I had a very odd situation with an American Bittern -> (bird - Heron family) and when I called Jared, he answered the phone right away. Was over at my place within 35 mins. Overpriced and ineffective! The owner was more concerned with taking pictures of the rodents around my house. My infestation problem never went away, as it wasn't dealt with properly. I was talked down to maybe because I'm a woman? After a few weeks I called a respectful company and they solved my issues and at a better price.

Thank you Kevin for your help today! Our roof has some pre-existing wildlife-related work done by some other company that was there when we purchased. We noticed recently on one of those spots the soffit had been damaged and there was a hole but the wire mesh was intact so I was worried about how something may have gotten in. I hadn’t heard any animals in the attic but also am not offering a rodent hotel so I called Ontario Wildlife Removal immediately last night as they did awesome work for us in the past. Kevin came by today (and remembered me!) and concluded that (as he has seen before) the old company that put the wire up didn’t bother fixing the soffit at all, they just blocked off the entry but didn't seal it so small things could still get in! Kevin evaluated the roof and set to work getting us all fixed up. He also checked all over to ensure that there was no way anything could get in anywhere else. It was quick and I feel so relieved now! Afterward, Kevin showed what he had done and even walked me through some of the other areas on the roof that we should pay attention to and/or fix in future. I am so happy and will always recommend OWR to everyone. I also want to mention that in setting this appt up, I spoke with Christine and with Jared as I had initially called during after hours and they were both so friendly and took the time to chat through the issue and tell me the next steps. Having animal issues can be stressful and embarrassing but these folks calm your fears and do excellent work. They are all super professional, knowledgeable, friendly and caring. If you’re reading this, there is no need to call anybody else!!

If you have a pest problem, these are the guys to call. They went above and beyond for me and my family. My kid let out his cat by accident, and we couldn't find him for days. I contacted Jarrod (who was on vacation at the time, I must note), I mentioned to him I was all out of ideas after searching high and low for days, for my kitten. Jarrod was still able to get his guys out to set some cages to try and catch him. It was all done safe, and humanely. His team was professional and helpful, so if you want it done right... call them!

I was startled a few nights ago by the sound of something making horrible sounds in my attic. I promptly emailed Ontario wildlife Removal . I didn’t know what was up there, all I knew is it should not be. It seemed very overwhelming. The office promptly called me in the morning to explain the process. She detailed the process from the quote, to the work to the guarantee. They came to the house the same day and called me to ask a few questions and explain what they found and did not find and the work that needed to be done was explained in detail and why. There was a quote emailed to me , and the work was booked. The quote was very reasonable and detailed. They came out and performed the work with the same professionalism and detail that we had already received. They explained what they found and did not find, and as well why they had arrived at those conclusions. It is a bit of detective work these guys have to do. They gave clear direction on what we needed to observe. (in case there were babies). The reasons I am giving a 5 star rating! I have never had an unwanted house guest in my attic. I was afraid I would be at the mercy of the professionals and be upsold and talked into things that I blindly would have felt compelled to pay for. I never felt pressured from anyone. I felt informed and comfortable with what was being explained to me. Everyone that I dealt with was professional and pleasant. The work was performed with care and respect. It also was humane, and timely. I would recommend this company hands down if you ever have an unwanted house guest.

Had a bird problem in a main floor bathroom vent with a small nest being made ( I thought there might have been small birdlings but it was empty) and it was beginning to smell. Pros: Reached out to me quickly and was able to schedule the removal right away. Cons: very expensive ($350 for removal) for about 30 min of work. I assumed that with no birds actually having to be caught/removed there wouldn’t be a full fee but I won’t complain too much as that’s what I was quoted. The first time they came, half the nest was removed and a minor treatment for bird mites was done however within a couple days the smell became much worse and mites were coming through the fan. Was told the birds had gotten through the plastic tubing and lots of the nest was remaining in there. After requesting another person to fully remove the nest and apply mite treatment, a hole was cut in my ceiling and the remaining tubing was pulled through where I was left with the bag of nest waste to dispose of and clean up what dropped out of my ceiling into the bathroom. All in all they technically removed the nest like quoted but at that price I expected not to have to now install new ducting and patch a 4”X10” hole in the ceiling as well as handle all the clean up. Had I known this was all the service I would be receiving I would have saved myself the money and yanked it out myself.

After leaving a 2 star review the owner looked up my phone number and called me to try to bully me into changing my review and telling me I'm destroying a family run business. I highly recommend Ontario Wildlife Removal Inc! I messaged Jared (the owner) Wednesday evening to inquire about scratching we have heard in our attic. He said he would come have a look. He was at our house the next morning to look around the house and in the attic. He found that we had mice. Within a few hours he sent his crew to fix the issue. We were not only impressed by the prompt attendance, but by the service, and professionalism from Jared and his crew. They were extremely knowledgeable and thorough. While taking caution to not harm the animals, they also took extreme measures to remove the mice from the home and secure entrance points as to where they may enter in the future. Spring is in the air, the birds are chirping, but a mommy raccoon has found it's way into our chimney for a warm place to have her babies. The crying baby raccoon kits where driving my family crazy in the fireplace. I called several wildlife removal services in the KWCG region. The first one called was slow to respond taking 2 days to do a quote, the 2nd one quoted without inspecting....I finally found Ontario Wildlife Removal Inc, my first call, I connected with Christine that walked me through their process and I was able to have a crew onsite in less than 20 hours, quoted and the job done in a very fair price. The onsite crew (Great Guys) arrived as schedule at 8:15am, inspected, quoted and I gave consent to complete the job. The baby raccoons were removed to a warming box for the mommy raccoon to retrieve them and the chimney capped and done before 10:00am. Delivering customer service means acting in a fast, efficient and customer friendly service. I would definitely rate them as AAAAA***** Service Provider.

I have been dealing with a bat problem for 3 years now with Ontario Wildlife Removal and still not resolved. His workers came around the first time and pointed out where the bat is getting in and put the mesh cone in the area but I still had problems with bats coming in from the attic. Jared or his workers would not come get the bats out of my house unless I knew exactly where it was in the house.. Refuses to search for the bat or see where it is coming into the house from the attic. I found the spot myself but he did nothing to seal the area off or suggest how to avoid a bat coming in further. His workers came around and looked outside and claimed to have found 2 other spots where the bats are supposedly coming in but only put the mesh cone in one spot, still has not come around to put the mesh in the other spot. I do not recommend this company for bat removal at all. 3 years later still having issues.

I am so grateful to have found Jared and his team at Ontario Wildlife Removal. In the fall we had hired a pest control company to deal with a mouse and potential rat issue. We were told a thorough investigation of our exterior would be performed to identify the entry points along with setting up bait stations and traps. The pest control company told us they could not find any viable entry points for rodents and proceeded to set up the bait stations. Fast forward to this past weekend when I came home to a horrible smell wafting through our home - so horrible that we thought we had a natural gas leak. The smell continued this past Monday and was also noticeable to my parents who were visiting - we sniffed everywhere and found the main source to be coming from our cold air return. I called Ontario Wildlife Removal and spoke with Christine who was beyond empathetic with how I was feeling and arranged for an immediate visit to identify our problem. Within a couple of hours, Jared came to our rescue! He not only discovered and removed the cause of the horrible odour (dead mouse in our basement ceiling) but he did so with such kindness and went above and beyond to educate me about our issue. Though the cause of our problem was in the basement, Jared did a thorough check of our house including our attic. His exterior investigation immediately found the cause of our problem, an entry point that was never identified to us back in the fall by the pest control company we had hired. Jared prepared two estimates for us - one for a full exterior proofing and one for more immediate fixes. I really appreciate that he didn't take an "all or nothing" approach and gave me options that worked for us to immediately rectify the problem as well as options for us to consider in the future. Knowing how anxious I was about the whole ordeal, Jared made arrangements to have one of his team members here first thing the next morning. Alex was just as wonderful as Jared and did an incredible job taking action to stop any future mice and rats from making our home their own! There are so many things I love about Ontario Wildlife Removal's approach but above all else, it is evident that this company loves animals and cares about ensuring your home is protected while also treating wildlife humanely. During a recent bathroom renovation our contractor noticed our attic insulation was in desperate need of a top up.
