I've had an escalating problem with ants and raccoons --- not quite related to each other, but with torn up yards and little black crawlies making their way into the house, I'd had enough. I had these guys come in after trying two different companies last year. Both were disastrous. The Atlas guy was by far the most thorough and told me not to waste money on extras. His crew came in, took their time, and treated my house like a home. In contrast, I paid the other companies for those "extras" last year. It turned out to be a complete rip off. I have two homes next door to each other. After my frustration with finding trustworthy pest control, I'm giving both properties to these guys here on in.

We live in a really old home and there were rats inside the walls. Atlas went around the house and filled in all the spots that the rats had gotten in. To make sure any rats that were inside the walls could get out, and stay out, Altas installed one way small pet doors on the exits. This effectively sealed off all the exits. The service was kind, fast, professional, and within the proposed time window. The person who came talked with me a bit about working for Atlas. He had worked with Atlas for over 10 years, and said that it was a small business, and that everyone took really good care of him, and so he was trying to take really good care of them too. When I called in to the support team, it was friendly and down to earth.

Awful service. They came and moved my infested mattress against the sink away from the bedroom area, then sprayed one wall. I came home and still saw plenty of alive and well bedbugs on my mattress and boxspring. I was told they take 2 weeks to die out. All my stuff was cleaned and locked away in bags. I came back home after 2 weeks only to find more alive bed bugs and told I'd have to pay more for them to come back.

When it comes to rats these guys are the best. Extremely knowledgeable about their behavior and how to remove them and keep them OUT of your house, instead of just killing them and walking away like some of the other companies do. You can tell they're passionate about their work. They take the time to find entrance points around the house and properly assess the best way to seal them. After they were done, I wasn't ashamed to have parties in the basement! The technician (Brandon) was friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Also, my parents had a bird that would come visit the alcove above their front door with his face in the corner. It would only come at night and was making a huge mess of droppings - all over the Christmas trees! We contacted Atlas - they came out to have a look and assessed the behavior of the bird. It had been forced out of its nest and was disgruntled. Atlas recommended that we use a deterrent and by damn it worked! Highly recommended.

The BEST customer service! Lauren's response rate on emails is fantastic, she even answers emails after hours - that's some serious customer service! Riley is my favourite tech, and even my dog loves her! They seem to look forward to seeing each other every time she comes to visit the building. I love that she wears the little booties and NEVER forgets when she comes into my home - she takes care with moving my "stuff" and furniture to access the bait stations and also puts everything back where it was originally. I also like her eye for detail and I appreciate these little gestures and she just seems to understand her customers and their wants and needs as if she was literally in their shoes. She is also quite knowledgeable about mice and she gives you the hard honest truth. Our building is 20 years old and we have had mice in the walls for years ...they arent leaving but they are under control - she is realistic in what she tells you and is straight talk about the plan of attack. I'm so glad I found Atlas Pest and Wildlife company online, which had very good google reviews. We've been tormented by a rat that got into our house through the backyard wall. I called Atlas and they were courteous on the call and quick to book an inspection visit, which by the way is free of cost. They made 2 extra visits upon request and no additional charge. Finally Fred, who is not even the animal control specialist but maintenance personnel, understood my situation and teamed up with me to chase the trapped rat through the backyard door. We have been plagued by a pigeon couple who took up roosting on a knee brace under the roof at the back of the house. Subsequently, we had piles of droppings right at the bottom of our back stairs. We had the house repainted and a new roof put up over the back porch. While the roofers were up there they put up spikes on the knee braces. The pigeons then roosted on the hydro wires directly over the basement door. The pile of droppings moved to directly in front of the door, and all over the siding. Lucas from Atlas put up netting under the wires. For a few days we were pigeon free , however, there was a down spout from the gutters, not under the net, and the pigeon(s) moved there. Lucas came back and put up spikes. We were not charged for the return trip and spikes as Atlas aims to provide excellent service and to ensure customer satisfaction. They do! I would highly recommend them.

Once I turned to Atlas Pest and Wildlife Control my 'pest in the attic' issue was resolved quickly. The tech arrived on time and assessed the situation correctly during the first visit. Even though all signs led to it being a squirrel, he went up and checked the attic space thoroughly anyway just in case it was something else (it wasn't). For the repair visit (I only wanted an estimate the first visit) the tech adjusted his schedule with little notice to arrive a day before snowfall to fix the problem for me. The office staff were great coordinating and communicating with me and the techs. The professionalism and quality of the work was significantly better than the other two companies I had dealt with before and cost the same or less. I rarely write reviews but Atlas Pest and Wildlife Control I highly recommend.

Had Sparling birds nesting in the soffits at the peaks in the front of my house. My neighbour had a similar issue last year and recommended Atlas to me as he was pleased with the work they did. The height required longer ladders and 2 employees (per Worksafe BC regulations). The day I had the service scheduled I received a call in the morning from Cary confirming what time they would be arriving and who would be attending. Cary, Austin, and June showed up on-time and were very polite explaining the work they would be doing. They quickly went about their work and did a great job closing up the gaps where the birds had nested, as well, pressured washed away the dropping and cleaned the siding without damaging the stained finishing on the featured Cedar siding in the front of my house. Was very pleased with the level of service and professionalism of the team at Atlas and pleased with a 5 year warranty on the work they did. I would certainly use Atlas again and would recommend their services for bird guarding your home.

I was having a mouse problem in my parent's garage so I asked a friend if he knew a guy. He recommended Atlas. When I looked into the company I notticed that they were fairly new but after reading some reviews and talking to the friendly fellow on the phone I decided to givem a shot. They sent a technician out the next day and he set up some black boxes with bait around the garage. He went above and beyond and checked out the rest of the house as well and found some signs of mice in the basement that we didn't even nottice. Its been over a month now, and I haven't come across any evidence of their presence (fingers crossed). On top of that, the guy got rid of the moths in our kitchen too. They eat it and go away apparently and then die? Anyway no traps nothing else. The problem still persists so I wanted them to take away their baits and give me a refund . We called Atlas to help with bird problems, as they were damaging the house. One of their estimators had came out and after examining the damage, he stated it was Woodpeckers damaging the house. He had stated that they would install metal flashing and other deterrents to help with the problem. 2 months after "fixing" the problem, they are back and I called Atlas again, as there is "one year guarantee". A different service guy comes out and states it will be another $200, as they had "Sperlings" as the previous problem. Not sure why they treated for Sperlings, when the initial estimator stated Woodpeckers. Cash grab?

Living on the North Shore, I've had more than my fair share of interactions with creatures that love the wet and damp environment of my property against the mountains. I mostly learn to live with the critters but my ant problem persisted year after year in spite of my own attempts to rid my home of their unrelenting presence in my kitchen each spring. I have a few chickens that I keep in my backyard in an urban setting, that were attracting rats. Atlas has eliminated them for me, and I have not seen a rat for over a year now!
