around that department and asked by 3 different staff that came down every isle I was on asking if they could help me find something when never have i been asked before. The. I went to the customer service til to pay for my purchase where I was asked to pull down my mask when I went to cash in my lotto tickets the cashier excuse was that she was making sure I was of age. I am 53 with a highly immune compromised system. Number one that is why I have I.d. two I have cancer and to be made to remove my mask at this time was unacceptable . I will be contacting the news station and my lawyer with regards to this matter as I feel that I was wrongfully followed around and that I was put at risk today by being told to pull down my mask. Not to mention if I contract covid 19 due to the pulling down of mask I will be taking further action. My character was put into question I was embarrased and I have been put at risk. I feel like he goes the extra mile every time. In other stores its, oh its out of stock but with James he actually tries to find it and one time he found a box in the back with the product I wanted.
