Excellent customer service from the cold call I made to inquire, to the IPM Field Tech Anthony who arrived early. Did a thorough review of our property and was not pushy. Explained options patiently explaining why the need for a trap line initially to trap any rats "nesting inside any of the crawl spaces", and with each visit to dispose of any caught, over an initial 2 month period, would then screen/block any of their outside entry points. I also appreciate the report from each visit.

I called Old Island Pest control to help me get rid of the rats in my garage. They charged me $280 for 2 visits but I canceled the follow up visit because they hadn't caught a single rat. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 is because they did refund me $80 for the canceled follow up visit. They didn't seem to have a clear strategy on how to get rid of the rats, the technician that came to my place recommended that I seal off the entry points so they couldn't come and go but when I phoned and talked to the manager he told me that I shouldn't seal it up. Basically the technician scattered a few traps around and then gave me the bill, I paid $200 for about 20 mins of his time and a handful of traps that I could easily have put out myself. I'm right back where I was before calling them so I feel like I got very little value for my money.

We had carpenter ants in our siding. Old Island were prompt with making appointments, showed up on time, seemed knowledgeable about the ants. The treatment was effective and they came back a month later for a follow up treatment to ensure they stayed gone. We thought they were pricey but were very pleased with results. I called Old Island Pest Control because I had seen 1 single cockroach in my kitchen dishwasher area which had been brought into my home by a visitor (hidden in their backpack). They had Chris, our technician, arrive the very next day. He was punctual and after a thorough review of my home, was able to determine that we didn't have an infestation and that this was possibly the only one that got into our home. He checked the cockroach I had found and killed and noted that the egg sac was still attached. He educated us on the process and product he would be using and scheduled a return visit. He reassured me that the methods used was going to resolve the situation and for me not to worry. Chris returned 2 weeks later to report that the traps were empty and there were no signs of cockroaches. Extremely happy with the customer service I received from start to finish. Came across a surprise rodent issue, only to discover its a bumper year for this type of rodent. The mystery is, how were they entering into the walls of the building, and better yet, how to get them out? Chris Sabean, PCO Master Technician from Old Island Pest Control, appeared within a day or two of my original call. He set several traps on Day 1. Now the challenge was to locate a very well hidden entry point. He monitored the situation every 3rd day. With true determination and diligence, he took the necessary steps to 1) Find the point of entry, 2) Set more traps in that specific area, 3) Check traps regularly, 4) Remove the carcasses and 5) Close up the point of entry once he was sure they had all been eradicated from the building. In addition to Chris' pleasant personality, he was very professional, knowledgeable in his craft, and highly efficient. I want to mention he is also super diligent and determined to achieve results for his clients! In summary, Old Island Pest Control offers great value. Without hesitation, I highly recommend Chris Sabean and the services of Old Island Pest Control.

I was told the pests I have ‘were in my head.’ Please don’t gaslight your customers and of course at the last minute my appointment was cancelled. Unapologetic too! This company doesn’t understand what being discreet is about. I was accessed in 5 minutes, our video cameras have time stamps here! My place was completely covered in insect powder. The exterminator only checked a small section in my bathroom, not the rest of the apartment. How can you be sure?

The person I talked to was not able to confirm that we even had a third service pending. I left my phone number and was told a note regarding a phone call warning was added to our file. The next correspondence from this company was telling us they completed the service. No notice! How can we even confirm the service was done? Not happy.

I spent close to $250 for an inspection and a follow up visit. The 'inspection' took 5 min. He put 3 rat traps down and was supposed to come back to collect them. He didn't show up. He forgot to book himself in. But I get to keep the rat traps. Yeah...... All that for $250. I chose this company because it was local and the 'little guy'. Don't waste your money. I was contacted by management/owner after this review and I was refunded $168. I will use you again because you made it right, thank you!

We are away until I return late-March and the follow-up is more than comforting. We have 'roaches here in Cayman. Perhaps you should extend your services during the winter months. This is the second time that we have used Old Island Pest Control and are very happy with their services. We had a few mice in the house in 2016 and we haven’t had any mice since then. We had to call this year (2020) as we were experiencing an ant problem in our kitchen. We spoke to the receptionist whom was very professional and told us the highest cost, knowing that without an evaluation she wasn’t sure what the technician would recommend. We are especially happy with their technician/service employee Anthony as he gave us an estimate which was less than expected (knowing that the ants were not an infestation) and gave us excellent information and advice on keeping the ants out. We have an annual contract for pest control with Old Island. They have handled several infestations over the years. Got rid of rats, wasps and ants. Now Indian Meal Moths - whatever those are. Came in grain or spice we bought and drove us nuts. Little brown moths fluttering around in the kitchen and other rooms in the house. Past tense. Chris Sabean came out and sprayed. We disappeared for four hours, Chris sprayed and that was it - they're gone. Exactly the outcome we were seeking.

I LOVE these guys! My husband and I have had to call them on a few different occasions (our old residence, plus our current one), and every single time they have been SO helpful. When they've come for an inspection for whatever we've requested, not once have they pushed unnecessary work, or even for their time when seeing that we didn't have a problem! I called Old Island Paste Control 3 weeks ago because we bought a house, but the last owner had dogs. So there is flea problems. Kenny came over and sprayed the whole house and the car. He is very nice and helpful! After two weeks, we still got bite, so I called Kenny and he came over and sprayed the cough and car very carefully again. It may take some time to kill all the fleas. I think Kenny is very professional and very nice. Hopefully this can help kill all the fleas. I will wait and see. I think Kenny is very professional and it's a company that you can trust. So far, they did well. they promised they would make sure to kill all the fleas. I will see what happen next. I would recommend them so far! I will keep posting what happens next. Todd
