With a great sense of humour , offered alot of solutions to resolve pest problem. Might be great at what they do, but their owner/employee who drives the Toyota Tacoma is a careless and ignorant driver. He was pulling off of Riverside Dr onto Dollarton highway one morning as I was crossing the road on a walk signal, and nearly ran me right over by cutting inches right in front of me. I threw my hands up in the air as he was coming towards me, and he didn't so much as flinch or even care as he proceeded to just about run my toes over. Wouldn't do business with someone that careless and ignorant.

Within 45 minutes Jason arrived and, after a warm handshake and a brief introduction, he proceeded to share his wealth of "ant knowledge"! Fortunately our ants were not of the carpenter variety and Jason then explained in detail how we could deal with them ourselves without needing to use his services. I phoned for wasps nest removal and they were there in less than 2 hours. The problem wasn't actually a nest so they dusted the area to stop wasps returning this season. Initially, I had called two other companies on the Saturday of a long weekend and had booked with one of them but they didn’t explain much and said they could send a technician only at 7:30 am on a Tuesday which was very inconvenient as I would need to call in late for work. I then called Solutions pest control and they were able to work around my availability better. From the get-go, the customer service was exceptional. After talking with Amanda, who was was very understanding and explained the process of getting rid of the pests, I cancelled my appointment with the first company. Amanda quickly set up an appointment for the first day after a long weekend. I was relieved that treatment would begin quickly. The technicians were punctual and knowledgeable. Cornell was terrific and did a thorough job of the first treatment and it was very effective. Rob was fantastic for the follow-up. He was very thorough, taking time to explain what he found and he showed me where some dead bugs were found. He also went above and beyond and helped me put a mattress cover on. It would have been difficult as I’m petite and the mattress is heavy. It totally gave me a peace of mind and I had the best sleep in three weeks! Cornell, Amanda and Rob - you’re all amazing! From my first phone call to the company owner I was impressed with the level of professionalism I encountered. Jason arrived on time, as promised, for the initial assessment. I was given all relevant information concerning my bed bug problem in plain non patronising language. There was no attempt to up-sell an expensive treatment plan. I recently underwent a complicated move to a nice apartment after living in a house for many many years. We had no silverfish in the house. I understood there were silverfish in the building. I saw one in the bathroom early but what freaked me out was seeing one on my late mother's chair a couple of weeks later. I immediately called Solutions Pest Control without even contacting the building management and was glad I did. The answer to my question about how much it cost to spray for silverfish was straightforward. However, the receptionist, Michelle, gave me a huge amount of information – very useful. It was relieving to know that two silverfish in 19 days was not unusual for a building and, even with spraying, they could not be eradicated. I left the conversation feeling immensely positive about things to do in the future. I would recommend Solutions Pest Control to anyone – although I did not require spraying they seem incredibly competent and I would not hesitate to use them if I had a real problem in the future.

And they pre-booked me for appointment to clear it out for the next day, just in case I actually did have an infestation problem. I didn’t but he also showed me how to identify if I did next time. After finding a bed bug in my apartment, I came across Solutions Pest Control and their mobile bed bug heat treatment. Upon speaking with Jason (the owner), rather than trying to sell me services I didn't need, he spent time explaining to me why my situation wasn't as dire as I thought, and to monitor rather than jump to expensive treatment options. A few days later I called back after noticing some bites, ready for treatment. I spoke to the woman who answered the phone (sorry I didn't catch her name), and she equally reassured me that at this time, treatment wasn't necessary, but if it came to it, Solutions Pest Control would be there for me. I very much appreciate how knowledgeable and empathetic Jason and his team are, not to mention patient and a real reflection of integrity. He was patient, explained things without rushing, and answered my questions, While he was doing so and telling me the options, we noticed another wasp hive, but this one was hidden--we only knew it was one because we saw wasps flying in an out of a gap between my shingles and top of my deck. So Matt ended up dealing with both wasp nests. He also did a walk around my property to see if he could find other visible and hidden wasp nests. We talked again, of course, after he completed the job and he told me to stay away from the nests for min. 24hrs and up to 36 hours, depending on how angry the remaining wasps are! I was very happy with the response time, all the points of contact with Apex from Liz at the office to Matt our technician. In the service industry today it's too common to find service people who dress like slobs and do sub-par work at best. Solutions Pest Control are upholding the values of punctuality, professionalism, and customer service, which is very refreshing and why I felt compelled to write this review. Our home inspector identified a potential carpenter ant issue in our new home. Solutions Pest Control were able to schedule an appointment right away and Chris arrived exactly at the scheduled time. Being local he was familiar with the area and the pest issues currently affecting the neighbourhood. While Chris could have launched a full-scale pesticide attack right away he instead took a pragmatic approach which proved the carpenter ant damage was old news. We could have been upsold on expensive treatments or monthly plans for ants we didn't even have! Instead, we received piece of mind knowing the ants were gone, we didn't need to relocate our family and cats, and it was very cost-effective. Chris even did a complimentary inspection of the rest of the house, which was unexpected but most appreciated.

Although the problem has been resolved and the guys were polite on time and all that, reading back through the reports (there were quite a few!) to write 'None noted' under pest activity when clearly the squirrel(s) had chewed through the wire meshing that they had put around the one way trap and then chewed similarly what I had replaced of the original, twice, and could clearly hear something running backwards and forwards in the soffit is ridiculous. I have also now seen that the roof tile has not been put back securely so I will now do that. So in summary the squirrels are gone, but I'm not overly impressed, you can't leave a roof like that. To leave no a positive note though their appointment confirmation and follow up (with exception to some of what they write) is well done.

I would recommend this company for anyone requiring pest control investigations / solutions. The technician; Dominic was very knowledgeable, friendly, and well prepared. He had provided an initial inspection and a follow up inspection. The result was that no nest / rodent activity was found, but the professionalism / responsiveness will definitely bring me back to this company for any future pest control investigations / solutions.
