⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an ongoing issue with squirrels in our attic. We had tried a number of companies with no success. These guys came in and within a week finally locked them out! They are incredibly professional and I would highly recommend them.

They respond quickly which is essential for pest control, and they don’t over sell for things which may not be necessary, and their professionals are very much accountable, and willing to do more beyond. Kate provided me with a bed bug treatment and a couple of K9 inspections. She is extremely knowledgeable and clear with options/pricing/product details, and her K9 Halo is the sweetest and smartest. I would recommend this company to anyone.

Dennis has been very friendly and informative on all details regarding the traps to be set inside and outside our residence. The follow up bi-weekly inspection had always been ontime and performed thorough inspection on all traps and immediately related the inspection reault in detail, also adviced the next step of action to be taken to further the elimination of the mouse activities, if and when needed. I would highly recommend the service from 1st Pest Control, especially from Dennis. I also have to compliment the dispatcher Jordyn who was so friendly and helpful and patient answering all my concerns while setting up the initial appointment.

I used the service for one year at two different properties. The pricing and tech services were fair and effective. However, I tried to schedule a second meeting (that would I'd pay for) with a tech to discuss exclusion work that needed to be done at a property. The admin assistant, Trina, was very dismissive and unhelpful. Finally, she stopped replying to emails. I cancelled my service shortly thereafter. Would not recommend.

I have hired two pest control companies and I have to say, 1st Pest Control completely outdid the customer service of the first company I hired. Mathew was professional, knowledgeable, respectful and hugely helpful in addressing all our pest control needs. He went beyond our expectations, and explained everything to us. We learned from him and feel like we have everything under control and understand further steps we can do to prevent other possible pest issues from arising. Very happy with 1st Pest Control!

William is our monthly pest control technician and has done a wonderful job of baiting/setting traps for rodents. William is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. We have also used the services of Kate and her working K9 named Halo from 1st Pest to preventively check all or units for bed bugs. The inspections were a joy. I was quoted $75 for a visual flea inspection for the purpose of moving out of our rental apartment. On the day of the inspection, I was informed that not only would there need to be a follow up visit after 7 days, it would cost an additional $75. This was all new information to me, and none of this was mentioned in the email correspondence with the company. Unfortunately, my lease would expire before the technician could come back in 7 days. As a direct result, I was forced to pay a fine to my rental management company for failure to obtain a flea inspection. 1st Pest Control might do great work, but without proper communication with clients, it does not matter. When I hire a company for a service, I reasonably expect to be fully informed of the total price, as well as details about the process and timeline of the work in question. I received none of this with 1st Pest Control, resulting in direct, negative consequences for me. For the above reasons, I will look elsewhere in the future.

We have had two preliminary visits with the pest control “team”. They have been really fantastic and flexible in working out the best strategies to approach our very significant problems with squirrels and raccoons in a very tall 100 year old Vancouver East Side house. We have yet to actually tackle the critters but I believe we will be able to work with their team to get it done .

I sent an email to every pest control company I could find in Vancouver to inquire about services over the holidays. Matthew actually took the time to call me and get more info. After learning that I was a tenant in a not ideal situation and that we might not even be using his services, he spent 30 minutes on the phone with me educating me on how to keep my home safe. He answered all my questions and really went above and beyond to help me understand how to best deal with the issue. I truly appreciated this so much and left the call feeling confident on how to proceed. Amazing customer service and knowledge!!
