I called up Sami, for I found mice in my basement. He came ASAP and ensured this problem will not be reoccurring. Affordable and honest businessman. I would definetley recommend these small business, especially Sami's.

Sami was very professional. He responded to us quickly on a stat holiday. He was extremely fair with his price. We had a very minor problem of mice with maybe 5 to 10 in population so we didnt see any droppings after his treatment. My in laws house had 100 to 200 mice and they were all gone from his one visit within a month. Very happy and grateful of him protecting our home in a cost effective method. Thank you so much sami.

Sami did very good job, there was a issue with mice entering my house. He came on time and he covered the gaps leading to my home. He did this all by himself and insured that this problem will not be reoccuring. I definitely recommend his services for he gets the job done.

Ecostar is the worst small business I've ever dealt with in Calgary. Based on my terrible experience with him, I would strongly discourage anyone from paying money for any of their services. I called Sammi (who I believe is the owner and only active employee in the company) at the end of August to clear a vole problem that I had over the summer. He guaranteed me that his vole poison was so effective that I would see dead voles within 48 hours and no voles at all in a month. He came to my house within 24 hours of my call to provide an assessment and quote. After he quickly assessed the area, he laid traps in questionable areas in odd proximity to the holes and assured that the voles would not be able to resist being attracted and consuming the poison. After the first week of him laying rhe traps, there were an increased number of vole holes and no signs of any dead voles. I contacted Sammi and he said that I would have to wait the full month for any results which was not what he told me before I paid him for his services. After a month, the number of holes in my yard had increased by more than double. I asked Sammi to come check and see what was going on, which he agreed to. He never showed up after giving me a date when he would come (I stayed home from work on that day) and has ignored email, phone, and text messages since. I filed a BBB complaint against EcoStar and Sammi also ignored them. It is clear that EcoStar is a fraudulent and dishonest business and I encourage you to save your money and direct it to another business that is actually professional and respectful of their customers. If google would've allowed it, I would post the before and after pictures of my lawn. It is now a disaster and overrun with overbreeding voles.

I woke up with cockroaches in my basement and spreading to my main floor. I called up EcoStar Pest Control. They had fair pricing and amazing service. I really like these small businesses and would love for them to grow. I definitely recommend EcoStar for any Pest problems.

Sami treated my mom’s house and we also called him in for our current house for mice issues. He was incredibly nice, informative and efficient. The mouse problem in my mom’s house was gone in a month and he quickly discovered and sealed the point of entry in our house and left poison boxes. After seeing the results from our last house I’m completely confident that this problem will be solved too. Would definitely recommend him to anyone.

Gave Sami a call during the summer to get rid of this crazy wasp nest! He came in and gave me a quote which I was really surprised by how cheap he was. He came later that weak and started to work right away like he had everything planned out. Worked crazy in the hot weather. I appreciate everything he did and will be giving him a call again if I encounter any complications!

Had Sammi come to my house for wasps, did an extraordinary job. Very brave going towards the wasps and being able to spray with them flying around. Very affordable and amazing small business. Fully recommend him and for sure give him a call next time I need him!

Had a bad experience with Sammi. As a small business owner as well I would like to support other small businesses but his customer service is terrible and gives small business owners a bad name. He was friendly at the beginning then it went downhill. Will never recommend. Save your money and go some where else. I even offered to pay him again to come back he but was just rude. We had a wasp issue on the side of the house. He came promptly as we had a few kids that got stun. So a positive to him on that. He came he sprayed a liquid then a powder then said it's all fixed. He said he guaranteed his work and the wasps won't return. He said the wasps won't go away until 2 days and if they return give him a call. We waited for 2 days as he directed. When I called him to tell him the wasps are back and still returning to the same hole he was a bit rude about it but agreed to come back. He did come back the next morning - thank you for that. He met with my father and the saw wasps flying around but nothing going back in the hole. He called to yell at me to say he didn't see any wasps go back in the hole and he waited 5 minutes there. To his credit he did put more powder in the hole. Here is where it gets messy. My wife was outside and saw more wasps this evening and took pictures (i texted the picture to him) and video of the wasps going into another hole beside the one Sammi "fixed and killed the nest". So I called Sammi with a very friendly tone and told him who i was and the new issue of the new hole. I told him if he had time could he come and take a look. I would pay him again for his time. He yelled at "You're not my only customer, just go plug that hole up yourself and it will be fixed. ... you're not listening, just go plug it up and it would be done... i'm not coming back as you're not my only customer." It is fair that i'm not his only customer, but 1. I offered to pay him again for his time 2. he said his work is guaranteed. I hope you fix your service. Maybe its because I'm Asian he's treating us like this but the rude attitude needs to be fixed as there are other pest control companies I'm going to use to fix my wasp problem that was supposed to be fixed.

Called EcoStar for mice around my basement, even though there was a lot of stuff and furniture. He still decided to move everything himself. Very amazing man, and very good work done by him. Had no mice by the next month. I've already recommended him to my neighbours and for everyone to call him!

Came back promptly when problem discovered 6 weeks later. Hopefully building is well-sealed now. Update a year later. Mice are back in the building. Contacted the service provider, and have not heard back in over 36hr.

When we came back from back home, I guess our luggage carried bed bugs back with us. We didn’t realize for a little while but when we did, it was bad. I was searching up videos to see what could be done, (because we did not have the money to deal with overpriced exterminators) but our case was way too severe. I went onto google to call a bunch of places to get an approximate quote over the phone, The prices were CRAZY HIGH and me and my family became super stressed out, I finally called Ecostar pest control and his price was WAY LOWER than any other company we called. We were scared that this would be low quality work because of the price, but this was AMAZING WORK, and he managed to get rid of all the bed bugs, and called back a couple times weeks later to check up on us and make sure we see no more signs of bed bugs. I am not one to write reviews on google, but this was a review well deserved, will be coming back to Sammi for any future needs, and will recommend to anyone who asks.
