The technician inspected my roof, promptly identified a hole and covered it so that nothing could get back inside with an opening so that the red squirrels could get out if any were still inside. Had to call on the services of North Star Pest Control as I could hear scratching and running noises in my house. I was not sure if the rodent - squirrel was in the walls, attic etc., but I made the appointment with Shakeel to come out to see me on the Wednesday. However, whatever I thought was irrelevant as the squirrel made its way into my home on the Tuesday. I quickly contacted Shakeel who although was booked tried to make arrangements for someone to come out and help me. I managed to get my neighbor to assist and after about an hour we managed to get the squirrel out. I contacted Shakeel and advised of the situation and we decided to keep the initial appointment. Shakeel arrived on time the next day and did a thorough search of my roof and attic and could not find any holes or how they were entering my home. He even went and looked at the neighbors roof (with their permission) and did notice a potential area where they could be entering on there side and how they could be entering my home but without a full inspection on the neighbors property it was hard tell. Although he was unable to pinpoint the area, we discussed alternatives and I am happy to report no more noises - fingers crossed no more squirrels!!! I would highly recommend anyone contacting North Star Pest control for any pest issues you have. Cheers

A squirrel moved into our attic. Of all the pest control services that I called North Star was the most responsive and least expensive. Their service rep., Sajjy was knowledgeable and friendly. He installed a one way exit for the squirrel to escape and later returned to replace it with a permanent barrier. We appreciate the 3 year warranty as well.

Second time using their services for an after hours emergency. We had a skunk get trapped in a basement window well and North Star were the only place that answered the phone and were able to come out. They arrived within an hour, immediately figured out the problem and had it resolved, lickety split. Not only that but they also covered the window well with a grate to prevent the same incident from recurring. I'd definitely use their services again, though I hope not to have to! ????

Horribly unprofessional ‘company’. Stay away from North Star Pest Control! They make false claims and will not take care of your pest problem(s). Shakeel is not knowledgeable and doesn’t know how to speak to customers. He was hired to take care of our wasp problem is our backyard. He showed-up, took down one of the nests and sprayed some holes in between the bricks. He acted very cocky and stated that the pesticide he used was so strong that we wouldn’t see anymore wasps for 6+ months. He guaranteed it! (as stated on his website). He charged 150$. The very next morning (less than 24 hours later), the wasps are back in the exact same spots. Shakeel did kill some wasps but he didn’t take care of the actual problem (as promised). When we called him to discuss and have him come back, he refused, said we were not telling the truth and hung-up on us. DO NOT USE NORTH STAR PEST CONTROL. SHAKEEL IS UNPROFESSIONAL, EXPENSIVE AND WILL NOT TAKE CARE OF YOUR PROBLEM.

Had a raccoon decide to move into the edge of our attic. Bash and Shakeel installed a one way door to ensure his eviction and prevent his return then permanently sealed with wire mesh before re-securing the roof coverings. Also put black mesh over all roof vents for future prevention. Also gave us tips to prevent raccoons from homemaking in other parts of the yard. Service very professional, helpful and good value. We heard some noises coming from our blocked chimney in our basement. After a week it was smelling bad and the noises had stopped. We called North star pest control and Mr. Bashir was very punctual to come in early morning at 6.45 AM from Brampton to Ajax. He cleaned all dead animals (Sunk, Squirrel, Bird) and he also caught live squirrel in the chimney. Now its over a month and we do not hear any sounds and no more bad smell. He fixed the mess on top of the chimney on the roof. Bashir is very professional and their charges are very reasonable compared to other company's. Also he has given us 3 years warranty for his job. I definitely would recommend for any pest control issues.

We have needed North Star’s services twice in the past year. The first issue was squirrels in the (4th floor) attic last fall. He placed a reverse gate and there have been no more squirrels. Because we had a great experience, we called Shakeel when wasps settled into our fireplace exhaust vent. He came and treated the yellowjackets’ nest as well as treating the fireplace inside (LOTS of wasps were coming in!). It’s been a couple of weeks and no wasps, so can’t say enough good things about the service this company provides.

Great Service!!! I saw a mouse in my house and spent over $60 on Amazon getting various mice traps - yes the trap caught a mouse but I soon realize it was not only one mouse. I search google to seek help and North Star was one of the company’s that showed up . After reading their reviews and visiting their website I gave them a call and I must say they are true professionals and did not disappoint. Sajjy came out and thoroughly went through my home inside and outside identifying possible points of entrance, and placing baits in the areas inside he thinks the mice reside. Prior to him coming out, while I did not see the mice we could hear little noises especially at night; after the first week of them coming to my home and putting down their poison we have not seen or heard another mouse. It was now time to block the points of entrance and I called North Star to do another check, which they did without hesitation and even help me to block the entrances. They simply made sure my home was fine and gave me a piece of mind. North Star has lived up to their commitments and that I truly appreciate- Don’t waste your $$$ on mice traps which doesn’t solve the problem. Call North Star - Thank u Sajjy and Team!!!!

Northstar Pest Control was called due to their very high reviews. Shakeel was very professional over the phone and came on time for the appointment to inspect the property for mice and squirrels late September. He was extremely thorough in his interior and exterior inspection of the property and garage. Unlike many companies, as as the inspection was taking place, Shakeel really went over and above in providing detailed guidance on the things to do to deter critters from making a home on the property. Noises in the attic I kept hearing scratching sounds in the attic, and we were referred to North Star by another company. So glad he did, as North Star was able to come the very next day, climbed the roof and did a full inspection and figured out within no time that there were squirrels coming through a small hole in the roof. He promptly showed us all entry points and potential entry points and repaired them all. He also followed up with us multiple times after to ensure we didn't have any more problems!!! I've never had a company follow up with me, without me calling them first- i was so impressed and happy. He also was a wealth of knowledge when we asked him about rats we saw running around outside and even helping us out by providing us ???? box. Happy to say that issue has been solved as well!
